[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=transparent; width: 325px;][justify][size=9pt]This is normal. Blackened crimson blood leaked slowly from the depths of a gash formed along Marius' right side, warming his flank. It matched the color of his eyes. His teeth ground together, locked in a grimace as he practically dragged himself forward, step by painful step. The border - he could smell it now, just a foot or so ahead. It was a lot different than SkullClan's; hope flared up in the chest, a relieving coldness washing over his small body.
He was young, five moons going on six, but he didn't look the part. He was half the size of a normal child his age; his scrawny frame poked through his creamy brown and white fur. He was a sickly boy, but there was a fire in his eyes - a fire that most of his new clanmates would learn to resent. If he even got that far; he wasn't sure if he planned on staying long or not.
This.. This is normal. Marius gave a cough, nearly doubling over himself before shaking taking a seat. His eyebrows furrowed, and his expressions changed to a scowl that seemed surprisingly natural. "Oi!" he squeaked out to no one in particular, "In case you haven't noticed, I'm sitting here bleeding half to death waiting for one of you idiots to come and greet me! P-Poor service, I might just go join somewhere else. Now can I.. can I please have some medical attention?"

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=transparent; width: 325px;][justify][size=9pt]Marius' narrowed crimson gaze travelled up to Natasha, and his scowl deepened. "Does it-" His snappy reply was interrupted by Corrupttimelines' greeting - which, the boy had to admit, was admirably quick. Not that he would ever say that aloud. He gave a huff, grimacing, his entire body tipping to the side a bit. "You sure-" cough, "-You sure took you're sweet time, didn't you?" he growled, youthful voice strained due to the pain.
The alarmingly undersized feline would stiffen as the moss was pressed to his flank, the water that dribbled into his wound a cool relief. He would only give a small squeak at the sight of the needle, but made no move to get away - instead he sat there as the gash was sewed shut, somehow able to manage to hold a bored expression for the entirety of the surgery.
Marius closed his eyes as the poultice and cobwebs were applied, ignoring the sharp sting they brought. Finally it was over, and his savior stepped back. He released a sigh, looking back up at the Exilers with his chin tipped back. "This isn't the best work I've seen done on a wound, but.. thanks," he grunted - after all, he wasn't entirely an asshole. His attention turned to the pair who had only just approached. He scowled at Delilah. "Are you dumb?! I'm not exactly nice and dandy over here," The kit grumbled. Looking to Horizon, he scratched the back of his neck. "Got into a fight, 's all. What's it matter to you, huh?"

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=transparent; width: 325px;][justify][size=9pt]Interacting with clanmates wasn't Marius' favorite thing in the world - he didn't exactly have what you would call the 'social graces.' That was part of the reason that he had mostly stayed holed up in the nursery until just mere days before his apprenticeship. The other reason.. was his mother. Auresque. He hated her with a burning passion, one so intense that he would go to any measures to avoid her. And when he had even the slightest fighting and hunting experience, he planned on getting the hell out of that place.
But even antisocial assholes such as himself grew lonely sometimes. He would find himself outside the nursery and in the center of camp, glancing around with narrowed crimson eyes. The boy was nearing six months, but he didn't look the part - he was nearly half the size of most kits his age, and his scrawny frame poked through his creamy brown and white fur. The small feline would sit down and tilt back his chin, a scowl etched across his face. "Hey! I'm having a meet-and-greet, so get over here!" he demanded.

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=transparent; width: 325px;][justify][size=9pt]"Fetus?!" The boy squeaked indignantly, feeling his face warm with anger. Who did this guy think he was?! At least he wasn't going to be killed. He closed his eyes for a second to calm down, a scowl etched across his face. A single crimson eye opened when Lucas questioned him about his name and parentage. His frown deepened. "Mar-Marius Xerxes," he would introduce himself with a pained stutter, youthful voice flat. He had another last name, yes, though he had all butt disowned himself from that family. No need to say it then. "And yes, I have a mother, but she's a bitch that I came here to avoid. Need any more information, or did I.. did I meet your standards?" It was a little difficult to be snarky when you were half uncosncious.
"Is this.. going to help?" The kit asked, squinting as the leaf was placed over his wound. He had no medical knowledge, so as far as he was aware, this was the best course of action. He would grimace, looking up to Lacrimosa with a frown. Seemed she was just as much an idiot as the other guy. "O-Oh, sorry. I'll be sure to whisper next time I'm on the brink of death," he growled, youthful voice strained. Knocking Lucas' leaf away and fumbling with the bandaged he'd been given, Marius turned reluctantly to allow Lacrimosa to work on his gash. "Well, hurry it up, then. And maybe you guys should think about getting an actual damn medic, huh?"

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=transparent; width: 325px;][justify][size=9pt]Marius glared at Fadingdaylight. It seemed that the two of them had very different views on respect - he believed that it should be earned. It wasn't a right, it was something that you had to deserve, no matter your age or rank. This SkyClanner seemed to fit the 'respect your elders' view or whatever quite well. Yeah, right - as if anyone deserved his respect right off the bat. "Yeah, whatever, lady," he grumbled to her. "Could I please have medical attention, then?" There. That was polite, right? He glanced at Ness but said nothing, grimacing as pain pulsed through the entirety of his right side.

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=transparent; width: 325px;][justify][size=9pt]Worked up, huh? "Listen, lady, I'll calm down when I'm not half dead," Marius huffed to Allyson, narrowing crimson eyes. Of course, he was nowhere near death, he Was just exaggerating in order to make his point. He sat back and allowed the BoneClanner to fix the poultice over his wounds, grimacing at the sting. His eyelids fluttered, and he frowned. "Marius Xerxes," he responded, teeth grinding together. He glanced over at the other two who had approached. "What, are you guys just interested in watching me bleed to death?" he questioned snarkily, still nowhere near death - and actually being healed as he spoke.

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=transparent; width: 325px;][justify][size=9pt]Marius' jaw was clenched as he marched on over, a fire in his crimson eyes. He did not want to be there. He despised his family - specifically, his mother and the 'chosen ones.' Those were, of course, the strongest of his brothers and sisters. He wasn't one of them, not anywhere near. He knew that this would be a day of relentless teasing and abuse.
And yet he had still shown up. Why? There was the inkling of a chance that she would compliment him. It was pathetic, he knew, but he would take that chance. The undersized young tom approached, shouldering past Drearypaw with his lips drawn back in a silent snarl. "Sorry I'm late, mother dear," he huffed.

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=transparent; width: 325px;][justify][size=9pt]It was a stormy day. A blanket of thick gray clouds blocked the afternoon sun from the sky, and fat drop of rain fell to the ground relentlessly. Still, the poor weather didn't stop Marius. Despite the fact that he was still a kitten, and a tiny one at that, he was out training. He stood in a clearing just outside of camp, blood red eyes narrowed at the invisible enemy that stood before him. He lashed out at the open air, jumping around, growling under his breath, releasing his anger - of course, his attacks were clumsy and lacked any real power, but that didn't matter to him. As long as he could defend himself to a certain extent, he could leave. And he wanted nothing more than to leave. To get away from her.
Satisfied with his work for the day, the runt would trot back to the nursery, Hazel and white pelt clinging to his scrawny frame from the wetness. He gave a sigh and glanced around, looking for some place to dry off.
