"Thanks, though." it would be absolutely horrendous for bub to be a tsundere right now, especially whenever he freaked out like a kit at a harmless butterfly.

The bengal padded over to a stream quietly, pouch full of herbs in tow, and bent down to get a quick drink so he wouldn't dehydrate. Yeah, like that'd be the last of worries.

The only reason he was doing this godawful labor was to expand the stockpile of herbs and whatever, not to be attacked by random flying insects and to be disturbed by everyone in the clan! Bubonicplague let out a huff of air to calm himself down internally and looked over at Mildheart with an annoyed, tired face. "Don't apologize, I had it all under control." That's good Bub, play it smooth and not act like you were screaming like a young child only a few moments before.

In reality, there wasn't a whole lot he could do because Bubonicplague was rather weak and inexperienced with fighting. After seeing it was just Mildheart, Bubonicplague rolled his vibrant green eyes and flopped back down. "Pffft, what? Who does stupid stuff like that anymore?" Bub really did try hard to hide the fact he was being serene for a good moment so he could keep up the cold shell that was his persona to everyone else.
