Gamma rushed in after her, focusing his attention on one of the guards. They'd be a much bigger issue than the scientists, he knew that. Leera activated his power as soon as the door opened, moving into the room undetected as Alpha rushed past him and after Sapphire, targeting the scientists.

Leera shrugged. "I meant sleep, but okay."

Topaz's eyes widened at the sounds, looking past his mother and into the carnage ahead, shaking.

Leera undid his invisibility in time to leap at a guard, tearing the spiked weapon from the others hand, immediately aiming to slam it down at the other, only for the guard to catch it and cause a loud clanging sound to ring out. Leera's eyes widened at the sight of the other man's hands. Were they made of metal?!

"Leera." He introduced himself, looking at the other werekitty there as well. He couldn't really help but stare. She was gorgeous..."

"Okay, then don't." Leera kept his voice even, picking up on the offense. He hadn't meant to.

"So what do you propose instead?" Mars looked at his oldest granddaughter as she protested, asking with genuine curiosity. He wasn't positive if Jagger wouldn't speak, but he didn't deserve to be a hostage.

"That sounds good!" Lucas smiled, happy to have settled on something. Aden pat Hercule on the shoulder, winking.

"Bet you pleased him!" He teased, thought Hercule swatted his hand.

Topaz blinked, taking a step back as his mother blocked his vision. The boy reached up to cover his ears as another scream rang out.

Leera's eyes flashed as he heard his daughter yell, quickly abandoning his fight to turn to hers, rushing over to jump at the guard who touched his daughter.

"When should we go?" Lucas looked at Katie, knowing that the others in the room had no plans.

"Do you want me to bring you anything?" Leera offered, watching her.

"He doesn't deserve that, Sapphire." Mars replied calmly, understanding her rage. It was completely justified. "I don't want to ruin this kid or his family's life right now by keeping him here, though."

Leera glanced at Torrent, smiling a bit before looking back at the new woman.

"And... Who're you guys?" Leera asked.

"Let's go sooner than later, I'm hungry." Hercule spoke up, reaching into his pocket to take out his phone and to check the time. "It's five." He announced.

Topaz whimpered, burying his face into his brother. The screams were so loud... And they kept coming...

Leera clawed at the guard, ignoring as the sword cut deep along his arm. He was angry, no one was allowed to hurt his daughter like that!

Topaz's eyes snapped as a sudden movement drew his attention as a scientist rushed from the room, blood covering her form. The girl's eyes were wide with shock from the chaos of the other room, but she froze as she exited in front of the remaining family on the outside.

A sudden burst of pain shot through Leera's head as he was punched in the temple, getting knocked off the other guard. He looked back in time to see the previous guard he was attacking, the one with metal hands, reaching to grab a dagger from his belt and lunge at Leera.

"How soon is soon?" Lucas asked as Herclue stood, walking towards the stairs.

"I'm getting changed now." The Frenchman responded curtly, and Lucas nodded. That soon, then.

"I understand that, and I don't want that either, but I also don't want to start taking innocent hostages, either." Mars replied. "We're between a rock and a hard place right now."

"I'll make a list of what you want from the apartment." Leera decided, pulling out his phone to begin typing. "List em off."

"Mars!" The older devil yelled out his name, and Leera tilted his head in slight confusion at the loudness.

"Nice to meet you two." Leera smiled kindly at them both, as Conductor had stopped following as soon as the other people had been spotted.

"I slept in these. I'm not going out like this." Hercule didn't look back as he disappeared up the stairway.

"We've been so pampered and lazy here." Aden grinned. "And Hercule cares a lot about his appearance!"
