[justify][fancypost borderwidth=0px;line-height:14px]It was somewhat saddening to hear someone was leaving, but when he heard it was Gameboy, he was not all surprised. The male had shown signs of being a bit ... frightened and anxious of becoming something within the clan. When he had become bodyguard, he dropped the position only days later, if that. He wasn't in the right mind, and Chartedstars could instantly tell upon first laying his eyes on him. Though he attempted to appear normal, and funny, he was quite the opposite. "Safe travels," the pale lion uttered softly under his breath, moving to stand near Alaska, though not too close. He wasn't interested in people who left their clans behind, even if the thought was hypocritical. His eyes shut for a moment as he thought to himself, sighing.

[justify][fancypost borderwidth=0px;line-height:14px]His gaze slid over to Aradelle as she approached, not entirely interested in holding a conversation with someone he hardly knew. Though, rather than be disrespectful, he chose to sit up and peer down at her, a neutral expression plastered to his features. "Not exactly. I'm not fond of them, really," he answered her truthfully, shrugging his good shoulder as he continued to watch her. Chartedstars didn't see her at all as annoying, and instead saw the party as irritating. Why he was even there was beyond him. He supposed making an appearance at clan gatherings was better than not participating at all. "Are you at least enjoying it?" The pale lion then inquired, head tilted somewhat to the side. He was attempting to change the subject from himself and back to her, not interested in speaking of his own likes and dislikes. Charted twitched his nose in slight distaste as his gaze went back to the party, watching those gathered and talking amongst each other.

A soft sigh sounded from the pale lion as he padded to his cabin, absentmindedly dragging his gaze along his surroundings. His pale green optics were narrowed, as they usually were. He appeared deep in thought, as if deciding something. And it was true that he was doing just that. Chartedstars hummed as he slowed to a halt, tail swishing gently over the cold ground. He was standing outside his own cabin, peering out at the territory beyond him, wondering if anyone was even near. Since Shiftingstar had given the go ahead, he figured it would be a good idea to hold a meet and greet for the whole clan. He believed more clanwide ideas were needed, but for now, this was good enough. Like Mountainpaw, he would be contributing more often rather than being extremely active like some people were. He didn't think he could handle being active as hell anyway, not like Shifting was.
The head bodyguard lifted his head, clearing his mind of his thoughts to focus on the task at hand. Meet and greet. He cleared his throat before parting his lips, prepared to speak loudly enough for others to hear. "Meet and greet for everybody!" The Scottish lion called, voice booming despite not having any sound manipulation. He was determined to gather as many people as possible, thus he willed his voice to become louder, though not extremely so. "For those of you who I have yet to meet, my name is Chartedstars, and I'm a head bodyguard here. If you need anything, please ask. I also don't mind if you ask questions about myself," he introduced before adding on additional commentary. He gave a bob of his head before stepping back into a sitting position, waiting.
hey!! i'm carmen / kenobi (call me either idc) and i've been here for over 5 years now. i played jailbreak, a former advisor here and now i have chartedstars! i also have newt and chandler, though they are not played as often as charted. i love horses, star wars and the maze runner oh and the walking dead quite a bit so if you like those things hit mE UP
i'm actually hella friendly in a mean, sarcastic way and sighs i'm a huge nerd -
[justify][fancypost borderwidth=0px;line-height:14px]"Slippery, isn't it?" Charted questioned in a rather rhetorical manner, giving a chivalrous smile to the much smaller bunny before glancing in Alaska's direction and giving a small nod in greeting. Unlike Lask, he did not know Drippingkit all too well, or even her name. His lips curled back in a somewhat sheepish frown, though he made it quickly disappear from his features. He peered back at Dripping to watch her slide around on the ice, briefly wondering if she knew what it was. "My name is Chartedstars, by the way. I'm ... unsure if we have met properly," the Scottish lion admitted in a soft tone, nonexistent brows furrowing as he thought to himself once more. Rather than stepping onto the ice, he remained on solid ground, pale emerald eyes observing the two near him. He slowly moved to sit back on his haunches, suddenly becoming silent.

[justify][fancypost borderwidth=0px;line-height:14px]Though Chartedstars was not the one Mountainpaw was calling for, he approached anyway, eyes observing the alabaster feline. He said nothing as he halted near Jonathan, pale emerald optics eventually leaving his chubby co-worker to focus on his paws. He still remained attentive regardless of how he appeared, as his ears were still pricked forward, flicking every so often. The pale lion found himself sitting back on his haunches after another few silent moments, merely waiting now for Mountain to speak up with this idea he was clearly thrilled about. Charted had no clue what it could possibly be, but he figured it would be along the lines of forcing the group to interact better with one another.

[justify][fancypost borderwidth=0px;line-height:14px]Honestly, he hadn't thought any kind of infection would have caused him to become sick. Perhaps it wasn't even the infection that had done it. Maybe he was pushing himself too hard in his trainings, despite when Sam had told him not to partake in them. Chartedstars believed he could handle it, and so he would continue doing them. What a fool he was for believing that. He could practically hear Defiantmind laughing in his ear, his presence near. "I'd rather not be mocked," the pale lion grunted to the air, pale emerald optics flickering around the area he currently sat in, waiting for the faint blue figure to appear. Once the direwolf had shown himself, a smirk lining his lips, he couldn't help but roll his eyes visibly and obnoxiously. Charted merely ignored his former master, and instead pivoted as well as he could in his sitting position to glance up at his cabin. His eyes seemed somewhat dulled, and his posture was lower than it usually would have been.
A quiet cough sounded from where he sat before he eventually broke out into a coughing fit. Soon enough, he managed to calm his throat and lungs enough to breathe normally, finding it odd that he was becoming ... ill. It had never happened before. This was a first for him. For a moment, he glanced in Defiantmind's direction, curious to see what the male had to offer. Rather than say anything, his mentor gave a faint shrug of his shoulders before disappearing from sight, leaving the head bodyguard on his own. As long as it didn't worsen he believed he would be alright, and so far, it was only a cough. Hopefully it would remain that way rather than turn into something horrible. Chartedstars did not yet wish to die, or be completely vulnerable. He already felt that way with his injured shoulder, which was just now beginning to heal. The infection seemed to have faded, but he showed signs of sickness before that. It was somewhat concerning, but he was no expert in illnesses or medicine. It would be best to ask one of the medics, he figured.
With a few more coughs, Charted bit down on his tongue, pain erupting from his chest. His throat felt unusually dry, as did his tongue and mouth. Perhaps he wasn't hydrated enough. That was always a possibility as well. He surely hoped he wasn't getting sick. He couldn't perform at his best with an illness, nor could he train his apprentices either.

[/fancypost] hoo momma new fancypost /cracks knucklesImmediately upon hearing Cosmicpaw's repetitive 'I'm fine's, Chartedstars found himself growing irritated and somewhat upset with how his apprentice was acting. It was clear that the younger male was far from being alright, as his eyes were bloodshot and upon first spotting him, Charted could instantly tell the signs of exhaustion. Like his trainee, he too often underwent spouts of exhaustion throughout his own training, but he couldn't figure out why Cos was now undergoing it. They had yet to start any actual training, what with Chartedstars' being injured. As soon as Sam gave him the go ahead, however, he would finally begin with Cosmicpaw and Lionpaw. Having two apprentices seemed like an alright idea at the time, but now, considering their somewhat clashing personalities, he could already feel the stress weighing down on his shoulders. With a huff of a sigh, the pale lion found himself approaching the young wolf and those who had gathered nearby, choosing to stop beside Lionpaw. He also found it a bit ironic that his apprentice was named Lionpaw while he himself was a cat of that species. Though the thought was momentary, he couldn't help but curl his lips back into a frown, appearing deep in his musings. His gaze moved to Cos once more.
At Lionpaw's commentary, his lips were pulled back further, a bit disappointed in her defending of her brother, growing more annoyed. "He isn't fine. Obviously, he is exhausted. Like Harborbreeze said, even I went to the medics for help. I'm not as prideful as some are," he directed the exaggerated 'some' at his other apprentice, pale green visionaries staring accusingly in his direction for a moment before softening. Though he did have his prideful moments, he knew when to give in and ask for aid. He glanced in Harbor's general direction, somewhat confused by her rude demeanor. Perhaps he was merely imagining things. "Don't think I'm invincible. No one is, and that includes you," Chartedstars informed Cosmicpaw, giving a flick of his tail in a somewhat annoyed manner, eyes seeming restless. They constantly moved between both of his apprentices, and anyone else gathered nearby. He felt uneasy, and for reasons he didn't know.
"Everyone has their faults," Charted went on to say, his voice quieter, almost more gentle in a way as he spoke to Cos, occasionally glancing down at Lionpaw. "I'd like it if you drank water and rested for the time being. I'm almost well enough to begin training with you and Lionpaw anyway," the pale lion ordered his apprentice, sending a sharp stare to let him know he did not want him acting stubborn in response. He knew that Cosmicpaw was stubborn, so he decided that he wouldn't let it slide this time. Besides, he could feel a headache coming on, and he was sure it was from watching Cos stumble around in an exhausted, and almost drunken-like, state.

[justify][fancypost borderwidth=0px;line-height:14px]Since a question was directed at him, he turned to face the one who had spoken to him first, and that person happened to be Maelstrom. The creature was odd in the way that he talked. He seemed to correct himself, almost as if attempting to stop from doing something. Chartedstars dwelled on it for a moment, but soon shifted his thoughts to the way he would answer the query given to him. It was a simple inquiry, so there was little he could actually say in reply to it. "I've been here for about a month and a half," the pale lion answered truthfully, seeing no point in lying when Maelstrom seemed genuinely curious. Or perhaps he was instead trying to make small talk. In a way, however, Charted saw that as an incorrect theory, as Mael didn't seem the type to do something of the sort. It wasn't as if he fully knew the other animal though, so he quit pondering about it in his presence. There would be time for that when he was far from everyone else, maybe before meditating.
His pale green gaze then flickered to his apprentice, in which he rolled his eyes visibly in his direction. "I'm not going to pick favorites," Chartedstars replied coolly, a dry tone of amusement to his voice. He then moved his optics from Cos to search for Lyn, if she was even anywhere near. Though there were no signs of her, he doubted she was far away. Even if she was an apprentice, they weren't necessarily allowed to go out without permission. He knew he wouldn't allow that. "Does anyone have any other questions for me?" The Scottish head bodyguard inquired aloud, a nonexistent brow quirking as he brought his visionaries across those gathered, curious to see if any of them had inquiries. He didn't wish to ask Jonathan anything, as no thoughts or queries came to mind when it came to the advisor.

[justify][fancypost borderwidth=0px;line-height:14px]Scarves? He didn't think he would need one, what with his mane growing in, coating his neck and head. It was nearly finished, though he felt as though it wasn't quite long or thick enough yet to be considered done. Still, he couldn't help but admire the scarves the unfamiliar male had with him. His pale green visionaries observed the many fabrics, all with different colors and patterns. For a moment, a frown made its way to his maw as he remembered his apprentice's lack of color vision. Soon enough, however, he dropped the look from his features to focus once more on Sunstruck, a neutral expression plastered to his features. "They are nice, but I do not want one," Chartedstars informed him in a quiet tone, tail tip twitching as his tail flicked gently over the ground. "I appreciate the offer, though," the Scottish lion murmured afterwards, focusing now on his paws as he eased back on his haunches, a cough escaping his lips. It was that damn cough once more. It was one problem he didn't want to deal with, especially now. He was slacking when it came to his duties as a head bodyguard, and it made him feel weak and insignificant. Chartedstars believed he was not doing his best. He needed to try harder.

[justify][fancypost borderwidth=0px;line-height:14px]Though he could read well enough, he didn't bother to read the note left behind by Sans, and he knew it was him because he at least read the name written at the bottom of the note. He wasn't fond of the male. He didn't believe he was capable of holding the position of bodyguard, as he hardly ever saw him around, much less him contributing. It was the same with a few other individuals who held the positions as bodyguard or above. There was little he could do about it unless he discussed demotions with Shiftingallegiances personally, but he wasn't the one who was meant to make the decisions. "Sad," Chartedstars commented in a dry tone of voice, not sounding particularly saddened by the loss. It wasn't as if he was dead. People would have bigger reactions if he was, and there was no sign of blood, or his body or the smell of death anywhere. There was little they actually had to worry about. He was sure the male would eventually wander back into WindClan anyway. Charted licked at his lips before releasing a few coughs. It irritated him how he had this insistent cough, and no matter what he did, it wouldn't go away. He tried drinking water more regularly than he usually did. He even tried eating some mint, or more berries. None of it helped, though.

[justify][fancypost borderwidth=0px;line-height:14px]It seemed as though he was the last to arrive, but he didn't seem to mind at all. After all, his apprentices had risen and gotten there before he had, which he was perfectly alright with. As long as they kept a positive mindset about their training then he would be fine. Well enough, at least. With a soft sigh, the lion rose from his position before exiting his cabin and heading to the main part of camp, appearing a bit drowsy. Chartedstars kept his eyes open and train of sight on them, pale emerald optics narrowed. "What exactly would you two like to begin with? Hunting? Or fighting?" Even though the question had already been asked, he felt as though he didn't have to utter it at all. He already knew what Cosmicpaw's answer would be, and he supposed Lionpaw would answer the same, what with their competitive natures. Especially when they were pitted against one another. He could already feel the pressure settling on his shoulders, and the irritation he would often feel. It was already stressful and nothing had happened yet.
-
[justify][fancypost borderwidth=0px;line-height:14px]Though he had held one before, it seemed to spark interest in those within the clan, so he figured why not try it again. He didn't mind talking about himself, though he did grow uncomfortable when it came to his past, especially Defiantmind. As soon as his thoughts shifted to his former master, he could feel his presence nearby, attempting to soothe him. The ill-appearing male shifted in his spot before sitting back on his haunches, pale green visionaries appearing a bit dull. "Would anyone like to ask me some questions?" Chartedstars then inquired aloud, sounding a bit tired because of whatever sickness he had. He hoped that didn't drive people away, as he'd rather not deal with being cast out. The pale lion wouldn't allow others to become sick because of himself anyway. The pale lion shook his head to wake himself up a bit more, eyes widening to appear more awake than he actually was. He still wore a plain expression on his features, lips curled back in a slight smile to seem friendly and welcoming. In all honesty, he did not want to deal with people, but putting himself out there was better than doing nothing as some other high positions did. He released a soft snort, eyes rolling.

[justify][fancypost borderwidth=0px;line-height:14px]both of those ideas are actually planned for the future lmaO thank u tho i appreciate the help :^3
maybe maelstrom and charted could have a plot together -
[justify][fancypost borderwidth=0px;line-height:14px]
yaaas it's cosmic!! just he hasn't become evil yetgasps
i'd totally be up for that omg. and it could be more one-sided because charted doesn't even know what love is yet so he doesn't realy feel anything for mael, but he feels bad bc mael is actually pretty cool and deserves attention. he could totally help him with confidence too :^)well as long as the person isn't affecting him in/directly then he probably won't do anything about it unless he sees something wrong and changes it

[justify][fancypost borderwidth=0px;line-height:14px]im fine with like any charted ship tbh as long as everyone is okay with it being short term bc he has a love plot that has been SET with someone else :^3

[justify][fancypost borderwidth=0px; width:450px; font-size:8pt;line-height:120%]"Leave." Chartedstars echoed in an unusually harsh voice, pale green visionaries narrowed and glaring at Bandaged. He didn't care for their relationship. If they wanted to meet up, then they should do it elsewhere. He was fortunate none of them were stupid enough to attempt any attacks to force him from their land. He already disliked the snow leopard enough; he just hoped he didn't succumb to loathing him. His lips curled back in a slight snarl, fur bristling somewhat on his shoulders and back. Charted couldn't believe he had the nerve to even show up in their midst. What an idiot. If Pinky wanted to date this Exiler scum then he should leave and go elsewhere. "You should go to another clan if you continue to date this ... worthless thing." Clear malice laced his tone as he exaggerated some of his words, now turning his stare to the frightened, nervous male. "We can't have exiled Exilers at our borders." Chartedstars added on, tone seeming to calm somewhat.
