Ayame looked at Takeshi curiously before lifting herself off him and returning to her seat. She had no hesitation to dig in. She melted with the food. "Tastes good.." She told herself as she ate like she hadn't eaten in days. She watched Takeshi carefully until he was out of sight, thinking of what he could be doing. She slumped in the chair, just enjoying the noodles.
-
Ayame sat back in the chair after finishing the ramen she made. She glanced to Takeshi's bowl and looked off into the room which held the way to go upstairs. She bit her lip, wondering if he died or something. She scooted out of her chair and made her way to the steps. "Takeshi?" She called as she started up. If she recalled, she's seen something like this out of horror movies. To stopped to facepalm herself. Over dramatic, Aya. Plus it's not even night time. She told herself.
-
Ayame bit her lip. "Your food's going to get cold!" She told him loud enough so he could hear. She had reached the top of the steps, but hadn't moved an inch when she got there. She tried to think of which room he was in. She didn't want to barge in on him anywhere, but she did want to actually make sure he was OK.
-
Ayame now bit her cheek. She wasn't so sure now that he was alright. His voice said it all. She took a step forward, but began to think he was hiding something. She was ultimately curious, but she wasn't sure enough. Maybe he was changing? She's known for her parents doing this before once, and it was awkward because she had walked into the room at the time. Her head swirled. Takeshi would most likely have the thought to lock the door. She was hesitant, but she ended up going down the hallway. She was about to pass up the bathroom when she jumped at the mutter of Takeshi. Her attention was no all what was behind the bathroom door. Either she'd regret it, or..
Ayame didn't know why, but her heart was beating quickly. She'd come up even though he told her he'd be down. "Takeshi, are you sure you're alright? Can I come in?" She began to creak open the door.
-
Ayame stopped. Will I end up regretting this? She lifted her gaze that had been slumped to the floor and pushed open the door. She didn't think anything was wrong, but instantly she seen the scars. She froze in the door frame, stunned. She felt something collapse. She didn't know how to react besides standing there with her hand draped over her mouth to prevent herself from crying. She didn't want to cry, mainly because she felt it'll add more pain. She dropped her hand, biting her lip to keep herself from doing anything. All she could do was look at him, feeling herself get weak. Where was she when this stuff happened? Guilt only began to rise. She wanted to look Takeshi in the eyes. How long did he have to deal with this?
She stalked forward until reaching beside him. She wanted to embrace him again, but she was now afraid she'd hurt him herself. She reached forward to touch a scar, but paused when her fingers almost brushed along it. "How long?" She whispered, keeping herself steady. She watched herself this time.
-
Ayame grabbed the gauze, and only for a few seconds did she hesitate. She took in the sight before her. "Sato?" She remembered when his little gang was after him a few days back, and was now glad she stalled him. Even though he took her on as a little fly in his way, she knew the bruise she received was absolutely nothing compared to what Takeshi went through. She began to cover him up with the gauze, and right after she had to step back to continue processing some of it. She looked around on Takeshi, making sure she covered up all the scars. Her eyes had almost trailed along his entire body. When she came across his arms, she had to give it a double look over. "Your arms.." She mumbled, still keeping quiet. It was like her body was reacting on stunned reaction, but her mind certainly wasn't.
-
[color=white]Ayame could feel the lump in her throat, threatening to rise. "I-It's my fault, isn't it?" She whispered. "I wasn't there," She forced back forming tears, "when you needed me most. Right?" She asked, looking to him with a pained gaze. She grabbed a hold of her arm with her hand, squeezing it to keep preventing the tears. Am I truly this weak? Her hand trembled.
-
Ayame let her hand drop as Takeshi wrapped his arms around her. Her eyes widened. The lump still knotted in her throat, but her forming tears began to calm down. She felt her gaze drop and she nodded, trying to pull off a smile. "Can I be here for you forever instead?" She asked, feeling the sudden need to not only try to calm herself down, but to cheer Takeshi up. Ayame pulled herself in closer to him, wrapping her own arms around him as she buried herself into him again.
-
Ooo, Student Council. May my character be the secretary? c:
-
Alrighty! I switched out the Library Visit.
-
--Low muse, my bad.
Ayame sighed in relief. She thought he'd only push her away. She calmly backed out of the hug, though she had the urge to jump into him again. She smiled up at him. "Your ramen is probably cold now." She told him, making the odd appear in the conversation.
-
--Yeah, what do you want to skip to?
-
--Alrighty!
Ayame hauled in the bags she had managed to carry, each bag containing foods for Takeshi. She pushed her way into the house, setting the bags down only until she reached the kitchen. She let out an exhausted sigh, realizing she had carried more than she could handle for this long. "Welcome to the world of food yet again." She told not only herself, but commented it to also Takeshi. She smiled down at all the food they managed to get.
-
"Five hours of heaven." Ayame remarked as she began to put groceries away. She had to force herself from digging in to whatever she found pleasing. "Say," She called as she leaned in through the doorway to see Takeshi flopped on the couch. "you're making some more food, right?" She asked. She knew if she went home now, her father would be at work and her mother would still be with her aunt, leaving her home alone. As she thought about it, she realized she could trash the place and clean up before anyone could notice what happened. She began to think as she waited for his reaction, making a spaced-out kind of face.
-
Ayame put her hands up in defense. "Well," She let her arms drop. "I couldn't say I wasn't planning your death later on.." She began to whistle and disappeared into the kitchen. She couldn't tell her true intention. It'd be embarrassing.
-
Ayame laughed, trying to brush off the topic. "Nothing.." She told him. Due to the sudden urge, she gave in to a playful smirk. "Expecting something?" She asked Takeshi, turning around and practically closing in the space. She stopped just about an inch away from him.
-
Ayame softly chuckled and turned away, like it would give each other some more space. "Well, it'll just have to stay fishy to you." She told Takeshi, looking up at him. "It's nothing but my own fun." She crossed her arms. She felt her cheeks heat up. Not only did the idea of telling Takeshi what she did by herself at her house sound terrifying, but another idea was flying around her thought cloud. She gave in some thought to it now, giving her usual thinking face, this time smiling like she knew it could work. Could.
-
Ayame puffed out her cheeks. "And I refuse to give you an answer." She poked a glance at Takeshi as she began to scurry out from the kitchen. She bit her lower lip. It was a habit of hers. "Guess you could try snooping, that is if you want to be assassinated by the Kojima Empire!" She laughed, recalling the previous night in his room, which was a war.
