"Why are you here?" said Shade. "Answer quick before we attack. We'll give you a chance to explain yourselves."

Shade leapt full on at Wild. He let out a ear piercing yowl and his teeth bared and his ears laid back. He tried to claw the enemy's eyes out and rip his muzzle to shreds.
-
"YES help me! There are others!" cried Shade as he fought Wild. There were six of them! "Get the kits out of here!"
-
ooc: I don't pre-plan plots. If he loses a life, he loses a life, and I should add, your cats here {except for Wild} are NPCs and I can at any moment call godmoding on it and disallow their involvement. They're useful to the plot right now so I am okay with it. If the battle goes that way, he can lose a life :) I just cannot determine it before it happens.
ic: Shade took the swat on the shoulder and felt the claws rip into his flesh. He barrelled forwards again with a quick claw assault at her face.
-
Shade was unbalanced and rolled to his side, kicking and clawing at Wild with all four paws. He was long and tall, but he didn't have much weight.
-
Shade brought his hind legs up in front of him, yowling too hard to hear anything she might've whispered. He lacked out to rabbit-kick her as hard as he could in the gut. He felt her teeth bite into the skin of his neck, getting past his claws, suddenly he was very scared...
-
Shade rolled onto his feet, blood trickling down from the side of his neck. He knew he had been badly hurt and already he felt dizzy. He faced his enemy, lunging for her again while she was aiming towards him. This time he aimed his teeth at her neck.
-
It was then that Shade passed out. He didn't know that in fact, he had died...
-
Shade opened his eyes, and realised he was not where he had been. He was standing on a starry hill, and a cat who had once spoken to him here in Starclan stepped forward, stars in her brown tabby pelt.
"My child. Be careful. You have lost a life; return and fight well."
-
Shade had come back to life and lunged forward at Wild with fresh energy. "You already did that!" He rocked forward and sprang at her with deadly intent. He aimed a bite at her throat.
-
Shade felt the claws lash his face. He struck back out with his own back at the enemy Tom. "Get out of here all of you if you want your lives! You're all our enemies!". Like he would take chances with the safety of his clan and pregnant mate?
-
Shade lunged towards Wild to finish off the job and kill her quickly, with a bite to the neck. He would end this.
-
Ooc: But. Shade didn't know that. I can't make him act on things he doesn't know about. Still, let's see what happens.
Ic. "You're SORRY?" Shade yowled in shock.
-
"What! Prove it." Shade growled. Was this cat that desperate to redeem herself? She'd tried to take over his clan by killing him. They'd fought back, and proved to be more challenging than she'd anticipated. "You kill me and now call yourself a hero?" He lashed his tail.
-
Shade shook his head, "no, I didn't see it." Why hadn't he finished her off? Maybe he wanted to believe her--badly. He didn't like to think she'd deliberately hurt him. She had once been his friend.
-
"It won't die," said Shade. "I'd die before my clan died. Unless you mean whatever rogues you were in cahoots with?" He was still trying to sort things out, and now he hoped she didn't die.
-
Shade stared at her and was shaken. "I forgive you." He said it without hesitation.
-
"Wild..." Shade reached his paw towards her. He poked her shoulder.
-
ooc: Sure :)
ic: Shade sat there, before the fallen she-cat, wishing strongly for something he didn't know what. "Why....Why?"
ooc: The kits are beyond due. Can Ice have them soon?
-
"She's gone," said Shade. "It's too late."
