Though he seemed nervous at her sudden confidence he soon forgot it as she drew into a constructive conversation on past lovers and the like. He seemed to have plenty to woe about and Addy listed off her own tragic tale of loving a show cat who wouldn't reciprocate her affections due to her mixed roots as a moggy.
He tittered in sympathy and gave her comforting look and they continued on, seeming to closely bond. It was hard not believe everything Adrian said, it was hard to fathom this all a spiel to have a little fun.

Having not eaten in a while it was too tempting to turn down and besides, she was bonding with her clan's second! That was hardly a crime.
