    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;][justify]The young feline had been roaming the camp, searching for something to do. For a fair amount of time, her attempts were in vain, but she really didn't want to give up; sitting around doing nothing all day would just be boring.

    Ugh, I wish these stupid voices would shut up already. she thought to herself, and as she did so an unfamiliar face caught her eye. Huh, well there was the cure to her boredom. Flicking her tail, Karmicpaw padded off in Jack's direction, stopping in front of him and adjusting her glasses with a forepaw. "Hello, what's your name?" she greeted him in her usual semi-monotone voice.

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;][justify]Though she wasn't normally a fan of large groups (not that there were really many people gathered, but still), the lynx point was dead set on meeting as many people as she could; she'd only recently joined and desperately did not want to become a loner. And so she padded up to the group with a flick of her dark tail, dipping her head slightly when she arrived. Padmé was the only person she recognized among them that she recognized. "Hi," she murmured in greeting. "I'm Karmicpaw." The apprentice then fell silent, watching Percival draw as if in a trance.

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;][justify]Karmicpaw had to admit, it was tough getting used to living among so many animals after such a long period of solitude. She had been a bit overwhelmed upon joining, and often wondered if she would be able to handle it. Her shyness wasn't much help, either, and for a while she'd worried that she would end up alone, with no friends whatsoever.

    She'd met some very nice people within the past few days, however. There was Castlekit for one, and he was absolutely adorable. Felix, too, was quite pleasant to be around – very welcoming and genial. Though she had tangled with some… less desirable figures, too. Namely Dewclaw. Just the thought of the snarky female made her feel small.

    But other than that, Karmicpaw was really beginning to enjoy her new life in Windclan. Everything was so new, so exciting… except for those damn voices. They just never shut up, did they? It was the only thing she had left from her past, save for her notebook and glasses. In fact, she was writing in said notebook right now (thankfully, she'd managed to get a hold of a pen at long last), though the chattering voices in the back of her mind were quite distracting.

    "Where the hell am I?" one whispered.

    "Yikes!" said another, as if in response. "Where the hell am I?"

    She sat up, frustrated. Why did they have to be so loud? They used to be incoherent, impossible to understand, and though hearing them clearly for the first time had been quite intriguing, it was simply getting annoying at this point. "Ugh! Just shut up already!"

    [color=transparent][size=3pt]a

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;][justify]In her vexation, the slim feline didn't initially notice Jack's sudden appearance. Only when he spoke did she realize he was there, and she let out a startled gasp as she jumped to her paws. For a moment she could only gawk at him, heart still pounding. Damn, why did she have to be so jumpy? She probably looked like an idiot!

    Sighing, Karmic relaxed, allowing her dark fur to lie flat, and then looked up to meet her clanmate's gaze. He seemed quite placid, friendly, and his demeanor certainly helped her to settle down. Wearily, she nodded, laughing sheepishly. "Ah, sorry about that. I can be a bit… jittery sometimes," the fem apologized with a wave of her tail. "Yeah, I remember you. I'm Karmicpaw." Wasn't he the guy that had stared at her butt?

    At his inquiry, she shrugged, leaning forward to take a closer look at the beverages. "Never had it before, but it looks pretty good." Curious, she reached forward to take one, sniffing it before taking a sip. A pleased expression danced across her face, and she smiled softly. "It is really good!"

    [color=transparent][size=3pt]a

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;][justify]Tilting her head, the quiet apprentice followed his gaze, azure eyes widening when the realization hit her. What the…? "I… uh…" she stammered, looking rather flustered. "K–karmicpaw." Honestly, what else could she say? "No… nothing's wrong…?" Crap, she probably sounded like an idiot.

    [color=transparent][size=3pt]a

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;][justify]/pfft, great minds think alike <3

    Man, thank goodness there was no initiation; otherwise, she wasn't sure if she would have been a member of Windclan herself at that point. The apprentice let out a tiny sigh, blinking down at the petite feline curiously as she spoke. Peachpaw, she'd said? That was a cute name, and it matched her fur color. How fitting. Nodding slowly, she decided it was time to introduce herself. "Welcome to the clan. I'm Karmicpaw." The lynx point smiled wearily.

    A look of mild surprise danced across her face when Drippingkit made her offer. A tour? This late at night? How could the child manage such a thing, when Karmicpaw could barely keep her eyes open? Kids were weird.

    [color=transparent][size=3pt]a

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;][justify]The fact that he didn't seem to be judging her made the apprentice feel quite a bit better, though her embarrassment lingered. His reasoning was pretty solid, however, and she nodded, laughing quietly. Her? Good reflexes? The praise came as a bit of surprise, frankly; she'd never been too confident in any of her abilities. So while she couldn't completely agree, it was nice, hearing him say it. "Heh, thanks."

    She took another sip of the tea, relishing its delicious flavor. Upon hearing his inquiry, she abandoned the cup and shook her head. "Nope. I lived on my own for most of my life, and I dunno how to make tea, so… yeah." Karmicpaw shrugged helplessly.

    For a moment she was quiet, unsure of what else to say. Then, "It's cool that you can teleport. I can't really do anything special." She frowned.

    [color=transparent][size=3pt]a

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;][justify]Hesitantly, the young apprentice made her way over, standing a little ways behind Jack. So they were to offer suggestions, huh? She didn't really have anything in mind, though she did like Kodapaw's idea… "I… I like the sound of a buddy system." she spoke up, though her voice came out a bit quiet. She really could use someone experienced to help her settle in a bit more.

    [color=transparent][size=3pt]a

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;][justify]yO so how're these nerds all gonna meet for the first time
    idk i was just thinking about it

    [color=transparent][size=3pt]a

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;][justify]mm true
    oH are any of their clans enemies with each other? maybe two could meet when one's captured by their clan and they're suddenly able to hear one voice extra loud and they look at each other like 'oh shit'

    [color=transparent][size=3pt]a

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;][justify]uhh im not sure :0
    i can pm them though

    [color=transparent][size=3pt]a

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;][justify]Now that was an attractive offer. For a moment she was quiet, thinking about all of the teas she could make with the help of Jack. She smiled, nodding once again. "That sounds really nice," she admitted, expression brightening considerably. Fire was something the apprentice actually had a fair amount of knowledge on; she found it quite interesting as well as beautiful, for the way it danced about was rather entrancing.

    She chuckled a bit nervously at his next remark, noticing the odd expression dancing across his face. And then her face fell. He'd heard her shouting? Damn. Throughout the conversation, Jack's distraction had reduced the voices to a soft buzz in the back of her mind. But now that her mind was back on them, they were rapidly becoming more and more noticeable, whispering back and forth as if having a conversation of their own.

    "Why do I keep hearing voices? Why won't they go away…"

    "Ugh, tell me about it," Karmicpaw muttered under her breath, looking rather exasperated. She then sat up straight and blinked, azure eyes growing wide upon realizing what she'd done. Well shit.

    Jack wore a knowing look, and she didn't like it. It was almost like he knew about them. "Well… uh… you see…" Crap, where was she supposed to start? Could she really tell him about them? Would he think she was crazy? "I kinda… hear voices in my head? And… it was disrupting my writing…"

    [color=transparent][size=3pt]a

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;][justify]"How are there so many of you?"

    Karmicpaw laughed, now smiling humorously. "Ah, I wondered the same thing when I first joined," the young female mused. The amount of members had certainly been overwhelming, and its sheer size still amazed her. Granted, she'd only become a part of the clan a few days ago, but still. "It still boggles me."

    [color=transparent][size=3pt]a

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;][justify]sure, but how would it go down?

    [color=transparent][size=3pt]a

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;][justify]Ugh, what was this place? One moment, the lynx point had been roaming about, exploring a little ways outside of Windclan territory, and the next she was… here. Wherever "here" was. How had she even ended up so far away from home? Honestly, she seriously needed to work on spacing out less; had she been unlucky, her unmindfulness could have gotten her into some sort of danger! Karmicpaw shivered at the thought of it, steadily becoming more and more anxious as she padded along in search of the way back.

    After a little while, she began to listen to the soft murmur of voices in the back of her head; their constant chatter helped to take her mind off of her dilemma.

    "This guy just called me a nerd…"

    "I really wish I could run as fast as everyone else…"

    Their statements had been getting quite personal as of late, the apprentice noted mildly as she trekked through the unfamiliar land. It made her wonder… were they real people she was hearing? For her entire life, she'd thought they were figments of her imagination. That she wasn't completely sane. But now she wasn't so sure.

    [color=transparent][size=3pt]a

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;][justify]His lack of shock startled her; he… wasn't creeped out? No judgmental stares? Nothing? How strange. For the first part of her short life, she'd considered the voices inside of her head to be completely normal – they were a core part of her. But after she'd mentioned them to someone a while back, they hadn't reacted too well, and that was when she'd begun to realize that, hey, maybe there was something off about her. Maybe she was just out of her mind, and the voices weren't real, simply figments of her imagination. And she'd accepted it, had never considered herself completely sane, and she'd never brought them up again.

    So when Jack immediately accepted her explanation, she was astonished. Her eyes widened even further, her jaw dropped. He… he even asked for further information. He was interested in what she had to say, interested in those damned voices. "N-no… I can only hear them. They just keep talking and talking – it gets… pretty annoying sometimes. They never go away." The glasses-wearing apprentice frowned. "I really don't know why I hear them."

    She nodded slowly at his quick clarification, trying to process it. He… was a demon? "Uhh, I didn't even know demons were, like, real." she admitted hesitantly, starting to wonder if she was truly the crazy one. "Oh… yeah, the tea. Yeah, we should definitely make some soon…" the lynx point trailed off awkwardly, adjusting her spectacles with a small cough.

    [color=transparent][size=3pt]a

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;][justify]like i said earlier, welcome to the crew!! <3

    ah, that would be funny cx
    who makes the thread?

    [color=transparent][size=3pt]a

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;][justify]She just… really needed to get away from Windclan. Not that it was bad, oh no. In fact, she quite liked it there; everyone was so nice and welcoming, especially that demon-guy, Jack. He'd even promised to show her how to make tea, which she was rather excited about.

    But even so, her new home could be a bit overwhelming at times. It was just so big. Honestly, she couldn't believe the sheer amount of members it had, and often wondered how the territory managed to contain everyone. It was truly amazing. But she'd never been one for large crowds, and often felt a bit uncomfortable around too many people. So she'd decided to take a walk.

    [color=transparent][size=3pt]a
