ooc: Be nice :P

ic: Shade blinked his eyes quickly, trying not to cry.

"Ice?" Shade rounded and sprinted back to the den. Was his mate kitting? He arrived. "Ice, I heard you, you okay? Are the kits...?"

"Uh...Okay! Uh, uh, I'm right here...uh..." Shade tried to stay calm. "Just...relax and..let them come..."

ooc: I forget what she looks like again. What does Ice look like? Shade's all black.

ooc: Which one--blue or black? :P Either way--the kits in this case will be solid blue, or black, nothing else, as neither of them have any white on them and neither are tabbies.

ic:

Shade groomed her to help calm her down. "It's going to be okay."

"Are you...feeling like they're about to start coming out?" Shade gulped.

"Just relax." Shade was feeling dizzy with worry. "It'll be okay. I'm right here for you. I love you."

ooc: Yes, if she doesn't return. If they come back we'd just have 2 medicine cats. XD

ic: "Okay...um..Push!" said Shade.

"...Storm!" cried Shade, glancing outside. "You came in at a...uh...kind of awkward time but welcome back!"

ooc: The kits would be solids, there is no way they can have a pattern. Neither parent does. UNLESS you wanted colourpoints? They could do that, solid colourpoint--seal or blue :)

ic: "I think one's coming!" said Shade.

"Okay." Shade did his best to nip the thin slimy sack away and groom the kit.

ooc:Is the kit black, grey, or colourpoint? If colourpoint it'd be born beige all over and slowly darken over the moons.

"I'd love to but uh my mate's having kits--right now, she's giving birth!" There was some panic in Shade's voice. Of course he was worried. His mate was in labour, right now and he was licking the first kit clean.

Shade used his front paw to push Dagger and the mess away. "Dagger, stay out of the nest please." His tail lashed. He didn't want the older kits anywhere near his newborns--they might hurt them. "Okay good, Storm, thanks. I don't know what's going on out there and I'm only one cat."

"Frost! Oh my god, look at you. Oh my god," said Shade. "We need a medicine cat!" Now he had two things to panic about.

"...That's my daughter," Shade said softly as the newborn drank up her first meal.

"They came from Ice," purred Shade, who had not seen the spirit. "Ice, they're beautiful. Frost, just rest, where's Spicepaw, where's a medicine cat? You need help."

Shade himself was ready to drop. He was exhausted.

ooc: He's exhausted also because before this he was just in a battle. :P Then the birthing. Panicking in and of itself is exhausting, then he sees Frost's injury, Storm returns too. So, some good some bad, but it all together can prove to be a big drain on energy. :)

ic: Shade was helping clean up the other three kits now.

Shade had gone hunting for his mate and kits. He returned with a nice plump, if young and rather small, rabbit for her. "Ice, I brought you something! How are you?"

ooc: Let's have one kit per player, since they're precious few and g6 kits too so may actually be valuable to some who want that badge. I'll play one if all 4 are not yet taken.

ic:
"What's going on out there?" Shade stepped out of the den to see Dawnfrost. "Oh! What happened! We need a medicine cat!"

ooc: Welcome to Funclan, and yes you may have a kit :) It'd be black or grey kit.

ic: Shade helped Dawn into the medicine den. "Stay here--I'll go get some leaves or something to stop the bleeding." He raced back out.

ooc: That'd be fine by me :)
