This time, however, instead of mindless meandering, the scarf-adorned feline was actually thinking- thinking about all the fresh faces they were meeting, and the familiar ones that became more so with each passing day and how they, the independent, completely-and-totally self-reliant bamf ninja, was becoming soft, and was developing a weakness of sorts to those aforementioned faces of their clan...

...and how maybe that wasn't such a bad thing, as they had thought prior.

But these thoughts would soon prove to be Shiina's weakness: as the red-eyed warrior was caught in flurry of blissful and warm thoughts, they advanced unknowingly towards a pond fed by fairly small waterfall, and before they had time to a double take on the scene before them, the female stepped onto the thin air above the small pool and tumbled head-first into the water.

Having felt something in the water as they fell in, Shiina at back on their haunches and lifted up their front paws, commanding them to glow. Ever so slowly, the pads of their paws began to glow an eerie red, revealing underneath the water's cold blanket... a school of koi fish!
The feline gasped with excitement and called out to their clanmates, "Hey guys!!! Look what I found!"
Shiina froze, heat rushing to their face, as they realized what they had done: the feline had let their walls down, and, even thought it was for only a moment, it was a mistake.
And, to them, a huge one at that.
