His journey had been awfully short, and he had grown bored with jumping from clan to clan. He made himself at home in a smaller clan, the Garden, and had decided on a whim that he should rejoin SunClan. He had particularly enjoyed his time here the first time he joined even though he couldn't say he expected people to immediately know who he was or even care if he was back. He wouldn't be surprised if he didn't. He did wonder how the war with DarkClan was going. Were DarkClan getting their asses handed to like they deserved? Was SunClan having trouble with any other groups? He hadn't heard anything from SunClan since he left and he would be lying if he said he didn't care for the clan. The place had been his first home when he found the courage within himself to join another clan.

He had found what he needed in BloodClan and he was almost done with his exorcist training in PhantomClan though he could stand to learn a few more things before officially kicking off his exorcism career to help Misuto and, like he had promised, was back to join SunClan once more. He wondered how much had changed... hopefully not too much. He, however, did change. In appearance and only slightly in personality. He was more impatient with other people, a tad bit more cold and snappish. He realized he had to strip away everything everyone knew about him so he had to build himself up from the bottom up. He had no qualms with doing that, only if it helped him hide away for just a little while longer... His fur color was significantly different and he had even acquired a third tail. His eyes were no longer that tranquil rosy red they had once been. Now they were the color of liquid gold, vibrant and hardened with indifference.

Jeez. He had even changed his name.

Jinya rolled his slim shoulders. They were sore from him having to walk around all day, and while he was tired and grumpy he still upheld that calm expression. "It's Aru Akise, but I'm now called Jinya. I've returned and I would like to join, again."

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 420px; overflow: auto; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify; color: silver; font-family: georgia;]Woo, so I'm done with finalizing this guy's profile. Would anyone like a thread with Jinya?

aa i regrettably pulled an all-nighter the other day and i slept half of my day off today and got absolutely nothing done except for sprucing up this boy's profile. kinda sad atm because me and a friend had an argument and i'm using this sadness for muse.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 420px; overflow: auto; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify; color: silver; font-family: georgia;]Aha, it happens from time to time and we also have a very unhealthy friendship but we still love each other so it's likely we'll make up in a few days :^))

Jinya hated the admit that he had made a wrong turn, but this was just fucking ridiculous. Excuse my French, but there really was no other way to describe the amount of annoyance the boy held. He had gotten lost following that familiar tugging at his heart that always seemed to lead him places but now he was painfully lost. He had a similar problem when he was trying to find PhantomClan for the first time and had asked a loner for directions but had ended up getting lost in the process because the damn fool didn't give enough details. Though, Jinya did suppose it was his own fault for getting lost out here in the first place...

"Graah!" The black kitsune kicked at a tree beside him with his hind leg, a huff of irritation leaving him as he stalked forward. There were clouds circling about in the skies, dark and ominous, and the humidity was making his fur frizzle up much to his annoyance. Lightning streaked across the dark skies and Jinya had only taken a mild notice to this. He hated lightning. He had been struck by lightning once and it left his entire left leg paralyzed for months with a hideous burn mark to remind him further of it. He had been lucky enough to get a new body so that he wouldn't be any more useless than he thought he already was and he certainly didn't want it to happen a second time as it was frustrating enough to go through being paralyzed once already. So, Jinya hurried along, trying to find some place where he could settle down until it got a bit more calmer...

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 420px; overflow: auto; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify; color: silver; font-family: georgia;]Ah, three faces and out of all of them he dd not recognize a single one. Jinya held back a sigh as he shifted, seemingly put off by the three unfamiliar faces that had come to greet him and welcome him back into SunClan. His gaze shifted from left to right, never quite meeting their eyes and focused instead on the scenery just behind their heads. He hated himself for being so fucking uncomfortable around people. He couldn't do much about his paranoia, though. The Xerses boy swallowed and nodded his head slightly, saying in a surprisingly even tone despite his arising anxiety, "Yeah, thanks for the welcomes. Uh... and I think I'm good. I just need some sleep. I traveled a lot today and I'm tired." Jinya fluttered his oddly elongated ears as he licked his lips. He had no problem with not being recognized, as said before he wouldn't be surprised, but he just hoped not too many other faces popped up here. He didn't need his rejoining to become a sudden meet and greet. Gods, he hated attending those things and he tried to avoid them like the plague if at all possible.

The ebony kitsune cleared his throat, now shifting his golden gaze towards a tree that seemed to pique his interest suddenly. "Nice to meet you all." Bah, pleasantries. He hated them when they weren't required but he didn't want to seem like a jackass right away to these people whom he didn't even know.

"Holy fuck, calm down. Jesus." Yosafire had nearly given him a heartattack when she arrived. The boy huffed in annoyance, sending the demon a soft glare before he shook his head. "Yeah, nice to meet you. 'M name's Jinya Xerses if you missed it." He actually remembered seeing Yosa around before leaving, but he had never interacted with her one-on-one. And he didn't intend on doing so anytime soon either. She was far too happy for him.

Maybe something between these two? Most of Jinya's up to date information is in his spoiler, if you want to do anything with that. Jinya actually remembers Elvis kind of (he use to go by Aru, if you remember him) but he kind of hates ThunderClan now because of they hadn't helped him when they needed them. So, if they meet he may be a tad bit rude to Elvis.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 420px; overflow: auto; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify; color: silver; font-family: georgia;]Pft, he should flirt with Jinya it'll be hilarious because he'll be extremely flustered and wouldn't know what the hell to do other than try to insult him.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 420px; overflow: auto; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify; color: silver; font-family: georgia;]Psst, Jinya is Aru but with a different name now.
He hates TC now because they didn't help him with his problem when he asked them to so yeah. If him and Zjarr meet, he'll be fairly rude most of the time.

    APPEARANCE

But I must explain to you how all this mistaken idea of denouncing pleasure and praising pain was born and I will give you a complete account of the system, and expound the actual teachings of the great explorer of the truth, the master-builder of human happiness. No one rejects, dislikes, or avoids pleasure itself, because it is pleasure, but because those who do not know how to pursue pleasure rationally encounter consequences that are extremely painful. Nor again is there anyone who loves or pursues or desires to obtain pain of itself, because it is pain, but because occasionally circumstances occur in which toil and pain can procure him some great pleasure. To take a trivial example, which of us ever undertakes laborious physical exercise, except to obtain some advantage from it? But who has any right to find fault with a man who chooses to enjoy a pleasure that has no annoying consequences, or one who avoids a pain that produces no resultant pleasure?

On the other hand, we denounce with righteous indignation and dislike men who are so beguiled and demoralized by the charms of pleasure of the moment, so blinded by desire, that they cannot foresee the pain and trouble that are bound to ensue; and equal blame belongs to those who fail in their duty through weakness of will, which is the same as saying through shrinking from toil and pain. These cases are perfectly simple and easy to distinguish. In a free hour, when our power of choice is untrammelled and when nothing prevents our being able to do what we like best, every pleasure is to be welcomed and every pain avoided. But in certain circumstances and owing to the claims of duty or the obligations of business it will frequently occur that pleasures have to be repudiated and annoyances accepted. The wise man therefore always holds in these matters to this principle of selection: he rejects pleasures to secure other greater pleasures, or else he endures pains to avoid worse pains.

    JINYA XERSES OPINIONS

    Misuto Kiriya
Jinya shifts and looks up at you, gaze turning hard when you say his name. "You don't have any right to say his name so casually as if you were the best of friends with him." He snapped and his words surprised you mildly, making your eyes widen slightly. Jinya falters and looks off to the side, sighing heavily as he shook his head. After a moment, he looked back at you and you notice his eyes had softened a tiny bit. "S...Sorry about that. It's just that... I miss Misuto. He was my partner back then and we got into a whole lot of shit together and had all kinds of crazy shit happen to us. I was a detective, he was an exorcist... we kind of made a badass team together but..." Jinya's gaze darkened. "He's dead now. Don't ask me about him again." His tails lashed behind him and his gaze turned cold again. "Next person."
