Talonspark sobered, his good mood disappearing momentarily as his fiery eyes turned back to Sunfire. "You talk to me like a gossiping apprentice," he muttered, frowning. Then he sighed nodding slightly. Sunfire would have to have his word before Talonspark was told anything, he knew that. "Don't worry. I'm not going to breathe a word of it to anyone. Besides, I've yet to forge any type of trust with this clan yet." And I just found you, what makes you think I'd jeopardize your place here?

Talonspark stared at him, face blank as he searched Sunfire's eyes for any sign of humor. Why would he joke about this? Talonspark mulled over this in shock for a few moments in silence. "The...deputy?" His voice was full of exasperation. Sworn enemies of their clan, Talonspark had learned to despise LakeClan. Many battles between the two had been the stories he was told in the nursery. To think Appleswipe, the best hunter and quite famous for her skill, had been mates with their deputy was bewildering. Now he was even more eager to meet these kits. Talonspark took a deep breath and released it slowly, blinking. "I certainly wasn't expecting that of her, but I guess it doesn't matter now, does it? They're no longer our enemies. We live here now."
-
Talonspark blinked at him. "They know about me?" He grinned to himself, a purr rising in his throat. "I'd love to meet the little squirts," he meowed excitedly, tail waving back and forth as he stood and stretched before taking a few steps towards the entrance. "You'll have to point them out to me, though."
((OOC: Short. :I I'll make the next one count.))
-
Talonspark smiled as the little tortoiseshell tom-kit saw Sunfire and started bounding towards them. "You came justa gettin' it, didn't you?" Bumping Sunfire good-naturedly, he blinked down at Otterkit. "Ah, can't be so bad having someone look up to you like that," Talonspark purred quietly. Then he crouched to be level with Otterkit, grinning at the youngster. "So you're Otterkit, huh? Well I'm Talonspark, greatest warrior there ever was. I think you might know me?" Talonspark glanced back behind the dark tom at who he presumed was Silverkit, wondering if she was a little less bouncy than her brother or just not as quick to greet strangers.
-
Talonspark glanced at Sunfire's ruffled expression, a smirk curling his muzzle. "Don't listen to them, squirt." Then he sat back on his haunches glancing down at Otterpaw with a lazy smile. "But I'll tell you this; a coven of badgers, no. But a full grown fox? Eeeeh, maybe." He poked Sunfire with a paw, shaking his head. "I doubt Sunny here has ever even seen a fox, let alone sent that one packing like I did." He stretched and laid down, paws sprawled out before him. "Stick with me, kid, and I'll teach you to do the same," he offered, winking at Otterpaw. In reality, that thing had chased him up a tree and, being a horrible climber, Talonspark had slept there for nearly two days before the vixen left him alone.

Cloudpaw shook his head, but inched close to his sister and leaned against her while he continued to fight for air. No, he wasn't going to the medicine cat. Everyone in the clan would know about this stupid fit by sundown if he did that. Eventually the constriction in his lungs subsided and he was able to take a full, refreshing breath of air, though he was tired. He stood shakily but with a defiant expression and huffed, glancing at his big sister. "I'm fine," he muttered, blue eyes on the ground.
Talonspark gave a mrrow of laughter at Sunfire's hiss. This was all too much fun. He sighed, sensing that same 'belonging' feel in his gut again. It had been a long time since he had belonged anywhere, or to anyone. Had he ever been someone's? Been their Talonspark? The idea seemed silly when he was a kit, but he realized now that it wasn't so bad to be the other half of something bigger than yourself. Amber eyes somber, Talonspark watched the two kits at his feet whisper to each other for a moment. Silverkit seemed much more level-headed and calm than her brother. He imagined she would make a fine warrior like her mother. Otterpaw definitely had potential, and he obviously looked up to Sunfire quite a bit. He'd just need to slow down some. Talonspark resurfaced from his thoughts at the sound of his name. "Co-mentors? I'm not sure what Shatteredstar would say about that but we can work something out, squirt. Let's not get ahead of ourselves, though. Trust me when I say you'll be missing these days in the nursery with your mother and sister."

OOC: I can't draw fighting scenes xD
((OOC: Pffff me neither don't worry. ;3;))
-
Talonspark smirked and chuckled as he listened to Otterpaw, glancing Sunfire's way. He then tipped his chin up slightly, winking at Otterpaw. "You're right. I've never seen Sunfire once with a she-cat. He's got to learn to sweet-talk them. That barbed tongue of his has no place in a game of romance." He bumped Sunfire with his shoulder. "But you think you're too good for a she-cat, dont'cha?"Cloudpaw huffed, muttering something like 'I gotta go' before turning tail and padding away from his sister. He glanced around, wondering where his mentor was. Cloudpaw's icy gaze caught on Sunfire, Otterpaw and the new guy, who's name he didn't know yet. Where was Silverkit? He stopped and studied the cats in the cave. Few were inside during the evening like this. Why am I still in here? Cloudpaw frowned, deciding to continue looking for the she-cat, not bothering to question his motive.

OOC: Me and Star are plotting.
((OOC: If this plays out how I'm expecting it to, Summer will be pleased. >:3 We've had some plans of our own.))
Talonspark snorted opening his mouth to say something before Sunfire got his hopes up but the scarlet-hued tom was stalking off before he could say anything. The brown tabby blinked after him, glancing at Otterpaw with a shocked, questioning gaze. "He's serious, isn't he?" Talonspark muttered as padded away. He was tempted to follow for some reason, but kept his paws still. "Uh, well, I guess a tom's gotta do what a tom's gotta do. Even Sunfire." Talonspark shrugged, tail flicking back and forth involuntarily.
-
Talonspark stared off into the distance for a moment longer, not hearing Otterpaw at first. Then he blinked and shook his head. "Oh, yeah. Sure-" He stopped, looking up from the little tom-kit at the sound of a soft question. Talonspark blinked dumbly at the she-cat for a moment. He hadn't frozen up like this since he was an apprentice! Coughing, Talonspark schooled his features into a smooth smirk. "I think I saw the little tyke heading off after Silverkit, if he's kinda small, looks a lot like you..." Amber eyes glinted as he studied her own pools of blue. "Say, I'm not really familiar with the place. Give the new guy a tour?" Talonspark curled his tail around his paws, blinking at her hopefully. "Oh, and name's Talonspark."
-
Talonspark had his game on. No time for kits! Not when there were pretty she-cats around, and no Sunfire to pester. He purred smoothly, getting to his paws and going to stand by her side, making sure their fur brushed slightly. "Well, you'll have to lead the way. I've only seen a little of this clan. But," he glanced at her, giving her a crooked smile. "I like it all so far."
-
Talonspark smiled and padded side-by-side with Nightrain as she guided him around camp. He tried to pay attention, he really did! But sometimes there were far more interesting things to look at than dens and clearings. He only hoped she hadn't seen him staring. Word had reached them of the apprenticing event, though, so they had turned around and went back to attend it. Talonspark blinked when his named was mentioned. He hadn't been expecting that. Grinning, Talonspark flicked Nightrain on the shoulder. "Looks like I've got an apprentice." Talonspark padded towards Otterpaw, feeling guilty now for leaving him like that. "Hey squirt! Now I can train you without your mother getting her fur ruffled," he meowed, leaning down to touch noses with the little tom-kit.
Cloudpaw padded towards the ceremony as it was coming to a close and stood awkwardly at the edges, seeing Silverpaw and Otterpaw with their mentors. Snorting at his own hesitation, he bounded confidently towards the two new apprentices. "Hey you two finally made it out of the nursery," he sneered, but he gave a small smile at them. Well, maybe more towards Silverpaw than Otterpaw, but that was irrelevant.

((OOC: You're so lucky. I want to see Skyfall pretty badly. ;_;))
-
((OOC: ...what. :| How can you not...nvm.))
Talonspark shook his head, acting hurt as he drew back. "Aw, giving me the cold shoulder? How can you blame me?" He flicked his tail towards Nightrain and whispered. "I haven't seen a she-cat in moons! Or, one that didn't want to bite my ears off anyway," he grumbled.
-
((OOC: Sorry I haven't been on to post! I'll just say Talon was out hunting and Cloudpaw apparently had an attack and tried to escape. Wolves probably thought him dead and took off.))
Talonspark's paws thrummed against the forest floor, a frantic beat, despite the weight in his jaws. Cloudpaw hung by his scruff like a kit from the brown tom's mouth. Talonspark had seen the last of the wolves flee the camp, vaguely recalling Shatteredstar's warning of the vicious canines' presence in the territory. He had paid it no heed, and was caught in the midst of the fight while out hunting. Somehow he had found Cloudpaw, barely breathing and tucked under some bushes, then carried him back. Blood caked the apprentice's white fur, but the wound seemed minor. Why the wolves had left him alone, he had no idea. Thank StarClan they did. Talonspark's heart raced as he slowed to a lope, nearing the camp. His amber eyes searched the scuffed ground frantically. The scent of blood made him wrinkle his nose. Padding into the clearing, he gently laid the white cat down, panting as he glanced around for help.
-
Talonspark took only a moment to catch his breath, amber eyes tired and worried. He pressed his muzzle into the apprentice's fur, checking Cloudpaw's pulse and breathing. The medicine cat was nowhere to be found. He stood, glancing at Cloudpaw and towards the barn before carefully picking the small tom up by the scruff and gently carrying him towards the old structure. He followed the scent of herbs to the medicine cat's area and laid Cloudpaw down carefully, blinking in the gloom at the several bodies. His eyes adjusted, and he noticed Sunfire. Talonspark's blood froze and he was about to go see him, but another cat was in his way. He looked down and shrunk away, at first thinking the she-cat was dead. "Nightrain...?" He whispered shakily, outstretching a forepaw to place on her side cautiously. She was breathing. Relief washed over him. He didn't want to have to be the one to explain to her little brother. Breathing shallow and hushed, Talonspark scooted closer to her touching Nightrain's dark ear with his nose. How bad was she? He couldn't tell, and there was no medicine cat around to ask...
-
Talonspark felt bad for waking her now and mentally kicked himself for it. "Wait, no." He shook his head, amber eyes wide and sincere. "Don't talk. Save your energy for recovering." A hiss made him look up from the pale she-cat. Sunfire seemed to still have his flame, wounds or no. Talonspark placed a paw gently on Nightrain's side. "Get some rest. I'll look after your brother, too." He wasn't sure if Nightrain even remembered that she had a brother in this state, much less where or not he was okay. Talonspark turned and padded carefully towards Cloudpaw's frail form, leaning down to listen again for his breathing. It was there, though faint and hushed. He was also cold. Talonspark glanced around. There was no one else for the job just yet. He pushed away the slight awkwardness of the situation, having only known Cloudpaw for a few hours, then settled down behind him and placed his head on the apprentice's shoulder carefully. Hope I'm a good enough heater, kid.

Nickname: Ayashe, please.
Cat Name: Felicity
Gender: Female
Rank: Hunter
Appearance: Click here. Felicity is a soft, cream-white she-cat. A patchwork of dark brown and black adorn her fur, and covers most of her face. Her tail is long and oddly bushy, matching her dark spots in color, where the tip is white. Her eyes are a bright silver, and across them is what looks like scratches, now faded scars. Felicity's overall structure is light and dainty, obviously built for speed. To a stranger, Felicity's almost kit-like appearance is fooling. She is often underestimated in her strength, though not extremely great, can be used in great bursts. Despite having a bit of brawn on her side, she tends to stick to using her light exterior for cleverly tricking rather than straight up pummeling.
Personality: Felicity is a complicated cat. She has an extremely large soft spot for just about anything, but the littlest things can set her off. She tends to keep to herself due to this, seeing as her past interactions had never gone well for her. Felicity only ever talks openly to her partner, Livid.
Other: wow wow starclan is amazing touches starclans face perfect wow oK Ok.
Felicity is going blind due to the damage once done to her eyes, though its still a mystery as to who did it. She's not exactly used to it and can get snappy if anyone sneaks up on her. -
Silver orbs glinted in the dim light of the Hunters' sleeping quarters. They glanced towards one of the large windows along the peeling walls and studied the supple gray-and-white wisps floating in the sky. A headache formed as she strained to see them. Felicity was quiet in the mornings. Waking from a world of paralysis and fear often did that to you. She shuddered, pushing away from the memories of last night's dreams in her mind. Plenty ahead, no need to visit the previous ones. With a shaky sigh, Felicity put herself back together, picking out things to observe about the room and remind herself she was here and there was stable ground to stand on. One thing that kept her calm was the gentle breathing of her life-long companion, Livid. A hushed intake and exhale of air. It was all she needed to identify the black-and-white she-cat. Going blind or no, she would always know who was her partner and who was not. Ear twitching at the relaxed breathing, she slowly sat up and placed a paw on what she presumed was Livid's back and pushed. "Hey, get up, you lazy ass." The words were sharp, but also spoken with quiet carefulness.
-
Felicity snorted at the black she-cat's bad mood. "Fine. Sleep in again and see how that goes for you." Felicity wasn't going to tell her she was actually nervous about getting up alone. Her eyes were worse in the morning. She could still make out shapes, colors and usually features if she got close, but it took a while before most of the initial blur of sleep wore off. How long will it be until they all notice I can't hunt as well as I used to? What then? The tri-colored cat's tail flicked anxiously. She loved her position in the clan, loved hunting and providing. But with her eyes going bad she would soon be of no use in that department. Shrugging the worries off for the time being, Felicity gave her partner one last flick on the ear with her bushy tail and began padding out of the room, hoping Livid would follow. Getting to the second floor could require some guidance.
