Opal didn't lift her head from her knees, she didn't want Helbrahm to see her cry. It wasn't the fact that she was dragon rider that made all of this so hard to believe. She listened to him speak and she slowly lifted her head. Her golden eyes were shining with tears as she glanced at the egg, reaching over and placing her hand on it. This little egg actually contained her dragon? She couldn't believe it, but she knew it was true. She was scared though, scared of failing the little creature and Helbrahm."They'll just throw me out after awhile, just like everyone does. I don't want to be a burden to them."She was still unaware that Helbrahm could hear her thoughts. Opal stared up at Helbrahm, wiping her eyes on her sleeves. She then snapped her gaze at the egg, staring at it. She walked slowly over to it, tears still falling down her cheek as one hit the egg."Do you actually care this much about me or is it the fact that I'm a rider?"She asked Helbrahm.

Opal was able to feel their uncertainty. She was pretty good at picking up things like that and it made her confidence go down a bit. She was getting too excited about all of this. She pushed the cart, just following them as they walked."It's fun having other people to shop with!"She said with a grin. People who knew she lived alone were always worried. She had been on her own for two years and she had a trust fund thanks to her dead grandparents so she didn't really understand the big deal."I-I...I wasn't talking about you guys moving in earlier, I was just excited about celebrating your birthday. I know it's weird moving in with someone you barely know. I know that I'm putting way too much effort into trying to impress you guys..."She said with a small smile as she pushed the cart. Her one eye looking at them as she was unaware of a old women coming towards the until her cart hit Opal's. It was on her left side, her blind side. She quickly turned her head, mumbling an apology as she kept moving. She blushed, that was embarrassing."No, you guys are my guests! I should the one worrying!"She says with a smile.

Lilith could stay under water for long periods of times thanks to her abilities. She could suck Oxygen from the water to breath. -

She didn't think she could make friends, but Kurt was kind to her and he seemed to like her. He was also hurt, people had hurt him. Lilith knew that not all human were bad, but it was the bad ones who had control over their future. They would lock up all the mutants if they could. -

Or were those different humans? They hurt you, Kurt! They hurt mutants!"She snapped, her anger started to get the best of her. She was unaware that she was starting to absorb the oxygen, making very difficult to even breath so it was like the life was getting sucked out of Kurt.
