She thought about it a moment. Surely it should've been obvious what she had been doing, but then again the girl's clothes were still quite far from the purpose of adventuring. Shrugging it off, she went to get her knife from the now dead beast that Kaden saved her from. "Well, honestly, I'm on an adventure. I like exploring, but I am quite the amateur. Lost my map yesterday so I'm lost," Becky said, ripping her knife from the animal's body and cleaning the blood off of it. The brown-haired girl then took a moment, acting like she was trying to remember something. Barely one second later she continued, "Oh, my parents were killed...by order of the king." Her voice was cold and sharp, almost enough to rip through someone's heart, and her eyes were like a locked up gate to the world of her soul. Even so, anyone could see that she almost wasn't fazed by what had come out of her mouth. They'd be right, too. It'd been two years, and she'd learned that it's useless to go on mourning when you can go on to do more for yourself. Looking back at Kaden, her attention back where it should be, she put her knife back in it's holster with a faint smile.

She could feel her eyes widen for a few seconds at Leo's sudden change of attitude, but then sharpen as she got alert. The short, seemingly shy and quiet girl had a wild smirk on her face. It was Elena's first time playing a game like this, but it surely didn't look like it. Like she was in her own little world within the game, she shot strategically and started to rack up points. Though she wasn't much for competition, it seemed as if she was trying to win. There wasn't a doubt in her mind that she wouldn't lose in this current moment, but she knew that the boy next to her might be able to pull ahead if he noticed her developing strategy.

She nodded silently in response to the text, not wanting to waste time to respond. Elena put on her favorite bathing suit under a tank top with a laced back and shorts. Walking out, she hurried to the park entrance, where she found the brown haired boy waiting for her. The girl ran towards him slightly, smiling. Without thinking she grabbed him in an embrace, glad he had really showed up. Staying there, she noticed Nick smelt really good, and she didn't want to let go.

If he was really honest, Aubre's hand on his chest felt a little good. He almost forgot the terrible deed he had done while he was still completely devoted to Clara. Nolan just kept rolling with it. "Yeah," the boy said, his voice reflecting that he had just woken up as he held one of her hands.

As he took everything in, his eyes widened in horror. They were related? He stared after Aubre when she left, utterly terrified. What had he just done? This was terrible. Nolan got up and got dressed, shoving his phone in his pocket and walking out the door. When he was walking out, he made sure to look as normal as possible. As soon as he got outside he made a break for it and ran for his house. It was as if he were fired out of a canon. Once inside, he immediately through himself onto the couch. The brunette found tears coming from his eyes, which soon became violent sobbing. And he couldn't stop.

As if he were expecting it, he jumped up and cleaned himself up. Nolan had to be quick about it, and he was. The boy left no evidence of his recent sobbing before going to answer the door. Upon seeing Clara, he smiled, and his heart smiled. What didn't smile was his conscience. He felt guilty, but he wasn't about to show it. She didn't need to know of the mistake he made while she hadn't been around.

"Y-yeah," Nolan said, moving so she could enter.
He began to wonder if she felt like something was off. If he was right, then he was completely screwed. Cursing himself silently, he continued to act as if nothing had happened at all besides him being home by himself.

He gladly held her hand as he looked at her. If she had any doubts, he had put on his best impression to show he had done nothing and looked into his girlfriend's eyes. There was probably only one thing Nolan forgot to fix. His hair. The lovely brown hair that sat upon his head was still quite messy. It slipped his mind though.

She continued to stare into his eyes for a few more seconds before almost ripping away from his gaze. Her face was painted a deep, rosy color as she looked away to start walking around the inside of the fenced yard. Elena waited in the back yard by the pool for Nick, stripping down to her bathing suit and walking to the pool to see if the water would be cold or a little warm.

He held her close, almost forgetting that he was still wearing the shirt from last night. Nolan just didn't want Clara to know and forgot some key details that would give it all away. Something in him remembered Aubre taking pictures while he was in his drunken state. It didn't surface completely though, so he shrugged it off as he tried to just keep Clara with him.

He was surprised at first, but let it happen. Nolan leaned down and deepened their kiss, letting his eyes close. The love he truly felt for Clara let him completely forget about anything he ever did wrong. One hand was around her waist, and the other supported her head as they kissed.

Nolan panted slightly when Clara pulled away, a little out of breath. The happiness he felt seemed to disappear as soon as it had filled him. When he saw Clara's face, he could only guess what had happened. He managed to take a peek at the message she got, and his face was one of fear. Tears filled his eyes. "Clara...I can explain," the boy said weakly, his heart nearly shattering to pieces.

Elena would've gasped in surprise, but that would mean swallowing water. Before she could react at all, she felt his lips against hers as they were under the water. She pulled herself closer to him as they kissed, almost hoping they'd never stop. The only thing that would stand between her and kissing Nick, was the need for oxygen.

There it was. His heart completely shattered. He reached a hand to hold his face as he stared after her. Nolan could only mouth her name as he fell to the floor. Tears streamed down his face. The brunette couldn't bring himself to be mad. Finding the strength to stand again, he slammed the door and fell back down. Something told him he wasn't going to leave the house for awhile.
