well it did seem everybody here was a girl, but hey- diversity was.. yeah. ace bounded over, glancing towards the fish as he sat down, freckled face in a frown. he couldn't really swim anymore so catching fish was out of the question but he could attempt to relate to his clanmates. "i once caught a salmon in the river." that had been during the scavenger hunt, before he had eaten the fruit, and namaste had ended up having to save him because he hadn't wanted to lose the fish. ah, good times.

a small tch sound could be heard as ace trotted over, eyes narrowed in a quiet anger. it just angered him even more every time someone was taken- it was completely unneccesary for shadowclan to take on of theirs. riverclan never captured shadowclanners, so why did they keep doing this? he would come to realize later it wasn't in his clan's nature to do such things, they were a pro clan after all. "stupid shadowclanners.." he glared at the remaining tufts of fur, tail lashing. the other half of his clan was from shadowclan, and it only proved to him more how terrible shadowclanners were. small flames began to emit from his paws as he sat down, and upon noticing so he began to force himself to chill, the fire beginning to ebb away.

yeah it's almost one in the morning but hey- when you got to make a pokemon card for your charrie and write a story about it, you do

so here goesbasically the trainer looks almost completely who he is based off so applause to that
it did take me ten minutes just to find that, not gonna lie. and basically, the reason he has so many fire pokemon is, well, kind of obvious but he has fire powers aha c; he's also a kid so he may have gotten some water pokemon in there confused for fire pokemon, which are his world. sadly, ace has spent his days training his starter in hopes of beating the second gym leader, a water type, only to realize that it is hopeless because she has all water types- and once his strong starter type is taken down, all his weak pokemon that have no attention paid to them are down with one hit k.o's. so yeah, lets begin the pokemon examination.[flamey ♂ blaziken]
flamey is ace's starter, so he was basically forced to be with this kid. he was immediately given the most attention out of all his pokemon, primarily because ace was in awe of his strong fire moves and wanted to be the strongest fire type trainer.he is not a pyromanic at all ahabecause of this, all his other pokemon are weak and flamey is approximately 25 levels higher than his other pokemon, that rest at level 11. yeah. it's sad. but yeah, after flamey evolved into a combusken he began to carry ace around on his back, which carried onto his blaziken form. this is also the reason ace comes home with burns all over his arms but satisfied with a good day at training. aaa..[growly ♂ growlithe]
yeah, he found growlithe by complete chance mainly because he was exploring his home land and decided to go head to the volcano that inhabited the island. anddd, surprise surprise but he found a bunch of fire type pokemon! he and growly are good friends, of course not as close as blaziken, but he considers growly his right hand man after flamey. all growly knows are some status moves and ember, so even though he loses every battle, he still gets encouraged by ace and like a puppy dog, growly feels better instantly. what a great friendship (:[flames ♂ ponyta]
don't mind how eerily similar this is to flamey's name, there is good reason for the naming of flames. it's because there are flames on his back. //slides shades on
yeah but he and ace aren't too close considering he burns ace's pants everytime he tries to ride and all the girls on the block laugh at him as he runs past. especially sally, she laughed with all her friends at him. now he has absolutely no chance with her. all because of flames.[flops ♂ magikarp]
the simple reason he caught magikarp was because he confused the flopping of the fish for a perhaps to-come fire move. that and he was red so it all made sense. they aren't that close because flops can't get past blubbering and flopping every where.[sluggy ♂ slugma]
sluggy was just too slow to avoid the pokeball so then their friendship was born. sluggy never gets out of his pokeball except during battles because he is always dragging the team behind.

its kind of the same sad story with flops but poor fire octopus was chosen because he was red. after that, ace was just confused why he kept on using water gun and still encourages fire octopus to use a fire move. he is disappointed each and every time.#brosquad

it seemed seconds later, like he was expecting, scaly lifted him out of the water and rescued him. well, if that rescue involved flinging. landing, he was silently grateful that he hadn't done so on his bad shoulder, ear twitching as he pondered the possibility of scaly doing that on purpose. no, that was actually quite impossible. coughing a bit and shaking out his fur as best as possible, as he found it irritating when he was wet- he couldn't use his powers or anything, he scoffed. ace didn't really notice it anymore, but he kind of just responded to 'runt' and 'pipsqueak' now. it couldn't be helped really, it was kind of like a nickname for him, even though others would probably find it offensive to the small feline yet the feline himself wouldn't notice. just like mirai, in that case, as she had taken his side, although that attempt at standing up to scaly had gone over pretty terribly, especially since he wasn't big enough. he just needed to be bigger, faster, and stronger. and that was what training was for. he glanced to rose, curiousity flickering in his dark colored optics as they locked onto the quiet girl. she was older than him, if only by a few moons, so he would have to be on his toes if he was going to challenge her. "you ready to fight me?" sitting didn't seem like a good position to fight in but he was sure she would get up and prepare herself once she heard him.

"oh cool- aternum sounds like a cool name." he mispronounced the elegant last name right off the bat, completely unaware he had done so as he trotted over. it was long, and therefore cool in his dictionary, so as soon as he had heard her announcing such a thing he had made sure he let her know. people usually liked things like that. he actually had four last names, which was kind of weird because although he had memorized all of them, he didn't ever introduce himself with them. or ever tell anyone about them. mainly because his father up and left him and then the rest of his family was in shadowclan doing who knows what, but it wasn't like it mattered too much, considering they were shadowclanners in general. and shadowclanners were riverclan's enemy, only making him dislike them more.

to say he was awake would be a lie, no, he had been in a peaceful slumber. however he did seem to constantly find himself waking up to find npc kids roaming the halls in a panic because they lost their rooms. it almost seemed as if this was another one of those situations, however the voice outside his room didn't sound much like a kit. whelp, it was time to see what was up.carefully getting up, he made sure to not use his healing shoulder, especially since scaly had put it back in place so roughly. or maybe that was just how much it was supposed to hurt. shaking off the irritating thought, he pushed open the door that he rarely remembered to lock, glancing out into the hall with dark colored luminaries. his optics immediately caught onto a grey tabby coat, about his size, which almost made him believe that it was ivylee, save for the voice. and the fact that she was talking about windclan. he didn't particularly know this girl very well, but why of all things would she be talking about going to windclan when she was in riverclan. he had just gotten up and his senses were a bit bleary, so at the moment he couldn't tell that she actually did smell of windclan,"why are you trying to get back to windclan in the middle of the night? especially since you're in the heart of riverclan territory?"

"where are they? are they in riverclan too?" he plopped down, tilting his head in curiosity as he awaited an answer- after all, he hadn't seen anybody around here that looked like reality.. or maybe he just sucked at finding similarities.

ace trotted over, coming from behind hana as he heard her ask the usual name and business question, only sitting down in the soft grass not too far away, eyes locked on the kitsune before them. this guy had some really bright blue eyes on him, much in contrast to the almost black eyes that he owned, though he just called them a dark brown because he himself couldn't tell what color they were due to being so dark. maybe they were blue too? a frown settled on the freckled kid's face as he unintentionally glared at the newcomer, lost in thought about what color his eyes might actually be.several seconds later he snapped out of it, realizing that he should actually be paying attention because things like this were kind of important. only kind of, however, 'cause joiners could just join whenever. "yeah, gramps- what she said." of course, the stranger was only a year old but ace was just about to turn apprentice age and that was still a bit of an age gap. of course, ace had no idea of this and was simply referring to the kitsune as such because of his size and white fur, it just reminded him of old personish things. it would be hard to get the kid's logic, after all it was a bit childish.
