It was summer, so it wasn't as if there was much for him to miss down below, other than the usual boring routine. But for all he knew, he'd be stuck here for an extended period of time, babysitting the other deities. It could come fall, come winter, and he'd still be here, missing his wife's visit.

But perhaps, maybe, just maybe, he'd be able to find her here, see her before the seasons changed. Persephone would be with Demeter, but if he could find them, perhaps this wouldn't be a colossal waste of time and sanity. The odds of finding them were slim, however, and he didn't get his hopes up. Until he was able to find evidence or a trail to his wife and her mother, he'd be stuck here with nothing to brighten his days, no light (or rather, dark) at the end of the tunnel.

The black tom was sitting away from the steam boat. Stepping onto that would be leaving the safety of his realm - he already felt exposed enough with Zeus' realm above, but completely leaving his domain behind to put himself at the mercy of both of his brothers? Not happening.

Growling under his breath, Hades scanned the area. He needed to find a cave to make his residence, so long as he'd be stuck here. The boat was out of the question, as was staying out in the open. He didn't know the territory whatsoever, had only made it to the steamboat because Athena pointed it out, but he didn't feel like wandering around the territory like a lost child attempting to find something that might not even be there.

So it was with great resignation that he quietly spoke, his voice deep and rumbling, [color=red]"Are there any caves here?" The locals were bound to know, no?

The Riverguard Trainee's comment made Hades rumble a growl of irritation. "There aren't any caves that you know of, but there may still be some?" Tadashi could be useless so long as there was still something to find.

Jager's words confirmed what Hades guessed, and he nodded. What else was he going to do - keep track of the other gods? Zeus could force him here, but he couldn't force him to do his bidding. "A cave is far better suited to the God of the Underworld than a boat, no?" Not to mention the lack of people in the caves, especially if they were hidden so well.

Hades looked at Frightfur, frowning. He was obviously not living under a rock, but it seemed his knowledge of basic things like caves indicated as such. [color=red]"If I had all of my powers, I could split the earth and show you." Unfortunately, not being in his own realm has cost him some of those powers as well as other things, like Cerberus and his chariot.
