    Janshai hadn't really thought about training quite yet. He knew Sun was really serious about it, but he preferred to spend his days doing other things. As he padded over, he figured today was as best a time as ever. He would wait to find someone who would go a little easier on him, as he had absolutely no prior experience other than wrestling with his littermates.

    Janshai sighed, eyes returning to his paws as he wasn't quite satisfied with her answer. "Yes," he said. "You have to promise that, if you ever think of doing something like that again, you'll stop and think, just for a moment. And, if you need anything, don't be too afraid to ask. I'll always try my best to help. Because you're my friend," the cub would add.

    Janshai's smile returned, though he still wasn't entirely happy with her response. The crimson on her paws caught his eyes as he remembered what she had done to them. "Also, that you'll see a mender as soon as possible," he said. "Before the cuts get infected." The cub was perfectly okay with keeping the events that had just occurred a secret, if that was what Aria wanted. Then, Lewis and Rick might not be as worried about her, if they didn't already know. He was confident that she would try to avoid hurting herself and those who cared for her in the future.

    To be honest, Janshai had been trying to avoid Sparrow. He had been instead spending his time with Aria, whom he felt most comfortable around. But ,as he passed by her cave, the cub saw how unhappy she looked and felt a wave of guilt overcome him. So, he decided he'd at least say hello. "Watcha doin'?" he asked as he padded inside his mother's sister's home.

    Janshai hadn't yet begun he training, so he hadn't really been following that sort of thing. "No, I haven't. Did something important happen?", he asked, looking up to meet her eyes. The cub hoped he hadn't missed anything he was supposed to be doing.

    "I don't know if I'd be very good," Janshai admitted. He was quite chubby and preferred to spend his days wandering the territory, sometimes with Aria, and had grown used to doing nothing. But he was willing to try, for he had promised that he would take care of Aria and his siblings, mainly Jasper and Juju (especially now that she was an owl). The cub was sure Sun could take care of herself. And, it was always good to help the Clan.

    It was hard to imagine Sparrow ever being weak. She acted so tough, almost the opposite of Skyfall. Was it normal for siblings to be that way? Sun was tough and determined as well, but Jasper loved cuddles and seemed oblivious to upsetting situations, always optimistic. He figured it didn't really matter. Everyone was different. All that counted was that they loved each other. When thinking of Skyfall, Janshai decided that she would have wanted him to train and to help his Clan. "I guess," he said, still not entirely eager.

    He knew exactly where she was coming from. His mother had also left suddenly, and so soon after Juju's death. Wouldn't she have wanted to stay and support her other children. Janshai didn't think it right. But, he honestly didn't care anymore. He hadn't been as close with her, spending only a moon with his mother. The cub wasn't sure how close Aria and Judith were. "Yes, I promise," he said simply, meaning every word.

    Janshai shook his head as the sword appeared in front of them. He didn't have any powers, but it seemed like conjuring was one of the more common ones. The cub was quite surprised that they'd be starting with a sword, as he could easily hurt himself or Sparrow with such a sharp tool. It did make it a little more exciting, as well. He marveled at the blade, remembering how Aria had cut herself with a knife, before Jan had convinced her stop. This made him slightly nervous while he rubbed the hilt of the weapon with his paws.

    Janshai carefully picked up the blade in his paws, lightly swinging it from side to side, testing the weight of this new weapon. He felt slightly awkward holding it, continuing to gaze in astonishment. He wasn't quite sure how to answer her question, but he assumed that if one wanted to block another's attack, they would balance the sword parallel to the body, in order to be able to quickly counter a blow. The cub demonstrated this with his own sword.

    The cub joined his Clanmates, seeing that the pup was upset. He raked his brain for ideas of how to cheer him up. "Do you want to play a game?" he asked Mirtillo. Jan hadn't had fun with his own littermates in a while, as it seemed they were always worried about something else. He missed the days they would wrestle and play tag.

    I will not be very active with either of my characters now until June 3rd. This is due to final exams. Sorry for neglecting any main/open threads as I'll try to focus any time here on private ones. Also my muse won't be the best (as if it ever were) because of a fried brain. Thanks for understanding!

    "Is there anyway I can help?" Janshai asked after padding over and taking in the scene. Aria had talked of Corbin before, and she was very sad to be without him. The cub didn't like to see the tigress upset. He knew he probably couldn't fight, as he was just beginning lessons with Sparrow, but he wasn't going to just sit around.
