Night widened her eyes. "Mom... what's that weird smell?" she asked Sparrow. Sparrow sniffed the air. "Death....." she murmured. "I've smelled that before. It's the scent of a dead dog," she said. Jet's eyes widened. "Dead dog?" he meowed. "I wanna see!" And for what seemed the millionth time that morning, he jumped out of his dumpster. "Jet!" Night meowed, following her brother. "Jet, come back! What if it looks all....." she scrunched up her face, remembering the last time she saw something dead. Jet ignored her and kept following the dead dog scent. He stopped short when he saw Trooper standing over the dead dog. After a moment of silence, his eyes brightened. "Cool!" he exclaimed, coming over to have a closer look. "Did you kill it all by yourself?" he asked.

Angeldove woke up and stretched. After quickly grooming herself, she padded outside. "Looks like today's going to be quiet and peaceful again," she murmured, padding over to the freshkill pile. After choosing a squirrel, she walked over to a pine tree, sat down, and began eating.

OOC TY ;) I was thinking... badgers' feet are small, right? So maybe we should have Angelkit follow the trail of paws, which lead to a badger's den. Since Angelkit doesn't know much about dens, she could wander inside and get killed by the badger

When the first snowflake landed on Angelkit's nose, she looked up at the sky, only to get pelted by wind and snow. Her eyes widened. Looking around, she saw a set of small paw prints in the snow. Curious, she began following the foot prints.
