"well this sucks!" the single voice was soon lost in the sea screams and shouts as people began to evacuate the area, trying desperately to get away from the large mass in the sky, so large it blocked out the sun. the owner of the voice was an average-looking woman, her short curly hair being blown every which way as the large mass slowly lowered to the ground, and once it landed a large cloud of dust and wind almost knocked her off her feet. blinking rapidly to try and rid the painful particles from her vision the woman began to mutter crossly and rub her eyes, and once her vision cleared, she noticed something looming over her. whatever it was, it was ugly. "what are you supposed to be?" her tone was dripping with venom and laced with annoyance, she clearly wasn't happy about this thing being on her planet. it sounded as ugly as it looked. the alien creature told something to its comrades, who had just appeared, one of them approaching the two. it said something else, and all of a sudden you were thrown over its shoulder and being carried back to the ship, much to your dislike. "let me go you son of a b*tch!" you screamed angrily as it boarded the ship, your fists doing little damage to its tough exoskeleton. "where are you even taking me!" the creature didn't stop, and eventually it dawned upon you that it probably didn't understand you, and with an angry huff you crossed your arms and began to mutter a string of curses.

the inside of the ship was so futuristic she thought she was on the set of a sci-fi movie. even though she was well aware these creatures couldn't understand her, she tried to strike up a conversation anyway. "who designed this place and where can I hire them?" she joked as the creature carried her through the seemingly endless hallways, and surprisingly it responded, but in its own language. maybe it was telling her to shut up, or maybe it was telling her what they were, she didn't know for sure. they then came across what looked like a cell, which the creature opened and tossed her inside, she landed rather roughly. "hey, you can't just throw me!" she hissed angrilly and gingerly rubbed the back of her head, before noticing who was in the cell across from her.

    "is that you ___?"

    sorry for the quality, i'm rushing over here ;-;

ic: the subject gave luna a giddy look and jumped out of the now smoking vehicle, but when she was about to say something a large, black creature tear through the forest and disappear from sight. she was speechless for a few moments, and when she was about to utter another word, she heard sobs coming from the fence. looking over at the source of them she noticed another subject, their appearance sending a shiver down her spine. alex shoved the thought to the side and jogged over to the bleeding subject, stopping not too far away from them. "you there!" she called out to them, "how bad are you injured?"

she wasn't going to leave them behind, she wouldn't be able to live with herself. not waiting for an answer the subject shoved her uneasy feeling to the side and approached them, the metallic scent of blood overpowering her senses. "we have a long ways to go before we are safe, and I'm not about to leave someone behind," alex growled quietly, "I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I left someone here..." her voice was barely a whisper.

the subject then heard gunshots, and tensing up she audibly snarled and began to whip her tails about, a strange bluish-purple flame sparking to life on both her skull and spine.

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid transparent; color: white; font-size: 8px; font-family: tahoma; text-transform: lowercase; letter-spacing: 2px; text-align: justify; line-height: 130%;]they weren't going to get too far if those gunshots continued. ignoring the injured subject for a few moments she pinpointed the source of the gunfire, a guard tower. she gritted her teeth, with the power down the tower shouldn't be accessible! with another audible snarl alex disappeared, sprinting off towards the tower. she dug her claws into the smooth metal surface, boring holes into it for grip, and slowly made her way up the tower. after a few long moments, she reached the top, counted the number of guards, and figured out a plan. the gap was big enough for the guards to fall out of, perfect. with a few whips of her tail, the majority of the guards fell through the gaps and towards their deaths, the rest frantically aiming their guns about. another whip of her tail, half of them were knocked out of the tower with the rest. she wasn't quick enough with the next half.

a yelp of pain escaped her lips as a bullet ran through her stomach, blood beginning to spill out. she growled in anger and knocked the last half off, before jumping off herself. the pain welling up in her stomach was close to unbearable, but she would have to deal with it until they got to a safe place.

reappearing once she gently lowered to the ground alex dabbed at her wound with one hand, grumbling. her accelerated regeneration would patch her up before it would cause her some major damage, but it would still hurt like hell. grumbling a string of curses quietly she leaned up against a tree, hissing.[/fancypost]

    "Sweet Jesus it is you!"

gabby forgot about the fact that they were captured for a few moments and ran over to her friend, giving her a rather tight hug, like she would disappear any second. "it's nice to see a friendly face in this sci-fi spaceship!" she laughed nervously and let go of her friend, trying not to suffocate her. sitting criss-cross before her the woman sighed in annoyance, looking around the cell with an angry gaze. "where do you think those aliens came from?" she questioned, glancing at Skylar briefly, then looking around again. "and what do they want from us?"

she crossed her arms over her chest.

"whatever it is, I don't want part of it!"

"we need to evacuate now, i'll check the forest later for any stragglers, anyone is welcome to join me," the subject announced, her voice deeper and sounded closer to a growl than speech. hastily, the skeletal dog disappeared into the forest, careful to steer clear of the path the black ooze-creature took.

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid transparent; color: white; font-size: 8px; font-family: tahoma; text-transform: lowercase; letter-spacing: 2px; text-align: justify; line-height: 130%;]their dull, lifeless vermillion eyes focused on the corpse which lay on the ground, no emotion present on their face or in their eyes, not even a hint of grief for the one who was lost. a quiet escaped their blackish-blue lips as they closed their eyes, yet another life lost. to everyone else the student appeared not to care, but deep inside, they were fuming. they, for one, weren't about to let the prey become the predator. they were the predator and the humans were their prey, that's how it was meant to be. they were a 'living' Native American legend; they were a wendigo. a fearsome creature with an insatiable hunger for human flesh and blood. they were supposed to be feared, not fearful. with a twitch of their ebony black tail, they began to disperse with the rest of the crowd and headed towards the dorms as well.

as they were walking, they found themselves thinking about being feared. they were already feared by many, especially the human population. "do you really want to be feared, tahki?" another quiet sigh escaped their cold lips as their pace quickened. they didn't want to be feared, but they couldn't change what they were. the thought made them bare their fangs for a few seconds, before flicking her ebony black tongue over their teeth and closing her mouth again, wiping off a few ebony droplets that their tongue flicked on them. the wendigo suddenly tensed up, a sharp pain stabbed through their stomach area, which they quickly fought off. they hadn't eaten in one month, and their hunger pains were getting worse every day. willing themselves to hold out for the remainder of this month the student had finally made their way to their dorm, entering the room. they needed something, something to sate their hunger pains for at least one more week, or until they lost it and went hunting.

after a few minutes of rummaging through cluttered drawers, tahki came across what they were looking for, a small vial with a thick crimson liquid inside of it. the vial contained a small amount of blood, human blood to be exact, from one of their most recent hunts. sprinkling a small amount of the liquid onto their tongue they popped the cap back on and shoved the vial back into the drawer, their hunger sated for now. in reality, they didn't need that much blood to survive, but with a hunger as big as theirs, it was hard not to get carried away. shutting the box-like compartment with their tail the wendigo sat upon their bed with a sigh, running their hand through their hair, making sure not to bump their fingers against the beginnings of their antlers. they were getting bored, and fast. what does a blood-thirsty creature do for fun, anyways?

OOC: Hello! Just a random question, what season is this roleplay taking place in? I would like to know since Tahki sheds their antlers seasonally.[/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid transparent; color: white; font-size: 8px; font-family: tahoma; text-transform: lowercase; letter-spacing: 2px; text-align: justify; line-height: 130%;]the large skeletal canine tore through the forest like a wildfire; the grass under her feet was uprooted and cast aside along with stray logs and other debris. a deep howl escaped her throat as she ran through the forest, nearly forgetting those who she promised not to leave behind. slowing her pace to a rather quick trot the canine passed a few subjects while searching for the edge of the seemingly endless woods, and pausing for a few moments she flicked her tail in the direction she was heading, signaling them to follow her. "we can't rely on the damage done to the vehicles to grant us a safe escape, we must move quickly if we hope to slip away unfollowed," alex bellowed as she walked, careful to stay within hearing distance so they could grasp the idea, and then with a burst of speed she bounded off in the same direction.

her footsteps were light and awkward; it would be easier to follow her path if they created footprints. she wouldn't be able to shake them up, either, her skeletal tails would leave all-too-familiar markings in the soft, upturned earth. the canine was following a scent; a scent so old she almost forgot it. the scent of the city, they'd need to find the thriving civilization first before they found the abandoned one. it was getting stronger and stronger in this direction, she knew it.

then, she tripped over something. with a strangled yelp the canine toppled over and skidded across the dirt; whatever tripped her must have been big. shaking her head with a throaty growl to rid herself of confusion alex slowly refocused her vision, which narrowed in on what tripped her. a body, the one of a subject specifically, one of the subjects who got this far during the last escape plan. alex felt no pity for them, though. however, upon further inspection she realized that they weren't killed by bullets, no, their clothing appeared to be torn apart by claws.

almost as if on cue, a screech echoed off of the trees, bouncing throughout the clearing.

ooc: giving you guys something to build off of :3[/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid transparent; color: white; font-size: 8px; font-family: tahoma; text-transform: lowercase; letter-spacing: 2px; text-align: justify; line-height: 130%;]alex would be tensing if she had muscles and skin covering her skeletal body. something was out here, and she didn't think it was friendly. another screech echoed off of the trees, and everything fell silent. the birds stopped chirping, the leaves stopped whistling, it was like time paused for a few moments. then, something pounced upon her. it was too large to be a woodland creature; it was almost the size of her. barking like a mad dog alex began to thrash around wildly, trying to break free from its claws. the canine then leaped up into the air and knocked the creature free, giving her the chance to take it its appearance. a six-legged lizard with two smaller appendages, which she thought were arms, growing out of its chest. it had three pairs of eyes, including a larger one planted in the center of its forehead. another screech escaped its throat as it hit the ground, this must be the creature.

an angry bark exploded from alex's throat as she stalked towards the creature, she was pissed, royally pissed at that. her gait quickened into a trot, then sprint. she tackled the lizard-like creature from the side, digging her fangs into its soft bluish hide. nothing was getting in her way, nothing. she was going to get away, whether this thing liked it or not. the creature had managed to fling her off and onto the ground, wasting no time in grabbing her and tossing her into a tree, a strangled yelp escaping her lungs on impact.

the creature charged her and sent the two bouncing down a hill, passing a few subjects on the way. alex violently whipped the creature with her three tails as they came crashing down the hill, and tried to get a good grip on its throat.

//changing up alex a bit. her "hellhound" form does have skin and muscle, but they are invisible. it just makes more sense to me. ^ ^

//i will also be making the creature shortly!

//sorry for the quality, i just woke up *yawn intesifies[/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid transparent; color: white; font-size: 8px; font-family: tahoma; text-transform: lowercase; letter-spacing: 2px; text-align: justify; line-height: 130%;]the hellhound's luck had finally run out. she had forgotten about its arms long ago; one surprise blow to the head sent her reeling. a whimper escaped her throat as she hit the ground, hard. the blow had stunned her enough to leave her fighting for focus, giving the creature the perfect opportunity to strike. one good snap of its powerful jaws and one of her legs was put out of commission, a wail of agony piercing the air as she ripped the appendage away. the pain managed to bring her back to reality, though. keeping one foreleg suspended alex snarled angrily, royally pissed was an understatement now. all three tails lashing angrily alex crashed into the creatures blind charge, her force far outdoing its, sending the two backward. teeth snapping wildly she fought against its arms, which had a firm grip on her neck, keeping her away from its neck. the flames shrouding her began to lick at the creatures hide, leaving charred scales behind. she knew it was in pain, its hissing gave it away.

the hellhound then got an idea. one violent whip to the head with one of her tails the creature loosened it grip on her neck, allowing her to reach forward just enough to sink her teeth into its neck. purplish blood began to well up from the wounds as she applied more pressure to her jaws, its screeched slowly gaining volume. however, despite her efforts, she couldn't apply enough force to deliver the killing blow. its hide was tough, too tough. a frustrated growl escaped her throat as she tried to apply even more pressure, her jaw beginning to ache from the force.
