Teria, a small human girl around 11 years old watched the starships above her fire at each other, green and red flak bashing into the hull of each. Rebel soldiers ran past her on the streets towards the towering white armored soldiers. She had just been born the first time the Imperials attacked Alderaan, but they had never come to the ground. All she could make of the battle was the distant flashes in the sky. This time however, it was as if there was no sky. The immense star destroyer blocked it out with its sheer size, casting a shadow over the entire city. They were after the princess, she knew that. Why not today? he asked himself, running out of his home to find a rebel squadron that needed his help. The man quickly found one and fired at the group of stormtroopers they were engaged with from an alleyway. He managed to hit one in the shoulder, which phased the masked figure but not enough to do significant damage. The trooper he hit turned in his direction and fired at him. "There's a civilian over there!" shouted one of the rebel troopers. "Not just a civilian, your equal," he muttered to himself. He continued firing at the squad of stormtroopers before one blaster bolt went through his side. Deron let out a cry of pain and fell backwards. He kept reassuring himself as he slowly bled out in the alley that he had done everything he could to help and that it somehow made a difference...
