a smaller, ebony-black dragoness was cornered between a wall and an angry dragoness, whose lips were curled back in an infuriated snarl. The small dragoness' name was Eyphah; a talented clairvoyant who belonged to Ethereal Clan. Prior to being pushed against the wall by the dragoness, Eyphah was traveling through the city on a "business trip", one of her newer prophecies led her here. while wandering through the city the void dragoness was approached by a much larger female, and while trying to shoo her away the female found out about her clairvoyant abilities. She simply refused to stop pestering the poor Clairvoyant until her question was answered; what did her future have in store for her. Eventually, Eyphah finally gave in and delivered the news, which was not good at all. Her first born would die in a fatal accident along with her mate, and her second born would die before they hatched. After this, she would become infertile, and would no longer be able to bear children. Clearly, the dragoness was not happy; the aggressive glint in her eyes proved this fact true. A quiet yelp escaped Eyphah's throat as the female's claws grazed her sensitive muzzle, small droplets of light blue blood beginning to well up inside of the injury. Gingerly rubbing her muzzle the clairvoyant glared at the dragoness with her pupilless blue eyes, an annoyed sigh escaping her muzzle as she readied herself for another attack. A dragoness of this size could easily injure her fatally before any guards in the area came to her rescue; the clairvoyant had taken a secluded route to avoid any social contact.

"Is this really the answer to your misfortune, it's just a prophecy-" eyphah was cut off by an angry hiss from the dragoness and fell silent once again, giving her another glare. clearing her throat, she continued, "-and prophecies aren't always true, why do you think I came out here in the first place?" the small dragoness then tensed up as the larger one raised herself onto her hind legs with her forelegs outstretched, she was aiming to crush the smaller clairvoyant with her own weight. eyphah took this moment to escape, quickly slipping underneath the angry female's legs and making a break for it. she managed to escape almost unscathed; the wound on her nose began to sting and the dragoness had managed to rip her claws through the tip of her tail before she escaped. hissing in pain quietly eyphah escaped into some shadow and crept away, leaving the female confused and extremely annoyed. as the small clairvoyant reluctantly made it to a more social area she muttered to herself quietly, her spots pulsating with annoyance.

"some dragons just don't understand..."

shaking her head from side to side eyphah caught sight of two hooded figures, and tilting her head to the side, she decided to ignore them. she didn't need to get into any more fights today, she might not be so lucky the next time.

Grumbling angrily the dragoness' thoughts were interrupted by pleas of help, and turning her head in the direction of the commotion she felt herself tense up. She didn't know why, but she couldent allow the guards to throw them in the canal, he was...important to something. She couldent quite put her finger on what it was, but she had a feeling it was the prophecy. Grumbling in annoyance Eyphah trotted over quietly, her blank blue eyes boring into the homeless dragon as she made her way over. She didn't want to challenge the guards and end up somewhere she didn't need to be, so while she was waking she ran various scenarios through her head.

Anyway, as they delved deeper into the woods they were attacked by a large, blue reptilian creature, who got in a fight with Alex, Ember, and Charlie (Ember was caring for maria prior to this event). The creature managed to injure Alex quite a bit, but in the end, it received enough damage to shift out of its beast form. The creature then informed the group that they weren't the only one protecting civilization, implying there are more out there. Alex decided to take the injured creature with her and is now limping away while Charlie is asking her questions. Piper found MARIELLA(I'm not so sure if this was before or after the attack).

ic: The skeletal canine eventually slowed her pace down alarmingly; her injured leg was becoming quite the burden. She would have collapsed from exhaustion right then and there, but the distant smell of the city gave her newfound energy. Her leg wasn't the only burden, though, the creature she had decided to carry with her was rather light, but wasn't exactly weightless. She grumbled crossly as her uninjured leg bucked under her once again; without her other leg to support her and the extra weight she was becoming rather clumsy. After a few long, tiresome minutes of walking, Alex abruptly stopped, her muzzle pointed at the ground below her as she took a few experimental sniffs. Something wasn't right about this particular spot, she could sense it. So, cautiously, she tapped at the specific patch of earth with her tail. Just as she had thought, a rather large trap sprung out of the ground before her. It resembled a large cage, and from the hissing and popping sounds coming from inside she knew something in there was supposed to shock the unlucky subject who walked across it.

"didn't say anything about traps," she muttered crossly, and weaving around the trap she cautiously took another step forward. Nothing happened. She let the breath that she was holding escape. "be careful," she warned, "these traps are well hidden, I almost stumbled into that one."

sniffing at the ground as she walked alex growled quietly, weaving around various traps embedded in the ground. she counted at least five in a few seconds, how many would they find in a minute?[/fancypost]

Everything happened so fast, too fast, the juvenile Lverian's brain didn't even have enough time to process what was happening. Strange individuals had broken into her house not too long ago, they grabbed her mother and dragged her away, the orange Lverian screaming for her daughter as she was forced out of the room. another individual grabbed her soon after, the young Lverian's screams and struggles didn't loosen their grip as she was carried away, her glowing white eyes glistening with forming tears. prior to this event, she was playing with her pet, everything was calm in her small house, her mother was sleeping in the next room. then, they broke in, the strange people. another desperate scream escaped msaekyn's lungs as she was carried from her home, the bystanders that began to group around her house watching as she was taken, too afraid to interfere. the juvenile Lverian's pure white hair whipped around violently as something behind her landed, a large drone-piloted ship waiting for its cargo, her. Her scream was cut short as the door to the ship closed, leaving her inside, alone. blue, glittery tears streamed down her cheeks as she curled up into a feeble ball onto the cold tile floor, quiet sobs wracking her small body. She was only a few years old in Lverian time, around five or six in human years. The soft beeps and robotic voices began to lull her into a deep sleep, it was the only thing she could do right now. She was in deep space, there was no escape. While sleeping, robotic limbs got to work. They lifted her from her spot on the ground and gently placed her in some sort of bed, gently pulling the sheets up over her shoulders like a parent would. They even patted her head gingerly before retracting back into the walls, like they pitied her. The bed was then encased in a capsule which slowly began to warm up, creating the perfect little dome for her.

Msaekyn was no longer aware of how long she had been here, all she did know was that the days were far too many to count. The ship had taken care of all her needs; education, socialization, sustenance, you name it. It even gave her a map, a bold red dotted line pointing directly at the planet she was headed to. "Earth," she hummed quietly, before standing up and approaching a mirror near her sleeping quarters, ruffling her crisp white hair. She had grown into quite the attractive teenage Lverian, her poofy white hair accentuating her blue, galaxy-themed complexion well. Sighing quietly, the robotic voice startled her. "Checking yourself out as always, Msaekyn?" it hummed, a robotic arm poking her bare back, making her stumble. "There is nothing better to do, I don't exactly have anything fun to engage in," she retorted crossly, waving the arm away. The robotic voice 'tsked', like it was annoyed. "Hmph, anyway, I was just about to tell you your going to reach your destination in three days."

The Lverian awoke the next morning; she knew it was morning because the machine was keeping track of Earth night-day cycles. However, everything wasn't running smoothly. Alarms blared are red lights flashed, indicating something was wrong. "What's happening!" she screamed, her voice raised in alarm. "ALL SYSTEMS OFFLINE. SHUTTING DOWN..." the robotic voice died out with the lights, leaving the Lverian in complete darkness. her breaths were tense, waiting for the moment of impact. "five...four...three...two...one..." she thought, before her inner voice was abruptly cut off by the ship landing harshly on the ground, knocking her unconscious. The ship, however, was left unharmed. After a few minutes, the ship booted back up, getting to work. It began to transform her appearance; white hair turned platinum blonde, white eyes gained baby-blue irises, and blue skin turned a healthy tan. she was slid into a pair of black jean shorts and a short-sleeved shirt, a blue galaxy pattern printed on its surface. Then, her memories. A strange device attached itself to her forehead, wiping all of her memories in a mere few seconds, leaving her with only with vital information. Then, it dropped her off onto the Earth's surface, flying off into the atmosphere as soon as it dropped her off.

The Lverian-turned-Human was left lying on the ground, her platinum blonde hair fanning out behind her like a silky puddle.[/fancypost]

Instead of responding to his words directly Alex simply lowered her head towards him, dropping the creature in his arms. She muttered a quiet "thank you" before continuing on the invisible path to safety, and with one final step Alex reached the end of the maze of traps. A quiet sigh escaped her lungs as she turned around to face the other subjects, gesturing to the tracks embedded into the ground. "Follow the tracks closely; we don't need any more injuries," she gestured to her leg, "like the creature said, we aren't the only creatures out here."

She stood up on shaky legs; all of the energy had left her body in one big wave after she sat down, and her leg injury wasn't helping her out either. A quiet growl rumbled in her throat as she turned and trudged further into the forest, she could see small rays of light filtering through the trees, they were almost there. In fact, they were closer than she originally thought. Using the minuscule amount of energy she still had the skeletal canine quickened her pace, now sprinting across the earth in pursuit of the light. It only took her a few seconds to reach the treeline, her limbs burning with exhaustion, in fact, she doubted that they could even keep her upright any longer so she resorted to lying in a heap on the ground, her breath coming in short pants. A few steps away from her was the edge of the woods; the border away from their freedom. She could have cried, but she managed to stay composed. Besides, there was no time to get emotional. Once they were in plain sight, they needed to get to the abandoned city, and fast. She wasn't about to risk being spotted.

It only took a few short minutes for Alex to shift out of her canine form completely, her feeble humanoid form still seated on the grassy earth beneath her. With a quiet sigh she turned to look behind her, and much to her surprise, she couldn't see the other subjects. How far had she ran?[/fancypost]

The clairvoyant was about to comment on how they should watch where they were going, but her voice died in her throat when she felt the lingering cold sensation on her scales, sparking her curiosity. Clearly, this dragon was wearing armor, but why? Couldn't hurt to ask, they didn't look like a guard, so why would they be wearing armor? "Excuse me," she began, "why are you wearing armor?"

She turned to the dragon who knocked into her, her spots beginning to pulsate slowly. "You don't look like a guard, so what is your reason?" she waved her tail from side to side, "sorry for being a bother, but now I'm interested."[/fancypost]

A quiet sigh escaped her injured muzzle soon after, she didn't need to start any more arguments, not yet anyways. "Well, since you introduced yourself," she began, "I am Eyphah; the Clairvoyant of an average sized group of Void Dragon's, who also belong to the Ethereal Clan." just then, a shiver ran down her spine, signaling yet another feeling. What this dragon part of the prophecy as well? She grunted quietly and stood up, circling the dragon curiously, her blue eyes scanning their form for any signals. She found none, figuring this prophecy out was going to be a hard one. An irritated growl rumbled in her throat, her father could have had this prophecy figured out before he needed to head out. She wasn't nearly as good as her father was. "This isn't going to be easy," she muttered to herself, turning away from the elite soldier and stalking off into some shadow, her glowing losing their glow as she delved deeper into the darkness. She shook her head slowly, maybe should have left this prophecy to the older, more experienced clairvoyants. They'd probably take up her offer, she was a favorite among them, after all. The only reason they allowed her to take on this prophecy was that she was the one who received it. Another quiet grumble escaped her throat as she walked, before her voice died when she caught sight of someone.

"That dragoness!"

Lip curling into a snarl the Clairvoyant quickly turned around and hastily trotted back to where she was before, the dragoness didn't see her, but she didn't want to take any chances with that aggressive female. Passing by Ace she disappeared into another patch of shadow, weaving around various obstacles in her way.[/fancypost]
