History:
Revenge was born on March 26 in Kentucky and he was raised there, getting better and better in his career. He was always a good horse, a bit hard to train, but a good horse. At age two, the colt raced in California. His best stakes result was a runner-up to Pioneerof the Nile in the 2008 Grade I CashCall Futurity at Hollywood Park. In 2009, he ran second to Pioneerof the Nile in the Grade II Robert B. Lewis Stakes at Santa Anita Park. To this point, all of I Want Revenge's races had been on synthetic dirt, but he was then sent to compete on the natural dirt tracks of the East Coast of the United States. At Aqueduct Racetrack in Queens, New York he won the Gotham Stakes by 8½ lengths in stakes record time.
Following the colt's win in the Gotham Stakes, owner/breeder David Lanzman sold a 50% interest in I Want Revenge to IEAH Stables. In his next outing, on the same Aqueduct track, I Want Revenge gave what the track announcer called a remarkable performance in winning the Grade I Wood Memorial Stakes. The colt overcame a miscue at the starting gate that left him four lengths back of the field and then after he caught up, got trapped between horses. Heading for home, he was severely bumped as he moved between horses but burst through and pulled away to win by 1½ lengths.
Regular jockey Joseph Talamo had said that if he won the Kentucky Derby aboard I Want Revenge, he would donate twenty-five percent of what he earned to the Children's Hospital in his native New Orleans that cares for all children, regardless of a family's ability to pay. However, I Want Revenge was scratched from the Kentucky Derby due to injury. His injury was the subject of a lawsuit by his part-owner IEAH Stables against David Lanzman, whom they accused of not informing them about the injury when they purchased a share in the horse.
After a lay-off of over a year, the colt returned to racing on July 3, 2010, and finished third in the Suburban Handicap at Belmont Park. Now he is at Snowhill, and he is still racing.

Riding Style: "I'm western y'all!"
Rider: "My sweet Zeba is the ONLY one I'll listen to!"
Personality: "Some people say I am a bite from the devil, others call me honeycomb. It spends on who handles me and what their doing. If I were to sum myself up, I'd be brave, bold, stubborn, controlling and only sweet to the people I choose to be sweet to. And no way, I'm not perfect!"
Likes: "Zeba, trees and that's about it."
Dislikes: "Whips, people, cows, other horses, animals, swamps, yucky water, humans while indoors...... This list could go on forever."
Favorite Treats: "Only sour apples. Kinda like me!"
^"Forgot to tell you, that's Amanda, Zeba's BFF."^
History: At birth, I was separated from my sweet momma. It scarred me. I was stolen by a thief who took my halfway 'cross the country. From where my momma lies off in Madison, Wisconsin, to Florida. I was being raised with a filthy family, in a town known as St. Petersburg. I lived with these rotten children for five years until Sir McMackary, the father, banned me and put my death in front of me. I was known as the sour apple, and I was going to slaughter. When I reached the slaughterhouse, there was bloodsurrounding the time I had left. Minutes before my death, Mr. Cents came. He was a tall and scrawny man. He was a police officer. When he found me, I was covered in blood. But no... It wasn't mine, it was the horse that was slaughtered before me's blood. Mr. Cents took me to his home, cleaned me up, and gave me to his daughter, Zeba. On my sixth birthday, I felt grateful for the eleven months I had spent with Zeba, and I was excited for a billion-trillion-million-zillion more! The reason deep down that I'm so cold is because of my story."
