[Fancypost bgcolor=palegoldenrod; border: Gold 2pt ridge; overflow: auto; height: 150pt; width: 350pt][justify]Hello and welcome to SunClan, a clan who refuses to be tied down with labels - no longer are they an anti-clan, neutral, nor are they pro-clan; they are, likewise to a certain country, a melting pot of personalities, beliefs, and many other things, and have finally come to the conclusion that they can't sit right with being things that they are not. Be wary of SunClan, because they are wild, flamboyant, and deadly if provoked, and very close to one another. Mess with one, and you're messing with all; "... [Fancypost bgcolor=palegoldenrod; border: Gold 2pt ridge; overflow: auto; height: 150pt; width: 350pt][justify]SunClan currently resides on a chain of three islands located not far from the Rift. Their territory include such notable features such as the Aztec city that makes up their camp near a river and surrounded in jungle, with underground tunnels beneath it, a shrine with a spring, a yacht, abandoned human outposts, a beach, and old mines. The old territory still belongs to SunClan, with its razed beach village and castle, pine forest and shrine.
The first island is a large, dense jungle with a river flowing through it, in a way cutting it in half. But the main attraction is the camp, an ancient and abandoned Aztec city. There are plenty of places for SunClanners to make their home, but the truly notable parts are in and around the temple. (Image of the jungle & top of the temple) There is the temple itself, and partially sheltered underground but also partially exposed to the sky is the shrine and spring. The spring's water is blue-violet from minerals, and this cave is generally referred to as the shrine, spring or spa, as SunClanners often go there to bathe and socialize.
Under the temple is a series of underground tunnels. There are some places that have collapsed or are in danger of doing so, but others are safe and can be used as an escape route in the event of invasion that lets out near the river. (Image of the tunnels, image of the occasional room)
The second island is not as forested as the other two, but there are a few plants and animals that wouldn't be there naturally had it not been for humans that visited and began exploring, establishing outposts in the form of three buildings where leftover evidence can still be found. The humans also built a dock, which is where the yacht is kept when not in use.
The third island has not yet been very well explored, but it has many hills and in those hills, natural caves - most that were converted to mines, along with manmade offshoot tunnels.

The yacht is a dark blue and white, 279' luxury yacht that is used to ferry joiners from the border in the old territory to the islands and remains in the dock when not in use. (Exterior image - front, exterior image - back, exterior image - overhead)

SunClan previously resided in a large area that had a beach, pine forest, shrine, and a demolished castle and razed beach town. Due to recent events the camp and large portions of the territory was burned to ashes, and the SunClanners have moved to a new territory. It should also be noted that the water supply was poisoned in the old territory.
Their old camp is nestled on the edge of their territory rather comfortably, because beyond the tree-line is a beach, a razed beach town, and a castle built into a cliff. The wild undergrowth dotting beneath the pine trees passes the trees and eventually turns into sand, which spans and stretches until it touches the shore of the ocean. The beach isn't very big but isn't small either, most of the space being claimed by the beach town that holds the majority of SunClan's population. Between the burned beach houses, there is a street, and that street runs ramped with demolished shops and civilians. Inside the town is rather wild, with noise being heard from dusk till dawn, and occasionally there is noise at night. So don't get too offended if someone is grouchy in the morning!
The castle was a much needed addition to the camp, and although it is settled a bit ways away from the beach (because it's on a cliff), and merely rubble now, it is still a popular attraction. Members with ideas used to come here to seek approval from the high positions, whom were known and encouraged to live there. The cliff that the castle is built around is on the edge of the beach, and rises so high that the waves can barely reach it.
The (old) shrine is inside of the pine forest, and is somewhat in the center of the territory as a whole. The shrine is the old SunClan camp and although it's former state wasn't admirable, the members of the clan have kept it well-kept to the point where it now looks more homely and clean than before. The shrine also escaped the fire that ruined a good portion of SunClan's territory. A reference of where the SunClanners slept is here, while the shrine itself is here. Although you are allowed to live here, this area is mostly used for ceremonies and events.
Lastly, the old territory by itself is a huge pine forest that stretches a few more acres in different directions, stopping at the beach and the border. There are many wonders inside of this forest, which can include but are not limited to swamps, ponds, and old trails from the humans that formerly lived here.

7. Members should not be demoted unfairly for equally unfair reasons (ex. blankstar demotes blankblank for inactivity, even though this member has posted fifty times or more this week).
8. Do not rape/kill/capture members of SunClan or its allies and neutrals.
9. Anyone can hold a raid on an enemy as long as they are above the age of six moons, unless given special permission.

Werden? wrote:Display MoreSunclan's origins actually started in Shadowclan. An ambitious warrior called Raven??{RPed by ??} Wanted to prove that he could make a better clan than Shadowclan. Having no where else to turn he went into the city and began to recruit kittypets. Having enough of the life of kittypet, Elliefang{RPed by Elliefang} and Ellen{RPed by Starrypaw} joined the now named Ravenstar. Eventually their clan was about the size of Shadowclan, however, Ravenstar ended up ditching Sunclan and crawling back to Shadowclan. However, Elliefang took over as leader and made Ellen her. Still she kept a paw in both worlds. Nothing much really happened until a hungry dog pack lead by Pongo{RPed by Wynn} drove out Sunclan and forced them to a place known as Sunclan grove. While there, Elliefang grew insane and left back to her two-leg home leaving Ellen in charge with her deputies Flamewing{RPed by Piney} and Mufasa {RPed by Grimm}.
The few Sunclan cats that were left to defend their territory were then driven out by a joint attack by the Blackheart Rogues and the Tribe of Many Storms. The Tribe of Many Storms then claimed Sunclan land as their own. Two years passed and then Sunclan along with Brody{RPed by Wynnyelle} and his relatives and CometTribe {At the time they were pro-clan} drove out the Tribe of Many Storms and claimed their land back. During this battle, Calmnight{RPed by Mixx}, leader of the Tribe of Many Storms was killed leaving Elixor{RPed by Aurora} as the heir. While this was going on, a new group was forming called Death Pride, formed by Mufasa's brother Sgorr{RPed by Grimm}. An instant hatred was struck up between them and their were many disputes between them.
Ladycalm{RPed by Rachel} was medicine cat at the time with her apprentice Jaypaw{RPed by ??} But once he became a medicine cat he was seen less around the den and soon began to traverse between two clans. Finally deciding he was gone, Ladycalm took on two new apprentices, Bonanzapaw{RPed by Lala} and Sabrepaw{RPed by Fruitloop} They trained under the eyes of her but Sabrepaw had a secret. Stormsoul{RPed by Ashurii} was then promoted to medicine cat apprentice by Ellen. Once Sabrepaw and Bonanzapaw were ready to receive their names, Ladycalm was murdered by a Death Pride member. Soon they became Sabretooth and Bonanzaglory and along with Silentsoul were respected medicine cats.
Sabretooth had a secret however and only confided in his new medicine apprentice Painpaw{RPed by Stealthy} He secretly visited the Blackheart Rogues and conversed with their leader Philadelphia{RPed by Piney} and Staunton{RPed by Piney} Together they organized and ambush attack on Ellen and stripped her of her life. Not understanding they hadn't fully killed her, they dumped her in the river and went back to Sunclan. There, Sabretooth tried to convince them that Ellen was killed by Death Pride and that her last wish was for him to be deputy. Finding out the truth, there was a war but Sabretooth was prepared with the Empire of Tufani and the Blackheart Rogues there to help. Admitting defeat, Sabretooth took over and became Sabrestar.
Although he kept Mufasa and Flamewing as deputies, he promoted his own, Damon{RPed by Mother Confessor} Painpaw stayed medicine cat along with Silentsoul. Their rule was bitter and a constant struggle between pro-clan and anti-clan. During that time Damon was captured by Windclan and Mufasa had built an army which composed of Riverclan, Windclan and Thunderclan. Another bloodly battle ensued but the stakes were quite even, eventually Gravelstar{RPed by Wolfin} said that if they gave up the battle Damon would be returned. Surrendering, Sabrestar left with his anti-clanners and Mufasa and Flamestar became leaders, splitting their lives 4/5. Their deputy was Lynxglare{RPed by Breezey}.
Once again things returned to an almost blissful state with Silentsoul promoting two new medicine cat apprentices Ace{RPed by Redlava} and Wraithpaw{RPed by Faust}. A love had built up between Flamestar and Sabrestar and they visited each other in the graveyard which ended with her captured by anti-Sunclan. Whilst being held, Venomstripe{RPed by Stealthy} and Smokefield{RPed by Jet} captured Mufasa and brought him to Sabrestar. They made a promise that once they were in control of Sunclan again they would attack Bloodclan. Having both leaders, Sabrestar launched an attack on Sunclan. It was even until Sabrestar said he would kill Flamestar and Mufasa if they didn't give up. They surrendered.
Now back in charge of Sunclan, Flamestar chose to stay with her love Sabrestar and retired to become Flamewing. Mufasa was kept prisoner and is still prisoner today. They still had the bargain with Venomstripe and Smokefield but Sabrestar went back on it and instead attacked them. Thus then forming an alliance with Bloodclan. Everything was going fine, Sabrestar fought along side allies and against enemies introduced the new position Token Masters before mysteriously vanishing. At the time, his two deputies Mountaindew[RPed by Dragon] and Colouredvision[RPed by Minty] took over and began to lead the Clan. Their deputies were Spottedglory[RPed by Shatter] and Maximus[RPed by Mikka]
Many things changed, Token Masters were renamed Designers, and the new position Shopkeepers was introduced. They were in charge of running shops in the plaza to buy and sell things. Colouredstar and Mountainstar eventually turned the Clan pro-Clan. As this was going on, Oraclenight {rped by ??}, an ex-Elite leader, managed to convince Mountainstar's possessor to come out and change everything back to anti-Clan. Since Colouredstar was an amnesiac at the time, he did nothing to stop them.
While she was in charge, Sabrestar appeared once again, welcomed by many except for Colouredstar and Mountainstar. At one of the meetings, Mountainstar went insane and yelled and screamed trying to get out of the control of his possessor. With Sabrestar standing by to force Mountainstar to overcome this demon, Mountainstar eventually went back to normal. Thinking this was a good time, Sabrestar tried to bargain his position back but to no avail, he was chased off and said he would come back.
Once again, SunClan continued as normal, having Shopkeepers work and Designers create their tokens. But Sabrestar said he would be back. He was greeted by Mountainstar[RPed by Pineapple] and Spottedglory who agreed to revoke his leadership and resume being deputy. When Colouredstar {RPed by Neon} appeared, he said no, and they began to argue and fight. Eventually, it broke out in a huge attack, with both sides running off to get allies. Staunton {RPed by Pineclaw} brought the Blackheart Rogues to help while Ishmael {RPed by Sebastian} brought ScarClan. HawkClan also turned up but there were no leaders present.
Seeing he was outnumbered, Colouredstar fled and Sabrestar became leader of SunClan for the third time. After awhile Sabrestar resigned willingly from Leader and handed it over to Flamestar while he stepped down to a Medicine Cat of SunClan. He promised that his Silverblood's would stay loyal to Flamestar so long as Sabrestar was still inside SunClan. He was now known as Sabretooth. Rapidfire {RPed by Epica}, Vertigo {RPed by Chronokitty}, and Polkadots {RPed by Doodlestar} were all promoted to the deputy position.
Colouredstar and Mountainstar felt extremely betrayed by these actions. Mountainstar secretly met with Colouredstar and they planned a battle to regain SunClan's authority, even though they didn't want a battle and endless bloodshed. Flamestar, Mountainstar and Colouredstar came to an agreement that they would all three be leaders of SunClan. Gravelstar promised that she'd be back to kill Sabretooth and hunt him down after Flamestar promised to hand him over.
The three ruled together for a short time, but then things slowly went for a horrible turn. Flamestar was assassinated by Carnivalcorpses {rped by ??} while he was testing out a new telepathic ability. He manipulated her mind into thinking she was on fire and in reality her skin reacted as though it was on fire. Mountainstar was assassinated shortly after by Carnivalcorpses and had all of his lives drained from his body. Colouredstar was left in ruin for a short while, consumed with grief at his brother's and the other leaders deaths. He ruled singlehanded for a short periode of time before the return of a lost soul.
Mountainstar had returned but he was possessing Wildfire. Wildfire had been given nine lives once more and had convinced Colouredstar that he was his brother. Colouredstar was excited upon his brothers return soon realized that with his death came a change in his personality. The two never lead the same style of clan again and the clan began to grow more low into their kittypet traits.
Then the massive clan truce began and Sunclan swore the Oath of protection. Wildstar was demoted back to a warrior position shortly after and Polkadots was demoted as well. Rainbowsong {RPed by Spotty} was promoted to the deputy position and Sunclan was awaiting the natural disasters that were supposed to hit the clans.
Acid rain fell from the sky and Sunclan was forced to leave their territory and find shelter in an abandoned school. Colouredstar was seriously wounded in the process along with many other of his clan mates. Rapidfire died from the wounds of the acid rain, resulting in another traumatic event for the clan.
The clan's camp had also been demolished by the acid rain; it's venom grasp melting away and burning up the camp's sheds and melting the plastic on the playground. Colouredstar had then decided that some new changes needed to happen in the clan. That they were depending too much on their kittypet roots. He took the initiative and started a new revolution with in the clan.
The school was located near an alley way of a twoleg town. Colouredstar had been out hunting one day and had meet up with his friend and former Sunclanner Wyvrenhill {RPed by Nuka}. The two had been excited upon their surprise encounter and Wyvrenhill told Colouredstar of the territory that they were residing in. The leader had gotten an excellent idea how his clan could take it's change and finally become something of it's own.
Colouredstar decided to drop any relations with the twolegs as their owners. He then announced to the clan that they would be residing in the school from then on, seeing as their former territory had been burnt down to ashes. It was also decided that the clan needed their own independence, to be strong and to prove their strength to the other clans. He was tired of how they ridiculed them for their kittypet roots. He made some drastic changes to the clan.
He first made the clan neutral, willing to help either side. He then renamed the clan positions and made slight modifications. The titles, Boss, Underboss, Medics, Impressionists, and Holligans replaced the leader, deputy, medicine cat, designers, and sun warriors. Slayers, Thugs, The Ladies, Jokers, and Veterans replaced warriors, apprentice, queens, kits and elders. Colouredstar added two new ranks to the roster as well. The Consigliere, a rank specially formulated for the Boss's children and the Freedom Fighters, an elite group of Slayers who seek out other clans and see if they need aid doing certain jobs or aid in battle. They also collect fees for their services.
Several members were angered, including Rainbowsong. She had been demoted during the announcing meeting and had been infuriated at the idea, leaving and turning her back on the clan. Lovelace {RPed by Switchy}, Colouredstar's mate was then promoted to the new position of Underboss. Colouredstar's son Freedomfighter {RPed by Darkeh} was promoted to Consigliere. Sabrestar, possessing his young son Froskit {rped by ??} interrupted the meeting and claimed that Colouredstar wasn't fit to lead. He had disappeared shortly after, threatening that the clan had not seen the last of him. The meeting drew to an end with the clan bonding together in the efforts to pull it all together.
Sunclan now serves as a Mafia styled clan. They await other clans to seek their aid then ask for a price in return for their services. They work as once big unit, hunting and training how to fight so they can prove to the other clans that they can hold their own without kittypet aid. They are a harder clan yet they share a more urban feel.
Things only continued to change more and more drastically from that point. Though Sabrestar had spoken out against Colouredstar's rule not long ago, he arrived back in SunClan and made amends with Colouredstar, returning to his former position as SunClan's medicine cat (then known as "Healers") under his original name Sabretooth. Things were relatively peaceful for the few moons after SunClan had moved into the school, adjusting to their new home. However, then another apocalyptic event took place in the form of meteors falling on and around SunClan's territory. In an effort to escape the destruction, SunClan temporarily sought shelter in ScarClan, however during the trip there, Colouredstar was struck by one of the meteors. He was stripped of every one of his lives as the Healers could do nothing to save him. During his death, Colouredstar apologized for the changes that he had made, saying that he was unfit to lead just as the Star Forest had told him. In an attempt to ensure it didn't happen again, one of his final decrees was to create the Divine position, which was to be filled by Frostpaw {rped by Fruity}, who would from then on be SunClan's bridge to the Star Forest and make sure that SunClan was run the way it should be in the future.
With Colouredstar's death, the current Underbosses -- Vertigo and Lovelace -- were promoted to leader, with Redfur {rped by Scribbles} serving as their deputy. Both of them did their best to console their distraught Clan in the days following Colouredstar's death. Not days after Vertigo went to receive his nine lives from the Star Forest, Frostpaw murdered a suicidal loner cat as an example to the Clan; he claimed that the Star Forest was determined to restore SunClan to it's former glory no matter what it cost, and they were forcing him to kill all suicidal cats because they were a burden to Sunclan. The Clan was in chaos over this new decree and both of the new leaders did their best to keep things under control, at first refusing to enforce the Star Forest's new rule. Because of this, the Star Forest once again sent raining meteors onto SunClan, which crippled many cats and blinded Lovelace. Both of the leaders were informed that the Star Forest would not hesitate to kill them and the rest of SunClan just like they did Colouredstar if they did not comply. Not wanting to watch their Clan's demise, both leaders reluctantly agreed to enforce the rule that suicidal cats must be killed, a decision that many cats disagreed with and were outraged by.
At this point, SunClan tried to further the "harsher" lifestyle that had been first imposed by Colouredstar. Again the rank names were changed, with "Hooligans" returning to their original names of "Silverblood" and "Freedom fighters" becoming "Enforcers". "Healers" were also renamed "Medics". Redfur was demoted as deputy and later replaced by Nineteen {rped by Chickadee}. During this time, SunClan was rampant with chaos; more cats than ever before were attempting suicide and thereafter being sentenced to death, cats were losing limbs and being crippled for defying the Star Forest, and peace was hard to come by. SunClan was dealing with much internal strife that neither of the two new leaders could control, especially considering that the force disrupting their Clan the most -- SunClan's once-benign ancestors, the Star Forest -- was beyond their control to fight. Frostbite also continued to kill cats, as once he received another gift from his spiritual ancestors, the Sight, he foresaw that Sabretooth was unhappy with Lovelace and Vertigo's rule and intended to take over SunClan once more, and murdered his father to stop him from doing so. When SunClan cats found the body, Frostbite was already there and had planted a ScarClanner's fur in his father's claws to cover up the murder, claiming that ScarClan had killed him. Because of this, tensions increased dramatically between SunClan and ScarClan.
Meanwhile, Frostbite took on an apprentice to succeed him in the Divine role named Twistpaw {rped by Ash}. He also created a new rank known as "Keepers" without Vertigo or Lovelace's consent, who would serve under the Divine and not the leaders. Vertigo considered this a challenge to his authority and confronted Frostbite about it, once during the meeting and again in private shortly after. During their private meeting, Frostbite confessed to having killed Sabretooth, father to both Frostbite and Vertigo. Outraged, Vertigo attacked Frostbite and brought him before the Clan to be executed. This didn't go as planned, however, when Frostbite seemingly committed suicide to avoid his punishment; little did they know, Frostbite had actually brainwashed another cat into taking his place in the meeting, meanwhile fleeing to RiverClan. But SunClan, having watched who they thought to be Frostbite committing suicide in front of the whole Clan, was again in uproar with anger toward Vertigo and Lovelace; with life in the Clan becoming unbearable, the cats of SunClan blamed their leaders. Stress surmounted on both cats in charge but they refused to resign and once again attempted to calm things down. Twistpaw took Frostbite's place as the new Divine and Keepers were appointed as a semi-HP. Shortly after, Lovelace also went to receive her nine lives from StarClan instead of the Star Forest, becoming Lovestar. She appointed her own deputy to serve alongside Nineteen, who was Infinitepossibility {rped by Silversun}.
Not long after Frostbite fled to RiverClan, ScarClan decided to lead an attack on SunClan due to the tensions caused by SunClan's false accusations regarding Sabretooth's death. Frostbite tried to make amends before the attack and come clean about his part in the crime, but they refused to listen. BloodClan and several other anti-Clans including the Elite attacked along with ScarClan in this battle, and SunClan was only able to fend off the enemy groups by requesting assistance from the other Clans. Despite this, many of SunClan's cats were still abducted, including the Underboss Infinitepossibility, an Enforcer, Firfleck {rped by Rudy} and one of the Medics, Espresso {rped by Frenchie}. Though Infinitepossibility and Firfleck escaped, returning to SunClan shortly thereafter, Espresso abandoned SunClan and decided to remain in BloodClan. Things had hit a very low point for SunClan and other cats followed in suit with Espresso.
While all of that was going on, Ace, who had still remained SunClan's Medic throughout the years, visited BloodClan during the latest anti-Clan attack and tried to talk them out of participating in future anti-Clan attacks against SunClan. When this didn't work, he felt that SunClan would be safer returning to the anti-Clan status they had back when Sabrestar was leader, and instead decided to negotiate with BloodClan about overthrowing Vertigo and Lovestar. Again BloodClan gathered it's forces and requested the help of the other anti-Clans to lead yet another attack on SunClan shortly after the first, this time led by Ace. During this attack, Ace spoke with Vertigo and Lovestar privately, requesting that they hand over their leadership before he called off the anti-Clan's attack. With SunClan faring better now than they had in the last battle, things were even and Vertigo and Lovestar refused him. Ace was later brought before the Clan, where Vertigo gave SunClan a choice and asked if they would rather Ace lead them than him. SunClan chose to keep Vertigo and Lovestar as their leaders, and Ace was consequently exiled for leading the attack on SunClan.
Many more battles with BloodClan took place after this, one of which was caused by the kidnapping of one of Vertigo's sons, Dragonkit {rped by Paris}, who Vertigo traded places with and became BloodClan's prisoner to keep safe. When Vertigo was later rescued by a SunClan patrol, BloodClan led another attack to recapture him. This attack failed, and more promotions / demotions took place in SunClan. Nineteen had disappeared, leaving Infinitepossibility as the sole deputy. Lovestar began to meet with Sabrestar (in the body of a new cat named "Fusion") in secret, and when she had a litter with him, left SunClan, leaving Vertigo as the only remaining leader. Infinitepossibility was also killed around this time, and Vertigo promoted two new deputies, Fairydust {rped by Perfy} and Freedomfighter {rped by Chrissy} to replace him.
Yet another attack almost occurred shortly after all of this when one of the newly promoted SunClan Silverbloods, Permafrost (rped by Feesh) brought some of his half-BloodClan kits to SunClan, and BloodClan came to reclaim them. ScarClan also began leading kit raids and attacks on SunClan during this time, and SunClan, exhausted by the many battles and wars, was only getting weaker and weaker. Finally, after a strange occurrence where many of SunClan's HPs vanished without a trace, Vertigo decided that SunClan was going to move out of the school and to a new home, where they would be far enough from the anti-Clans that battles would not be as frequent and where they would officially terminate the Divine position to rid the control of the Star Forest over SunClan. It would be a much-needed new beginning for the Clan.
[quote=Faux]After days of travelling, SunClan stumbled upon the territory of the Tribe of Burning Eclipse, who offered aid to the travelling cats in their time of need. The clan rested for four days before moving on, eventually stumbling upon the beach. This was where they made their new home, in a cozy beach resort very sitting to their name. After arriving, the ranks received a major makeover, abolishing the rank of Keeper, changing Enforcers to Sunguards, and restoring Impressionists to a full high position. Later, Freedomfighter was demoted from his position as deputy, replaced by Permafrost {rped by ??}. Due to issues with traitors (namely Mairead {rped by ??} and Spencer {rped by}, who both left SunClan for their enemy, BloodClan), Vertigo instated that all traitors to SunClan should be sentenced to exile.
On a much happier note, it was during this time that SunClan hosted its first-ever Sun Ball (along with events like the Sun Feast and Sun Games! This would later become a very famous event within the clan, and while it was the first Sun Ball ever hosted at the time it would certainly not be the last.
Not long after, as part of a staff-ordered demotion due to inactivity, Vertigo was demoted and Fairydust skipped over, and leadership fell to Permafrost, although he allowed Fairy to keep her rank. One of his first actions as leader was abolishing the rank of Maids and creating a new one called Ambassador, tasked with sending messages and the likes. Things went mostly smoothly for a little while, save for one apprentice named Codepaw {rped by ??}, who committed the crime of killing a clanmate. In a fierce demonstration of his new power, Permafrost sentenced his own son to execution and made a public example of him. Fairydust was captured by BloodClan, and Magni {rped by ??} was temporarily made deputy. When she returned Magni stepped down once more, but as she became inactive she was demoted. Turmoil with BloodClan continued.
Larger change was on its way, however. In the coming days the beach resort in which SunClan made their home burned to the ground, forcing a move once more. They ended up in an old mansion in the nearby woods, and to suit the new territory Permafrost would be giving the ranks new names. Boss or Leader was now Lord/Lady, deputy or Underboss was now Captain (and to this rank Marshall Lee {rped by ??} was appointed), Silverbloods were Wyvern Knights and Sunguards were Wyvern Squires (and a head of the ‘Wyverns’ was instated), medics were Physicians, Impressionists became a semi-high position, Slayers or warriors become Knights, apprentices Squires, while kits and elders remained the same. It was yet another fresh start, a more regal era than the mobster theme.
In honor of so much change, a competition was held to become a Wyvern Squire, and shortly after a large carnival was held. Marshall Lee also died in this time, and Magni was promoted in his place. Things had died down quite a bit and so BloodClan was dropped to a neutral status, much to the distaste of many SunClanners. Soon after Permafrost would change the clan’s status to an anti-clan, which was met with great hostility by most.
Eventually BloodClan was made an ally (once more a very disputed-over decision) and SunClan went to war with RadicalClan instead, which later ended temporarily when SunClan burned their territory down. For a the upcoming winter holidays, a winter ‘snow tournament’ was held, and things within the clan continued smoothly. Despite many raids and scuffles to drive home the change to a more harsh SunClan, demotions, promotions, and events continued as per usual for a long while. It was also during this time that Nidalee {rped by ??} was promoted to Captain alongside Magni. The Wyvern ranks received a small change, becoming Phoenix Knight and Phoenix Squires to fit the clan’s name better.
Not long after, however. Permafrost’s reign would draw to a close with the death of the infamous leader. In his place Nidalee and Magni would step up next.
Under a joint leadership, both Magni and Nidalee ascended to the rank of leader. Together they made Impressionists and open rank anyone could join, but refrained from choosing a Captain until a later date. The secret rank of Agent, installed by Permafrost, was also combined with Ambassador. When they did chose a deputy, there was actually one for each leader, and Merlin {rped by ??} and Peppermint {rped by ??} stepped up the the position.
Things went nicely, under a much calmer leadership than that of Permafrost, until Nidalee was possessed by an angry spirit named Yami {rped by ??}. Yami was much harsher than the kind Lady, and his much harsher take on clan life clashed with that of his co-leader Magni, who still rejected the life of an anti-clanner. Still, life went on, with the duo hosting raids and even an activity contest. By the time the contest was over, Nidalee had finally gotten back to her normal self, but all-too-soon after Nidalee died, leaving Magni to take the reigns alone.
Magni began lone his era with the typical promotions and demotions as well as a funeral for the deceased Lady, and after deciding that the title of anti-clan was unfit for SunClan, they shifted to a neutral status. Another Sun Ball, the very same one almost a year ago during Permafrost’s time, was also held, along with a new Sun Tournament. Peppermint was also demoted from Captain, but Merlin remained in his position.
In effort to bring SunClan back to a more creative era, Magni put heavy emphasis on restoring the shops system and bringing in more Impressionists, and also made the Ambassador rank so that they could also trade with allies to get other clans involved in the shops system.
Soon after, a large event took place, in which all of SunClan lost their memory! Magni himself discovered that they were stolen by a mysterious god. The clan disputed heavily over what should be done, since no one remembered anything, and when Magni received a message telling him he was leader, the clan nearly broke out into a civil war over whether or not he was really their leader. However, they were saved very narrowly from this when their memories were returned once more by the god, however Magni was also demoted shortly after, leaving the current Physician, Boo (or Mixtape/Funeralsuit at the time) {rped by Werden?} to take over as leader.
Immediately Boo did a mass demotion for everyone except his deputy, and tried out a more militaristic theme for the clan, which meant another rank overhaul. Lord became General and Captain was to be Lieutenant General. Phoenix Knights and Squires were merged to become Major Generals and Ambassadors became Brigaders. However, this decision was questioned due to the many other clans with similar setups, and so the idea was scrapped altogether. Instead, Lord stayed the same, deputy became Duke/Duchess, Major Generals turned into Gladiators, and Brigaders kept their name. Physicians also became Doctors and Physician Apprentices were made Nurses.
Boo did want to carry out Magni’s plans to return to their roots, however, and continued putting great emphasis on Impressionism as an open rank. He even created a monthly market to show off all their shops and trade with allies, and also turned SunClan into a pro-clan once more. For a short time the ranks of Doctor and Nurse were open, but became closed once again due to the arguments it caused.
To suit all these new changes, SunClan moved into Cathedral. Witchcraft {rped by??} was demoted from Duchess, and in her place Luke {rped by ??} and Ashton {rped by ??} were made the new Dukes, and a Head Gladiator rank was implemented. Near this time of many new changes, Boo also implemented a ‘fighting force’ to prove that while SunClan was pro-clan once more they still weren’t meant to be trifled with.
The rank of Lord was changed to King, in order to try and give the place a more medieval theme. Yet again a Sun Ball was held, in effort to bring the ‘sun’ back to SunClan. Once more RadicalClan became SunClan’s main rival, and for a brief time the clan attempted to become more spiritual by developing a religion that lizards were sacred ancestors to dragons. Ranks were shuffled around once again, with Gladiators returning to the title of Sunguards, and an addition of a restored version of the new rank Shopkeeper was introduced, although the name was later changed to Chamberlains and was given more duties as a welcoming comittee. Assistant Dukes/Duchesses were also added, as well as a head of the Brigaders.
After some time, though, Boo was demoted by the Star Council, and Ashton was appointed leader in his place.
Ashton’s era kicked off by finally ending the ongoing war with RadicalClan. Many were surprised by this decision, but the clan had dropped most of their anti-male tendencies which was a good part of the reason they’d became enemies in the first place. Along with this, the clan became neutral once more, as he felt neither the labels of pro or anti fit them, although they now had no enemies. Ashton made it clear that he, like Boo, wanted to mold SunClan back into the creative place it had once been. While putting more emphasis on members of the clan having shops, a currency system was introduced. Pebbles or rocks were able to be used as coins, and gems found in nearby caves were used in exchange for much more expensive items. This currency system was never officially abandoned, by largely failed.
Things went smoothly for many moons, save for the brief capture of Ashton by a member of the Insignia (BoneClan), who had been allies at the time. Despite this, ties with the other clan did not necessarily worsen, as it was suspected to be a single member acting alone. Even so, this was just the beginning, as things were just starting to go south. Fiona {rped by ??}, a Doctor of the clan at the time, accidentally set the cathedral aflame one night, forcing the SunClanners to evacuate. However, amidst the flames, the current Duke, Luke, was killed.
With their home in ashes and their deputy dead, the clan reluctantly carried on. In the following days they received much aid from allied clans, but eventually had to move on, settling down in an abandoned twoleg neighborhood that echoed of the clan’s kittypet roots. To replace their fallen deputy, a contest was held to find a new one, but Luke rose from the dead and returned to his clan soon after their arrival to their new home. Ashton swiftly reinstated him to his former rank, and promoted Michael {rped by ??} alongside him. The rank of Assistant Duke/Duchess was also replaced with a rank called Nobles, and to this position Vanillatwilight {rped by ??} and Seafoam {rped by Wafture} were the first to ever be promoted.
Just as things began looking up with SunClan making itself comfortable in its new home, Ashton fell ill. Seafoam stepped up and offered to leader temporarily, due to the death of Michael and inactivity of Luke. Ashton, pleased with his performance and the way he lead meetings, asked him to step up to the rank of Duke and officially demoted Luke. Not even a week after Seafoam’s promotion Ashton chose to step down, ending this era and beginning Seafoam’s.
Seafoam (or Grimnyte at the time) began by promoting Vanillatwilight to the position of Duchess. He made it clear he was going to change some things around the clan, and even mentioned scrapping the medieval theme and bringing back the ‘sunny’ aspect of SunClan. The first change to the ranks system was removing Chamberlains and adding Volunteers, a semi-high position skilled in both fighting and herbs meant to aid Doctors and Nurses. In a later meeting, Seafoam installed a Vice-Leader rank, and to this he promoted Vanillatwilight, and her formerly-occupied rank of deputy remained unfilled for a short period.
Cain {rped by Sock-Walker} and Ricky {rped by ??} were later bumped up the the position of Duke/Duchess, but with another rank overhaul, King became Boss and Vice-leader became Underboss once more as SunClan attempted to return to the mob theme, along with a mix of other rank names from the clan’s past. The aforementioned deputies were now Viceroys, Sunguards became Silverbloods, Brigaders turned into Enforcers, Doctors/Nurses were made Medics/Medic Trainees, while Volunteers and Nobles kept their name. Knights/warrior returned to Slayers, Squires/apprentices became Thugs once more; kits, queens, and elders also changed into Jokers, Ladies, and Veterans.
Mere weeks after so much big change packed into such a short amount of time, Seafoam died, thus ending his first reign and leading Vanillatwilight to ascend to the newly-renamed position of Boss.
Vanillastar started out slowly, her first meeting honoring the late Seafoam and encouraging the clan to pick up their activity. However, by her next meeting Vanilla had decided to switch up just a few of the ranks, making Nobles into Captains and changing Thugs back to Trainees, and the rank of Chamberlain was also brought back.
While things continued on, a new tradition was introduced to the clan- familiars! At around the same time creatures became apprentices, they would form a close bond with a small animal they would find, which would become their very own familiar. Most of the clan responded well to this, and familiars began cropping up all over the place. To go along with this, Vanillastar decided to change the clan from the mob theme into one they’d never seen before- a wizard theme.
The leader became Auror, the position of Underboss was abandoned and deputies were now Mages. Silverbloods and Captains merged to become Sorcerers/Sorceresses, while Chamberlains became Warlocks and Enforcers were to be Prefects. The medic team was turned into Druids and Druid students, while the rank of Volunteer was demolished. Normal warriors were to be Wizards, while Trainees, Jokers, Ladies, and Veterans were changed to Students, Squibs, Enchantresses, and elders. Alongside the two branches of Wizard and Impressionist, Therapists were introduced as a third open rank.
Meanwhile, the neighborhood was being threatened by smog from a nearby city. Many SunClanners began developing sore throats and a cough from the smoke, and many even died. Forced to move once more, the clan packed their bags. Leaving the houses behind, the clan eventually found an abandoned summer camp which they donned their new home, complete with cabins and buildings for all the SunClanners, not to mention a lake and plenty of interesting landmarks. As soon as they’d all settled in, Vanillastar did a mass demotion, and also reinstalled the SunClan army from Boo’s former reign.
Not long after, however, Permafrost returned- but this time not to SunClan. The former leader was not at the helm of ColouredClan, and had a bone to pick with Vanillastar after turning his powerful anti-clan into a flowery clan of wizards. He launched numerous raids on them and the clans eventually declared war on each other.
Vanillastar still had yet to promote a new deputy after the mass demotion, but eventually asked Fargo {rped by ??} to become the new Mage. SunClan continued to fight back against ColouredClan, and with the Living Legend site-wide event happening as well, the clan was struggling. They continued launching raids and battling Permafrost and his new clan, but were also busy simultaneously defending themselves from the invading humans. In their weakened state, BloodClan was able to swoop in and take over by taking Vanillastar hostage!
ColouredClan joined them as well, and the two clans had troops stationed in SunClan to keep them under their thumbs. However SunClanners were already plotting to overthrow them. After weeks of planning, they gathered up their allies and successfully rebelled against their oppressors, and Vanillastar returned to her throne.
Despite their triumphs, the clan seemed to agree that it would be best to move out of the summer camp, due to all the bad things that had occurred there recently. Seafoam, the very same feline as the former leader, was actually the one to find their new home. SunClan came to live in a beautiful clearing full of cherry blossom trees with an Asian shrine nearby. Yet again, it was a much-needed fresh start.
Due to their recent turmoil, SunClan was much more empathetic towards other clans in need, and temporarily shared their camp with the Diverging (ArcadianClan) when they were in a time of need. In their new home, Vanillastar decided it was time to shuffle around the ranks once more. She was the first in SunClan’s history to introduce a proper branches system. Elders were renamed Recordkeepers (and temporarily given their own exclusive position called Necromancers). Squibs/kits and Enchantresses/queens were renamed children and mothers, and Students/apprentices and Wizards/warriors became simple trainees and members.
However, within the members there were now three branches to choose from: healing, military, and social. In the healing branch, the general population were dubbed Therapists, and just above them was a semi-high position called Seer, and above them were Alchemist, headed by one Master Alchemist. Within the military branch, the general population were warriors, and their semi-high position were Blacksmiths, and then there were Weaponsmasters, Warlords, and a single Master Warlord. As for the social branch, the general population were Impressionists. Them there was a semi-high position welcoming committee of Oracles, and then Illusionists and one Master Illusionist. Outside of these branches, deputy was renamed Spellcaster and leader was to be Runemaster.
With Fargo long gone, Vanillastar set up a contest in search of a Spellcaster, and the winner was none other than Boo, the former leader! Shortly after this promotion, however, Vanillastar was captured and Boo was forced to lead temporarily. This promotion became permanent, however, when Vanillastar returned as only a corpse on the border, dead.
A funeral was held promptly for the death of Vanillastar, but the clan was forced to move on. Boo swiftly put changes into place, merging Warlords, Master Illusionist, and Master Alchemists into one rank simply referred to as Branch Heads. The same went for Weaponsmasters, Illusionists, and Alchemists, which became Branch Members. Blacksmiths, Seers, Oracles were soon combined as well. He also promoted Seafoam, another former leader, to the position of Spellcaster/deputy.
He also brought back many things from his previous reign, including the shop system. He also introduced tokens, named after the items used in SunClan’s older traditions, as a form of currency. Weddings were also brought back, in order to add some culture to the clan. But ghosts (as odd as it sounded) had now invaded SunClan’s territory, forcing them to leave the Asian shrine. Tired of moving, they chose not to travel too far, and ended up in a beach village with a nearby castle on a cliff.
Due to confusion about ranks, Boo scrapped the branches altogether. Instead, he returned to a much simpler time, making the ranks as follows: Leader, Deputy, Silverbloods, Sunguards, Divines. The war with ColouredClan was still ongoing at this point, and Boo encouraged raids on them. In attempt to make the clan more tough, Boo stated that he wanted them to become more mob-like, as they were in the past. He allowed capturing and stealing from enemies, but the clan remained neutral.
It was not until after many more battles that SunClan chose to become an anti-clan once more for the first time since Permafrost’s reign. Since the clan had no healers at the time save for those who chose to take it on as a title, due to the many injuries obtained during the war Boo brought back the healing rank, this time dubbed Physician once more.
Boo was demoted by the Star Council once more shortly after this change, and once again, Seafoam stepped up in his place as leader.
Seafoam’s first action as leader was to declare that he would not be choosing a deputy until he saw someone he thought fit for the job. Like Boo, he also encouraged the clan to take on the mob/trickster theme more heavily, and made it so that anyone could lead raids on ColouredClan. But just as his reign began, it seemed it was bound to end just as quickly, for only days after his first meeting Seafoam died.
With no deputy, SunClanners were lost- until not even a day later the leader made his return. Relieved, the clan once again set to work in the war with ColouredClan. They even teamed up temporarily with the Exiles, who are enemies with everyone, to raid them. Meanwhile, over in ColouredClan, a new leader had stepped up, one who sent a note to SunClan offering to end the war. Most of SunClan, tired and beaten, agreed with the note, but Seafoam refused to oblige. Fighting continued.
Almost a month after he’d been first promoted, Seafoam finally chose not one, but two deputies, asking Mistdream {rped by Mistdream} and Bucky {rped by bears} to step up. However, in a turn of events, Seafoam was possessed by an evil spirit named Orpheus {rped by Wafture}, who claimed if SunClan did not obey him he would rid of Seafoam permanently. SunClan was forced to listen and obey, and Orpheus did a mass demotion.
Orpheus, in order to squash any potential rebellion, publicly tortured both of the newly-promoted deputies. He was also known for killing and maiming many SunClanners at the time in order to enforce his rule. One of the clanners, Imperialexecution {rped by Fandango}, who had been close with Seafoam before these events, knew of his deteriorating mental state even before the leader’s possession, and agreed to kill him if he ever began hurting his own clan. Knowing that Orpheus was beyond stopping, he risked killing the leader in order to bring him back by slaying Orpheus during a public meeting. Thankfully, Seafoam was okay, and rose back to leadership, despite how many SunClanners still feared him after being possessed.
Elsewhere, BoneClan (an ally at the time) was having its own troubles with takeovers, and their leader who had forcefully seized hold of the clan had captured and killed two SunClanners, Atticus {rped by Impy} and Ashton {rped by ??}. Seafoam, enraged (despite the fact that BoneClan pleaded for mercy and that it had been a tyrant leader and not the innocent BoneClanners kept under his thumb), dropped them down to enemies and declared free reign on them. Most of SunClan disagreed with this, and eventually, after some discussion with the BoneClan leader, they were raised to simply neutrals.
Talk had been happening with the leader of ColouredClan as well, and eventually both sides agreed to stop the fighting. Neutrality was also shaky with ShadowClan at this time, due to drama with one of their members committing a crime against SunClan.
Because of issues with cliques, Bucky and Mistdream, the current deputies, were dropped all the way down to warriors. Seafoam claimed he would allow them a second change, and Mist was eventually promoted, but only to Divine, and Bucky had seemingly disappeared. Instead, Steve {rped by Alloy} was promoted to the position of deputy shortly after, and was forced to step up to leader temporarily for a short time when Seafoam disappeared. However, Seafoam did return, along with Bucky, the missing former deputy.
During a later meeting, Cain, a high position in the clan and former deputy, lashed out physically at Seafoam, which set into motion all whole set of events. Seafoam turned against his own clan, massacring them left and right, and even eating their corpses and poisoning the clan’s water. It was like when Orpheus had taken over, except this time it was really Seafoam doing all the damage. SunClanners were forced to turn to their allies to plead for help against the tyrant leader. Seafoam also reinstated the branches with Silverbloods becoming Warlords, Master Alchemists, and Master Illusionists. Sunguards became Weaponmasters, Alchemists an Illusionists. Divines became Blacksmiths, Oracles and Seers.
In a one big grand finale, Seafoam set fire to the village, and died within the inferno he himself had created.
