She was a little late on this weekly task, but now was the perfect time to do it. It seemed everyone had recovered from their raid on the Exiles, and RiverClan had presented themselves as a target. Her original plan wasn't to end up pursuing them, but with what they'd done to Luca she was furious. She'd been tense and snappy all day as she waited until dusk to announce the plan, and finally it was time. "Alright, ShadowClan, over here." She made sure her voice carried, tail lashing as she stood by the camp's exit. "We're launching a raid on RiverClan, now. We've managed to defeat them multiple times in the past, yet they still don't seem to get the fucking memo so I suppose we're going to have to go again. Their leader and warriors seem incompetent as always, so this should be a breeze. There's no real purpose other than to inflict as much damage as possible. Territory-wise or other, I want things destroyed."

Sango really wasn't the most happy-go-lucky person at the moment, with what happened to Xia and Luca she'd been very testy and aggressive, more so than usual. But despite how much she wanted to skip doing this meeting and instead stay fuming in her den, it was something she had to do. So here the hellhound stood atop the amber, as per usual, not bothering to settle herself down this time as she wanted this to be rather swift. "ShadowClan, gather for a meeting."
Without skipping a beat, after calling everyone over she began to speak. "Alright, we have a lot to go over today but we're making this quick. First things first, promotions. Finnegan, Max, and Lua to Duskreachers, while Grady gets bumped up to Duskguard. Shoutouts go to Yuu, Domsalabanton, Micah, Xia, and Luca, keep it up guys. Finnegan can also grab the patriot title, while we're at it."
"Elsa is demoted and Eventide gets a warning."
"Micah is hosting weekly tasks HERE, BloodClan has invited us to a Summer Pool Party which you can find HERE, so be sure to check both of those out. Also, RiverClan decided to be cunts a few days ago, and oh, I don't know, gouge out Luca's fucking eyes, so we're raiding them HERE. We're also encouraging captures of their members, or literally anything you all want to do to get under their skin. So, yeah, go wild with that bit of news."
"That's about it. Unless anyone has anything to say, the meeting is dismissed." -

Sango's dreams were very rarely pleasant anymore, but this one was a nice change to that. Perhaps it was simply from the influence of the others, but she opened her eyes not to find Finch beneath her paws, not to find Chardonnay's ghostly figure hovering in the corner of the room. Instead she was greeted was an achingly familiar smoldering pair of ember eyes staring into her very soul.
Her gaze drifted to the collar around his neck, her collar, the one he'd given her before he'd disappeared for the final time. Why was he wearing it? As far as she remembered it was much too small to fit him, and even if it would fit he'd told her countless time's he didn't like being burdened with objects such as jewelry and other accessories. A spark of curiosity flickered within her eyes as she drew closer, watching the male's form flicker and waver until she got close enough to touch.
Without thinking she reached out only to have him twist into smoke, leaving only the collar behind. For a brief moment she tried to remember if this was how he left, but she soon assured herself this wasn't it. Something was off, but she couldn't quite tell what. Gently holding the studded collar between her teeth, the helllhound would begin making her way down to the others from her den, soon figuring out what exactly was off.
Things were upside down, Micah was... massive, Max was floating and... God, she was floating too. Tightening her grip on the item between her jaws she'd send a rather accusing look towards her son, knowing full well he must have had something to do with.. whatever was going on right now. She would have questioned him, but she wouldn't be able to talk very well around the collar she was holding.

Sango had noticed that recently everyone seemed to be in a bit of a rut. Micah wasn't himself, Luca was fucking blind, RiverClan were being pests, Xia had just lost a litter, and she had been on edge to a ridiculous extent. She was sure everyone would pull through, they always did, so she didn't worry about it too much. She was aware how much a few of her other clan-mates were trying to liven up the place, but in her opinion it did nothing. Things would pass on their own. But she did suppose the concern and attempt was appreciated, just... Not really by her.
One of the people trying to liven things up today was Calina, who had suggested a game of Capture The Flag, something Sango hadn't played in forever. It wasn't a very common game, but it was fun if one where to gather up enough people. It seemed she and one other where the only to arrive so far, though, so they;d just have to wait and see who else showed up. "I'll play," -
snigran wanted to join the fucc squad but she couldnt ecause she was a GOOD MOM.she looekd at mecah and laughed in his dum face as he gave flwer. "fflower is ugky" then calweenie was yeeling at her and she obeye her dauter. "EVRYONE STAYHP!!" ...... "hammur time."
and now luca was depressed he was such a lsoer but she love in anyways. the walk over to him an pat head as he punch boob "am prou d of you sun." -
Sango never quite understood friendship bracelets. They were sort of like laying a claim to someone, weren't they? That was about as much she understood about them, and even then, she didn't understand the idea of spending so much time on a little object that could be destroyed and thrown out so easily. To her it was a waste, but she wasn't going to speak her thoughts on it out loud at the moment. Xia could enjoy making them, even if she didn't quite seem the happiest with the little pile of bracelets beside her.
"Is that Junkrat's?" She was pretty sure she already knew the answer, but she was just trying to start some conversation at this point, not quite wanting to take one of the bracelets and also not quite wanting to totally ignore her daughter. "It doesn't matter, though, I mean, it probably belongs to someone else anyways. He has no boundaries when it comes to stealing things off clan-mates." -
aaa im so ssorry for being inactive guys !! i'll be posting the meeting before i go to sleep tonight and tomorrow i'll do some hella cpr on the boa rd aa

Well, shit. Sango had nearly forgotten about the meeting, again. Maybe she should just start having them whenever, it's not like she really operated on a schedule anyways. What was this, even? Like, three days late? God, she didn't know, but whatever, she remembered now and that was what mattered. Chardonnay had been haunting her more and more often lately and she would barely be able to keep her eyes open if it wasn't for the fear of falling asleep. Giving her head a little shake to wake herself up for a few minutes to give out announcements, she snaked to the top of the amber. "ShadowClan, gather beneath the amber for a meeting."
She paused for a few moments, debating on if she should start trying to apologize for the meeting being late, but decided against it, instead just moving on with announcements. "As always, we've got some promos first. Luca, I've been speaking with Ramsay, and if you'd like you may step up to Shaderunner alongside him. Max, you can grab the Duskguard rank while Yuu gets Duskreacher. As for Micah, you can step up to Nightwatcher. Shoutouts go to Xia and Darkvisions."
"Eventide is demoted while Galleonpaw receives a warning."
"Ramsay is hosting weekly tasks HERE, so be sure to check those out. We currently don't have any ally events going on that I'm aware of, but if something comes up I'll be sure to let you guys know. We're also dropping the Rift as allies, since they haven't reached out to us in over two months, so if someone wants to run off and inform them of that, that would be great. Activity has been kind of shaky the past few days, which is totally understandable. I haven't been around much myself, but I'll be trying my hardest to get back into the swing of things and revive the clan a bit tomorrow with your guy's help. Uh, other than that we don't have much else to go over though."
"So, yeah, that's it. Unless anyone has anything else to add in or say, the meeting is dismissed." -
Using the natural sounds of nature didn't really work when one was manipulating living beings plucked from the very branches in which they stood. Sango would have thought someone like Anakin would be aware of exactly how much noise that would make, especially compared to hellhound's bat-like ears. The buzzing with easy to detect when it came close enough, the the hound's icy gaze would fix in the direction of the nest being hurled towards herself and Luca. The canine sneered, tossing her head as fire began to lick at her paws and travel up her body until she was encased in a coat of light blue flames.
The nest drew closer to it's mark, and Sango would make her move, darting in front of her son to shield him from the swarm of insects with a wall of fire, twisting her head to widen her jaws and spit a burst of flame to engulf what she had missed. A few stray insects were able to escape, of course, but the 'threat' (if one could even call it that) was neutralized."What asshat RiverClanner thought they could throw an actual hive of hornets and not have anyone notice?" She would have guessed Ivylee, with all her inexperience in battle, had she not known the samoyed had fled RiverClan's land a long time ago and likely wouldn't have the balls to touch hornet's nest. "I swear they're devolving or some shit. Maybe it's the waters."
-
Sango's lips curled in distaste the moment she saw him, molten flames bubbling in the back of her throat as the sound of her own growing snarl thrummed in her ears. The canine took her time walking over, curved talons clicking rhythmically against the stone as she came to a stop beside her son. She drew so close she could taste the tension in the air, icy blue eyes narrowed the moment she heard Blackpath speak.
"My apologies, Blackpath is still the local dumbass." She settled herself in a sitting position by her son's side, wrapping her tail around her paws and then taking her time to fix her gaze on the smaller green accented feline before her. Looking at him simply made her sick, not for herself, but for Xia and Calina. He didn't deserve to have his blood running through their veins. They were everything he was not, and he here was, crawling back to see them once again as if his parting hadn't ruined their childhood's, as if he hadn't forced her in her worst time to juggle a broken family, heart, and leadership.
She was disgusted, to say the least, that he had the gall to show up here. She knew how Xia's skin crawled when he was mentioned, she watched Calina's reactions to his name. They were just as angry, if not more. Hell, if she had a reason to be upset with him they had so much more. He'd abandoned them in their time of need, showing up periodically to preach his innocence and pretend as if nothing had happened, as if he'd be forgiven. As if he'd ever be forgiven.
These were not Radio's children, they were hers. He lost his claim to be in their lives the moment he left for the Cartel, 'justified' or not. She would not let him touch them, he didn't deserve to. If he felt the need he could go sob at Setekh's grave or seek out a son or daughter from his first litter, but he would not be coming to her family.
"They don't want to see you." The words were spat quite matter of factly, as if it where the simplest thing in world. Afterall, what about it was hard to understand? An absent father and a broken mother were sure to tear a family apart. Perhaps she'd be able to forgive him if he understood, but no. He still thought he did no wrong, he still thought he deserved them, and if she could, she'd laugh.
"I suggest you go, you are not welcome here. Your presence will do them no good, there is nothing left for someone like you." -
"It's something cats do." Sango supplied as she approached behind her daughters, icy gaze trailing over them before resting on Blackpath. She'd only ever seen felines paw at their muzzle like that, especially Radio and Finch. Whether it was a habit or just instinct, she didn't know, she just knew that felines often did it more so than canines and other creatures.
Sango drew closer to her daughters, lurking behind the two of them rather closer and more protective than usual. Radio's visit had shaken her up a bit, once more forcing her to come to terms with the fact she was all Calina and Xia had, and even then she never have them the motherly attention one would expect. Perhaps she was incapable of it, she couldn't connect with them on that level. She felt an instinct to protect and care for, but beyond that she couldn't grasp the family concept. She'd never been exposed to it herself, she'd seen it on passing, and maybe that was why she wasn't able to properly execute it.
Whatever, though, she didn't need to understand it to know Xia and Calina needed some sort of attention or affection. The canine's movements were awkward as she leaned down to give each of the hellshadow's a hopefully comforting nudge before returning her gaze to Blackpath. -
Honeymoon, marriage, newlyweds. Sango hated those words.
Those were things she had once been promised, not once but twice. Her mind drifted to her engagement gift from Radio,to where it lay buried, broken, and rusted just beyond the southern border, thrown and destroyed in a fit of rage shortly after he had left. She used to find herself thinking about him, but not anymore. She was a second choice to Setekh, that was all.
"No." She didn't bother to greet the pair, immediately set off by the simple mention of marriage or honeymoon near her. "Not here." Her body was tense, movements stiff as she found a place beside Luca. "Anywhere else, but not here." Her tone was firm despite the underlying desperation, stomach twisting as she struggled to keep her cool. Perhaps she'd have been more easy going when it came to making a decision had she not seen the very man that left her mere days ago, but that was not the case. -
He ignored her - she didn't know what else she expected. A sour expression crossed the hellhound's face as he brushed away her words to instead speak to Xia and Calina, which she didn't much like. He didn't deserve to talk to them, he was never there for them. Then again, neither was she. Physically she'd be close by, but mentally she'd been worlds away. And of course he wasn't going to stay in ShadowClan, he couldn't keep his heart in one place.
A sudden urge swept over her, the urge to draw Xia and Calina in as close to her as possible like when they were pups. She struggled with the feeling for a few long, silent moments, busying herself by tapping the tip of her tail against the ground. She could feel the tension radiating off of the siblings, and something told her to calm it but she didn't know how. This frustrated her to no end as she dug her claws into the damp soil as they finished speaking.
Suddenly stumbling backwards, the ebony canine would regain her balance before turning around. "I'll be at home." She said the words not to Radio but to Xia and Calina, inclining her head briefly to the two before she slunk away, finding she could no longer standby being so unaware of how to properly react. -
As Sango approached the growing group around Micah, she could only quirk a fictional brow in confusion. Why? What was the point of painting nails? Sooner or later the polish would wear off or something, so just, why bother? Drawing close to the scene the hellhound would tap her tail against the ground idly before settling herself to observe with a questioning expression.

Sango had a hard time registering the hushed words that flowed from Yuri's mouth, ears flattening in frustration as she shifted her weight uneasily. She averted her gaze from the male before her, trying to focus on anything else as she took in a sharp breath. She couldn't let this happen again, she couldn't lose control like she did with Fortinbras and Finch.
It took a few long moments of silence before she was able to look the feline before her in the eyes and formulate a reasonable response. He said things were bad in ColouredClan, how bad? Why did he choose ShadowClan of all places? It wasn't like he knew what her reaction would be, it was an accident, but it still upset her. Did he know Radio had come by only a day ago to just pretend she didn't even exist? Did he honestly trust her enough to come here in his time of need?
Another minute of silence, "Fine. Just don't..." Don't what? Show affection on your honeymoon? That was fucking stupid. "Cause any trouble." There, that sounded better. Leaning back slightly the hellhound would eye the paw offered to her by Yuri, realizing she was probably supposed to do something with it. He'd done the same thing last time they met, and she still didn't understand the purpose of it.
Once more she brushed the gesture off with a confused expression, speaking again to try to clear the tension that had been radiating off of her. "It's uh, nice to see you though." -
oh god i have so many sango fun facts
- sango can be set off by numerous random events, phrases, objects, and forms, her reactions differing depending on what she is exposed to. the best example i can give is what happened recently when yuri mentioned newlyweds/honeymoons where she was thrown in a rather mild panic
- as punishment for being greedy in the underworld and devouring trapped souls for power, sango was denied access to the only place she could ever truly call home
- sango doesn't understand certain phrases and gestures and needs to have them explained to her, she usually learns mortal body language and slang through imitation
- over the years sango has been losing her sense of sight and it will continue degrading over time as she begins to depend on heat signatures, much like a snake
- sango's lack of a true maternal instinct may stem from the fact that she was not 'born' and thus knew no parents, she was created via natural merging of multiple weaker souls into a flesh form while in the underworld
- sango has a 'feral' form which i am still sketching out, once i finish it i'll have her discover the form during a stressful/emotional period and have her attempt to understand and control it's coming and going from then on
- being a hellhound/demon sango can be severely injured when coming in contact with holy creatures/ground/objects and she can be immobilized using certain spells, which is why she grew increasingly uncomfortable with dean winchester when he resided in shadowclan to the point where when he figured out her weakness and tried to trap her she banished him from coming back as long as she held control of the territory
- before sango understood how to control some of her many damned souls, she wreaked havoc in the form of a lust demon with that soul being the most powerful of those that made up her form. sango spend the bulk of her time in the exiles, feeding the demon unaware of the toll it was taking on her physical body. when she fled to shadowclan to escape the exiles she was unable to continue feeding the soul, and while it had short-term side effects such as increased irritability and what not she was able to successfully force that piece of herself into oblivion.
- that all being said, when her time as a lust demon is brought up sango gets incredibly defense and unstable. while she feels guilty and ashamed of her actions, she doesn't understand the feeling or how to apologize and she deals with it the only way she knows how, with violence
