OOC: I wanna roleplay and the plot hasn't introduced my character yet, so random far off living of my character real quick woo

IC: Narisa stood up, dusting the sand off herself before leaving the beach. She made her way into town, weaving her way in and out of the tan natives of Iloh and occasional aliens to get to the quiet street where her apartment was located. The building was simple; its exterior was painted a shade of white and each door was painted a different more bright color to add a little pop. The Pantoran climbed two flights of stairs before reaching her apartment, which was marked by an emerald green that reminded her of the mountain forests of Alderaan. Her neighbors, a family of Togrutas with two young children, exited their home just as she was entering the access code of her own door. They were carrying towels and the like, so she assumed they were heading to the place she just left. Narisa gave them a small greeting before entering her apartment. Her living space was small, yet comfortable, decorated by a few bookshelves and a number of potted plants. She entered her bedroom located just behind the kitchen and fell backwards onto the bed, staring at the ceiling. Her yellow eyes closed as she tried to force out the thoughts of home and her old friends, especially Princess Leia. All of it was too much a reminder of the death of her father. Ten years had passed since that tragic day, and she couldn't seem to escape it. This fact angered her. She just wanted to leave it all behind and start over but how could she when everything reminded her of home?

SilentSky's tail flicked with impatience. She was ready for patrols to be sent out and the day to start, but the camp seemed to be at a standstill. The brown she-cat sighed and rolled onto her back, enjoying what warm rays of leaf-bare sun she could.

OOC: If you haven't already, please start tracking the chat thread! The link is in the first post. We can discuss plot ideas there if yall want or we can wait for everyone to join in on the roleplay.

IC: The ginger furred guardian, MoonGaze, opened her eyes to the sunrise occurring above her head. She blinked sleep out of her eyes and smiled at the sky. She enjoyed the open roofs of the dens, for the stars always fascinated her. Hungry, MoonGaze made her way over to the fresh-kill pile and selected a glow fish from the top. She gave a cheerful good morning to Oceaneyes and Briarleap and began to eat.

Flame Song exited the den he shared with the warriors and charters, glancing around to see if his sister was awake yet. Coming to the conclusion that she wasn't, he looked to see who else was instead. He spotted Oceaneyes, his fellow charter, and moved to sit next to her. "How's that artling?" he asked, flashing her a smile. He wasn't particularly hungry yet, so he made no move to pick through the fresh-kill pile for breakfast.

Teria, a small human girl around 11 years old watched the starships above her fire at each other, green and red flak bashing into the hull of each. Rebel soldiers ran past her on the streets towards the towering white armored soldiers. She had just been born the first time the Imperials attacked Alderaan, but they had never come to the ground. All she could make of the battle was the distant flashes in the sky. This time however, it was as if there was no sky. The immense star destroyer blocked it out with its sheer size, casting a shadow over the entire city. They were after the princess, she knew that. There was no other possible reason the empire could be here. She wandered away from her home, which had been destroyed by one of the boulders that fell from the mountain the star destroyer had blasted. Teria didn't know where to go from here. Without realizing, she stumbled into the path of an oncoming rebel squadron. A male Twi'Lek ran into the little girl accidentally, knocking her on her back. He quickly apologized and picked her back up on her feet. "You should wa-." The pale orange rebel's sentence was cut off as a blaster bolt went through his chest. Teria screamed, whipping around to see a group of stormtroopers standing about a hundred yards away, firing at the squad of rebel fighters. The little girl ran off in the opposite direction as fast as she could, taking cover in an abandoned shop and helplessly watched the battle rage on.

Deron Feraley grabbed the DH-17 he kept in a drawer in his room. He was 22 years old and eager to help the rebellion. His intention was to join their ranks, and he was planning on doing this soon. Why not today? he asked himself, running out of his home to find a rebel squadron that needed his help. The man quickly found one and fired at the group of stormtroopers they were engaged with from an alleyway. He managed to hit one in the shoulder, which phased the masked figure but not enough to do significant damage. The trooper he hit turned in his direction and fired at him. "There's a civilian over there!" shouted one of the rebel troopers. "Not just a civilian, your equal," he muttered to himself. He continued firing at the squad of stormtroopers before one blaster bolt went through his side. Deron let out a cry of pain and fell backwards. He kept reassuring himself as he slowly bled out in the alley that he had done everything he could to help and that it somehow made a difference...

SilentSky made her way over to the rock where Mistystar stood. She swiveled her small head around to find Goldspots. "Bronzepelt and Jaypaw still aren't back yet," she said to the tom. "I saw them leave the camp earlier."

"I would if Mistystar wasn't on the meeting rock, but since she is I feel like it's rude," SilentSky remarked. She personally felt it necessary that every cat witnessed the meetings. They weren't called for Mistystar to just sit and chat with the clan after all. Her ears twitched as she thought, looking back at the entrance of the camp to see if the duo would magically appear.

FlameSong laughed as well. "I would be delighted to if I were hungry enough. I'm feeling quite the contrary, however," he replied, looking towards the sun which was rising on the open Ilayan (how you would describe things from Ilayoh I guess, I just came up with it) horizon. He could see the silhouettes of a few Lumi Trees standing off in the distance and a yanno which ascended higher and higher into the morning sky. "What did you think of the Fire Cloud last night?" he inquired before continuing. "It was rather bright. Brighter than usual in my opinion."

Narisa felt uncomfortable. She knew something was wrong; she could feel it. She just couldn't pinpoint what it was. The Pantoran ran her hands through her pink hair in a sort of distress. She needed to know what was wrong. Maybe it was nothing. The memory of her father and Leia on her birthday probably just made her uneasy. The thought was no consolidation, but it caused her nervous pacing to slow a bit.

SilentSky's ears perked up, turning to her companion and smiling at him. She thought Goldspots was an exceptional choice for deputy. He certainly was fitting for the role.
