This was the second time he’d made the call, and it was still rather foreign to his mouth. Ah, well, he’d get used to it eventually, wouldn’t he? He’d have to. After all, he wasn’t planning on stepping down from Leader any time soon. Hell, maybe one day he would be the sole Leader of Sunclan, and then he wouldn’t get the weekly break he was meant to get with Jericho and himself alternating. Of course, that alternation wouldn’t be the case this week, for a reason which would be explained in the OOC summary.
”First of all, welcome to all our new joiners! If I haven’t greeted you personally yet, I’m Partyanimal, one of the two Leaders here. I hope to see you around,” he’d begin, once people had begun to gather and he studied all their individual faces. Familiar, unfamiliar, or somewhere inbetween - luckily, most of them were familiar. Not as many as there should be, because his roleplayer’s real life was an ass sometimes and it’d decided to be especially ass lately. ”It looks like people are being more welcoming now, so congratulations and thank you to you all for doing that! Remember to keep it up, of course - making people feel welcomed is key.”
”Our member involvement has been improving, but I’d definitely like to see more,” he’d continue, mouth pursing together slightly as he let that statement sink in. ”Remember, if you have any ideas, any at all - come to the Leaders’ den. Me or Jericho will be sure to be hanging around, there to listen to your plans. Even if you think your idea is small, overdone, whatever - perhaps the other members of the clan can help improve the idea so it’s original and fantastic. Or perhaps you’ll find it’s just as fine as it is.”
”Next up, weekly tasks. Thanks for holding them this week, Suga,” Par would chuff, looking around for the familiar face of his adoptive brother to give him a smile and a nod before continuing. ”As always, we need up to two volunteers for this week. Charlie, would you like to host them? I’ve noticed you’ve asked a few times, but someone else has beat you to hosting them.”
”Now...the Sun Ball is very close to beginning. We’ll be having loads of events, and allies are invited! There will be a Tournament, and if you haven’t signed up already, I strongly encourage you to do so HERE! There’ll also be a Marketplace, as well as loads of other activities that you should all keep an eye out for. There’s also, of course, a ball, and the nominations for king and queen are HERE. Right now, we’re all setting up, so if you haven’t joined in yet, check out HERE!”
”Finally, we have our usual. Promotions, demotions, shoutouts, warnings,” he took in a breath, preparing himself for all of them. The list of promotions was rather big this week, something he was very glad to hear of. ”No titles this week. If you guys ever notice anybody you think deserves a title, please - come to the Leaders’ den and let us know! We do our best to notice everybody, but hearing what our members think is even more helpful. Empresscrown...I’ve seen you around today, but this is the first time I’ve really seen you at all since last meeting, so I’m sorry, but you’re demoted back down to a regular member. You can always work your way back up, though, so don’t worry,” there was a tug of guilt as he gave the bad news - after all, Empy was his daughter. Hopefully she could bounce back with more posts soon. ”On a lighter note, shoutouts and promotions! Shoutout goes to Noelani. Tate, Jade, Kyou, Theo and Ashyn - I’d like all of you to step up to Keeper. And Charlie, I’d like you to step up to Sunguard. Also, Nurse should be holding some medical stuff as he keeps an eye out for a Healer’s apprentice, so keep an eye out for that if you’re interested!”
Was that everything? Hopefully he hadn’t missed anything too important. ”That’s all, folks,” he decided to say, giving a bit of a playful bow and a smile to the clan as he let them take in all the news. ”Dismissed!”
