Shade returned from the medicine den. He sat right near the kits and Ice, helping watch over them. "Dawnfrost was hurt bad. I don't know how. How is everything here?" The kits looked fine, they were already growing so big. "Thanks for the food, Storm."

Shade waited to make sure his family and clanmates weren't hungry first.

ooc: Cool =) but you don't have to worry about a bio in this clan, we play without'em unless you just want to make one ^_^ But yeah it looks realistic to me.

ic: "You hungry?" Shade looked at Dagger, knowing that the kit was temperamental; and he seemed a little out of sorts right now. Well, a lot had happened.

Shade had headed back out to hunt. He'd been gone a while...finally came back with a rabbit, and then, a squirrel.

"Hey guys! I'm back! How is everyone?"

"..Anyone here?" Shade looked around at camp. He took a bite out of the rabbit. It was good.

Shade laughed and let her jump all over him. "Hah! I just brought one back, you guys can dig right in."

"Hey Ice!" called Shade when he saw his mate wake up from a well-earnt nap. "I brought back rabbit and squirrel!" He decided to re-announce his hunting triumphs. He would've greeted her better, but there was a kit climbing all over him.

"Wasn't he here with your mother?" said Shade. "THORNKIT?" he yowled.

"Oh good." Shade breathed out. "Got nervous there. Uh, hi Thornkit."

"Well, we got rabbit and squirrel when he gets up." Shade lay down on his side.

Shade purred. "Awww. I love you," he whispered to his mate, in the softest of purrs between them only. He closed his eyes just to experience her touch and scent, and the patchy spring sun warming his black coat.

Shade opened his eyes a little, still purring. "Hi," he said as the two walked out of the woods.

"Oooh, good catches," said Shade. "I've been having much better luck too since the weather warmed up."

Shade started giggling. Dagger could always be relied on to provide a laugh. He liked the kit, he'd liked him from the beginning.

Shade laughed. "You have a great imagination, guys. Frost, you can go ahead and tell a story, anyone can."

"Frost has done a lot for being so little," said Shade. He had thought she was younger than she was, all this time, due to her size.

Shade grinned. "Sure Mist. You can. And Frost, things weren't always calm. Back a long time ago, they were pretty terrible."

"There's a lot of danger out there," said Shade.

Shade went to check on Ice. She was still sleeping, so he kissed her ear and stepped back out to continue watching the kits and the camp.

"Mist, be gentle," said Shade, "And Wild was no hero. She killed me, tried to and nearly killed Frost. I only came back because I had a life to spare. Wild...well, she just went crazy in the end I think. It was sad."

He stepped over to where Ice had sheltered the new kit. "Aww. The poor thing."
