An attack like that could easily kill someone. Still, the outer edges of the wing brushed against his body, sending him tumbling through the air, barely managing to cling onto his sword.
Almost before he'd even managed to check for serious injuries--none, although there were a few scrapes and bruises--and stagger back to his feet, he was attacked yet again. Seriously, was it 'let's-all-gang-up-on-him' day or something? Out of the corner of his eye he saw Skippingstones go, with a noticeable limp; the wolf would've taken advantage but for the fact of his new attackers. At least Pishacha was on his side.
The wolf spun, feeling pain shoot down his side, lashing out with blunt claws to hopefully land some good hits. If his claws did indeed sink in, he'd retreat almost immediately--no sense in hanging on when he might get badly wounded for it. Besides, his claws were nowhere near as sharp as a feline's, but they were good enough to cause superficial damage. After a few strikes of that, he moved back a little bit, then leaped into the air, aiming to bring the sword in his jaws down hard as he jumped over Wastedtime.[/fancypost]

Claws and fangs generally couldn't do much, but, for whatever reason, Rosuto was unwilling to test it out against a rhino's horn. Even if the armor deflected the attack, he was sure that it wouldn't do so again a second time.
But, even without powers, at least he still was nimble. Evading the blow was supremely easy. The wolf conjured his sword, aiming to rake the blade down the rhino's shoulder. He figured it was best to get rid of her before returning to the original goal, after all.[/fancypost]
