the enemy of humanity
is disaster and disorder — tags and bio
It started with the impact of slamming on the ground when she returned to the Veil via a capture gone awry. That action sent a jolt of pain across her body that had never ceased, slowly as she heals her spirit it recedes only to show up in a new spot, this chronic pain that Fayina suffers from was bearable at first, but now it began to take a toll on her mental well being, putting her in a state of what is akin to a spiritual rut, unable to access some of her powers, feeling emotionally confused day by day. Though the swelling in her tailbone was gone it is replaced by pain that comes from her stomach, just under what would be her navel and along her spine. She ignores it in favour of her duties but today it's particularily painful, and so to distract herself she walks the hallways of the Ruins, concealing the look of exhaustion that hides in her clouded eyes. The woman reflects on her previous actions with shame, it was safe to say Fay was a bit of a mess right now - but she had no right to be considering there were others who were going through much worse.
Right now, amidst all this sorrow, she was looking for something to do. Anything.

Fayina was quite eager to replace the ring that hung on her neck that she had buried a few weeks back. Though her engagement became null she was eager to replace it with a symbol of her loyalty, and that she would never again be drawn to frivolous things such as infatuation and the like. The shadowy mutt regarded her leader with respect, bowing as a sign of courtesy to her. Though they were friends she still regarded status in every situation. Fayina didn't warrant any respectful greeting as her previous status was unknown to them. She plopped herself on her haunches, pondering on what task she would be given.

✧ — She felt it to be unhealthy to dwell on the past, but sometimes those thoughts would fester in her mind and she couldn't take it anymore. As a woman with years of experience both living with a group and living alone, there was a lot for Fayina to be guilty about. Currently that guilt and feelings of shame consumed her, she lay in the ruins on her back, thinking long and hard about all the mistakes she made. Leaving in the first place was one of them, most certainly, but then her abrasive nature as a child that caused her to push people away - rendering her experience as a kid being quite disliked by the other kids. Then there was the kicker, the state in which she had left ShadowClan. She had led them into a glorious time, but then passed the torch onto someone who was unlike her in nature.
I shouldn't have left them with Sango. I didn't even like her. She thinks, looking back on how her successor led them into war and tarnish. I wonder what happened to her in the end. Did the woman meet her demise? Maybe she was still around to tell her story. That thought send a jolt of pain down her spine, all these unwelcome feelings causing her to shake her head. It was obvious that she was visibly bothered, but there was nothing to distract themselves.
Fayina looked ill, but she didn't have a fever. She didn't know what was happening to her.

✧ — The Aeternums really needed to give it a rest, all this loss was starting to bum her out. She didn't particularily know much of Ambedo, but now the blind woman supposed she never would. Considering she couldn't read, she only had to go off of what Faustine said as a guide. Her mind instantly shifted to the worse - the kid had died, or was already dying. And so as she severely misinterpreted the situation, she padded over to where Faustine stood and tilted her head. But she didn't smell death, she smelled the lingering scent of him slowly trailing away. "What... is going on?" The sightless sha was extremely confused.

✧ — Fayina would be flattered to know that she had been confused for a ghost. Her beliefs centered heavily around the two sides of the same coin - the earth and heaven, and she devoted herself to being a vessel for the spirits to connect with their lost friends. Fayina had what she would call heavens' eyes, and the dramatic irony was that she could not see the material plane, but far beyond it into the spirit world.
Upon his exclamation it was the lilac canine that would immediately pin her ears back, a jolt of pain flowing through her. Loud noises were not exactly the most pleasing to the ear when it was the primary sense you had to rely on. She does not feel his gaze boring into her cloudy eyes, though if she did she would likely scold him for rudely staring.
She registers his speech but it is in one ear and out the other. It was not often she met someone who spoke more oddly than her, but his olden Shakespearean-like mannerisms made the monotonous and stern woman look normal. Fayina stares blankly ahead, as if she is pretending she doesn't understand English. The words decipher in her mind and what she gathers is his name, Honorcode (she hopes), and he was lost, and needed to find his way back to the Tribe. Whatever that was. Fay didn't pay much attention to anything other than the Veil and the Copse, the former being her sole loyalty and the latter being the subject of her ambassador position. She wasn't aware that tribes we're even still around.
"No. I do not even know what the Tribe is." She answers, her tail dragging on the ground behind her. "And I doubt you'll get even a few feet without breaking your ankles, even with sight you can't manage to pick your feet from the ground?"

✧ — Fayina can't hunt really, but she makes her way over anyway in a boring track post, nodding to the apprentice signalling she was ready to go when Strato was.

And there he goes again with his olden language. She listens more carefully this time, picking out the words she knew versus those she didn’t. It comforted her that although she’s could sound like a robot at times, Fayina could speak normally. Though to some perhaps his knightly manners were charming. As she went on she would find they would grow on her , like a rash, but still nevertheless she was able to get used to it. Her gaze contonues to pierce through hin, slightly off target by a few inches. At this point most would notice by now fayina was blind, but there were no comments made so she could assume that he already deduced it.
“I’m too devoted to the Veil to bother with anyone else.” Though her reasons still remained a secret. “I guess i’ll find out when I help toynbee get back, Also I am thé kindly healer you seek. Though most don’t associate me with the word kind.”

Life was cruel to Bast, even Fayina could see. It was what hindered an individual, having so much family there was much more to lose. Therefore Fayina’s heart aches for the leader, noticing the pain in her voice. “Do you... need accompaniment, Last?” She offers hesitantly, if the feline was going to walk far then so was fayina, it wasn’t the least she could do after all the work she has done.

✧ — Ah, she had every right to be agitated, but that didn’t me and her words didn’t didnt sting. The woman recoiled at her tone, the only thing she’s could go off of. If she had any less respect for Bast perhaps she would have caused a more assertive response, instead the sha remained silent and said nothing, only allowing herself to follow where the feline went when it came time.

The woman held on her offer to accompany the leader on this journey, for personal and political reason. She padded over to stand beside, but slightly behind Last, bowing her head quite solemnly. She wouldn’t dare say a word, as she’s was ordered to. The woman was there for her presence and intellect, providing a calm aura to fight the demons around the leader.
If she had used her heavens eyes she could have seen Ambedo’s spirit, sadly her power didn’t yet work on those who didn’t want to be seen.
