Domestic cat; Medic Apprentice of Thunderclan

"Wh-what kind of announcement?" The Medic Apprentice asked as she padded over, curiosity glinting in her green eyes. Was Vide pregnant, too? That was the first thing that came to mind for Kris, mostly because Sasha had just made a similar announcement. If that was the case, that was a good and happy thing, it just meant she'd have another reason to expedite her studying. Golly, it seemed like everything was happening at once now.

The femme couldn't help but feel a sense of warm joy spread through her petite frame. The late night to see her father again was definitely worth it for her, and if anyone asked why she was tired tomorrow, she'd just say she'd been up waiting for Santa. Perhaps she was a bit old for it, but this was still her first Christmas, so she was sure she'd be able to make it work. In a way, it was sort of true, most of what she'd wanted for Christmas was to spend some time with family.
"That's wonderful papa, and I'm sure the gift is wonderful too, danke." She purred, before sliding over the small round bundle she'd brought with her. "I got you and mama something, too." She added, smile growing just a bit wider. Inside was a Christmas ornament that she'd painted a picture of herself and her parents on, as well as some generic Christmas patterns. She wasn't as talented as her mother at painting, not even close, but she'd decided that if they couldn't see each other all the time anymore, she ought to make something to make it seem a little more that way.
After sliding her gift over, she began to carefully unwrap her own present, revealing the glass within. She gently maneuvered the object, looking through the transparent surface from multiple angles, though being very careful so as not to accidentally break it. Not that such behavior was odd for her, she was very careful in nature anyways, so handling fragile thing came a bit naturally. The tuxedo hadn't been around glass much, so needless to say she was very intrigued by the clear object she now possessed. She had to admit though, she was a bit puzzled as to what the point was. "It's so pretty... but what does it do?" She asked, head still tilting back and forth as she looked through the shard. If it were light out, she would probably be trying to make a rainbow appear, but it was dark, so she was simply observing the world with a lens, wondering what such an object might mean.

Oooh I can give you some Kris facts if you want to do a headshot for her? References are her avie and siggie, she's got the black w/ med. white thing going on with the weird triangle patch on her muzzle. Here's another reference just for fun.

& facts:
- She's actually loosely based off of my favorite barn cat from the barn I currently board my horse at. We thought he was a girl when he was a kitten since he was tiny and came in wearing a pink collar, but now he's huge. He was also terrified of almost everything, and is still worried around strangers, which is where I got the concept for her from. A fragile little thing that wishes more than anything to be brave and helpful. I had the idea in my head for a month or two before I found the right litter to put her in, and it took me a while to find a good name for her, too.
- I never planned for her to get into medicine, originally I was planning on her climbing up ranks the warrior way to try and be exactly like her dad, but with how many people she's seen get hurt, I decided to let her try being brave a different way and I have a lot more muse so I guess it's working
- The way she's developing her full name: Kristallnacht, is going to end up having a bit of a double meaning for her. It's both a reminder of past tragedy, but since it technically translates to Krystal night, can also be taken to mean that she shines even in dark times.
Thanks feli c:

Kristallpaw wasn't Ben, but she was curious, and so the tuxedo quietly made her way over, offering a respectful nod in greeting to the leader and deputy. She honestly didn't feel like it was her place to say anything just yet, seeing as there was a question in the air. Besides, she was sure Sasha and Adrian could handle whatever this was until Ben arrived, but she liked being informed, so she figured she might as well hang around and see what was going on.

"I'm here!" Kris called as she sprinted over, a bundle of herbs already in jaws. She'd heard Sasha's scream and had rushed over as quickly as her paws would carry her. She slid to a stop once she reached the pregnant fae, nonexistent brows furrowing as she took in the situation. "They shouldn't be c-coming yet, should they? It's too early..." She mused, running the possible causes through her head. She had a feeling Sasha knew better than to do anything to cause problems, so why was she experiencing contractions? "Whatever this is, I'm thinking deep breathes, maybe laying down, and trying to relax your muscles might, um, help. We also probably want to avoid using a lot of medication if we, um, can, since that could cause problems for the kits, right?" She added, thinking up some sort of an answer as quickly as she could. She'd been studying pregnancy and kitting more than any other subject to try and be as ready as possible to help Sasha, but she hadn't expected something like this. Besides, she was still in training, and so she wanted to make sure she was doing things right.

Golly, Sasha sure knew how to make an introduction. This Alan guy was pretty good at making his presence known, too, she'd heard him from a ways away. Thus, the tuxedo was present, green eyes curiously looking over the strange canine. "Hallo, I'm Kristallpaw, or, uh, Kris for short. Welcome to Thunderclan." She greeted a tad awkwardly, deciding not to chime in on Sasha and Crow's discussion. She wasn't exactly much of a party type herself, but she was sure if Lan looked hard enough he'd be able to find someone who was around here.

"Oh no, I, um, I don't have any baby daddies. I'd probably be skinned alive if I did." The Medic Apprentice replied, half-joking, but also half-serious. She had a feeling her father wouldn't be terribly happy if she showed up pregnant by some stranger out of the blue, especially if it was because she'd been drunk. Her mother probably wouldn't be thrilled either. Maybe they wouldn't skin her alive, but they definitely would not be happy, given that she was still apprentice age and all. "...So, in other words, just because you live here, Crow here, uh, doesn't have to be your baby daddy. It's totally safe to join." She added with a grin. The level of awkward uncomfortableness in this conversation was probably off the charts for this guy, but she was sure he'd be fine... eventually.

Poetic or not, Kris certainly wasn't an expert. She'd always been too busy studying other subjects to have time to become very well versed in the subject. For most of her life, it'd been fighting, but lately she'd had to start studying medicine like crazy. So much so that she hardly had time for much else because there was so much she had to learn, and what felt like so little time. So to her, her father's answer was plenty poetic.
Not only that, it was exactly what she'd needed to hear. She wasn't sure what to say, and so she listened. It was still hard for her to believe that things really had changed so much. She didn't get to see her family every day anymore. The amount of pressure she felt now was, well, it was a lot. She had a lot to learn, and not a lot of time to learn it. Not to mention her ability to learn would determine whether people lived or died, which was a lot to handle for someone who at one point had actually been afraid of her own shadow. Yet her father had faith in her, and that was enough to give her all the boost she needed. "Papa... That was beautiful..." She finally managed. "I'll... We'll be alright. We might not live in the same place anymore, but we're still family. I could try to come visit you and mama some times, if I act like I'm researching something medical no one would ever know any better." She offered with a flick of a white-tipped ear. Of course, she'd have to be really careful about such a thing, but no one would ever suspect her of anything. She was a bit worried by the fact that she was thinking of it that way, how she could get away with it, but she had a feeling she could, and then she wouldn't have to be away from her family forever, just for a little while.

"Don't w-worry too much on that front Pastel, another queen has, um, offered to feed them while Sasha recovers..." Kristallpaw explained gently as she padded over. She herself was absolutely exhausted, as even though the strange medic had intervened and taken care of all the really hard work, she had still been up for Starclan knew how long. She'd been checking in on Sasha and the kits, probably because she was also amazed and relieved that they were all alive, and even healthy at that. It almost seemed too good to be true.
"Sasha, if you'd like I could get you something for the pain, and um, I think it'd be good for you and the kits if you spent some time with them." She added, trying her best to sneak the idea in as gently as she could. She didn't know why Sasha seemed convinced that her children were dead, but she hoped maybe if she could convince the fae to spend some time with them that she'd realize they were in fact alive.

At Sasha's request, Kristallpaw had offered a quiet nod before scurrying off to grab something to make her feel a bit better, at least physically. It was the least she could do, really, considering it was her job to make sure everyone was okay. However, the apprentice was shocked to come back to Sasha punching a wall, and quickly hurried her alabaster paws towards the group. "Sasha, I know you're h-hurting, but Crow's right, punching walls won't help. You, uh, really should be taking it easy, too much movement could, um, damage your stitches." She mewed worriedly, green eyes wide. She wanted to tell Crow that Sasha was alright, which she was, physically, but it seemed mentally something was very wrong. How could Sasha not see that her kits were alive? They were noisy enough to wake up a hibernating bear, and quite active considering their entrance to the world earlier today. "And, um, I got you some poppy seeds..." The femme added awkwardly, holding out a paw containing the small seeds. She was sure they had stronger stuff somewhere in the medical wing, but she decided starting off lighter might be better, given her own inexperience.

"I'm game... I'm Kristallpaw, or Kris, um, whichever you prefer, really. You're Luna, right?" The petite femme greeted with a small smile as she padded forward on alabaster paws before taking a seat near the kitten. The girl seemed pretty happy, and Kris couldn't help but wonder how on earth it seemed everyone was more composed during their meet and greets than she had been. She'd nearly jumped out of her skin the first time someone outside of her family said hi to her, and had only been able to stutter out a few measly words to most who approached whilst silently praying her siblings would catch-up to bail her out of the scary situation of strangers. She ad since gotten much better at conversation, but it still amazed her how bold most kits seemed to be straight out of the nursery compared to herself.

Kristallpaw

The sound of a meet and greet was enough to draw the tuxedo over, alabaster paws sweeping over the light layer of snow underfoot as she approached one of the Clan's newer members. "Hallo, I, um, don't think we've met... I'm Kristallpaw, or Kris, whichever you prefer. I'm the Medic Apprentice here." She greeted with a small smile and blended German-Italian accent, stopping near the older male. He seemed nice, and it was great to see new blood coming to the Clan, both young and old. "You seem to be pretty good at, um... scarf-making." She added, unsure if this was knitting or some other form of scarf-making. She wasn't very well versed in the arts, but the scarf he was working on did look nice, so she figured a compliment, even a stupid one like hers, was worth giving.

So I have Kris here, and she needs to get out more, so she's getting a plotting thread. Anyway, she's currently the Medic Apprentice in Thunderclan. She tends to be rather shy when meeting new people, and just timid in general, however, she tries her very hardest not to be. She tries to be brave and strong and all that jazz, even though she's one of the biggest worry warts on the planet. That's the gist of Kristallpaw, but if you want more info. feel free to ask. Now for the actual plotting part.

Kris is open to:
- Friends: May take some time, especially if your character is from an enemy Clan or literally any Tribe. She's got massive distrust for tribe members because when she was a newborn two of her siblings were killed by them, so yeah.
- Frienemies/Rivals: May be hard simply because this kid really only stands up for herself when she's pushed to her limit, but it is doable.
- Enemies: Pretty self-explanatory, hurt her or her family/friends in any way and she probably won't like your character, being a jerk or rude person is also effective.
- Being taught medical stuff: Thunderclan doesn't have an official medic right now, and so Kris is being taught by the more knowledgeable members, but she'd definitely appreciate any help she can get with studying. This could also lead into other plots if you'd like.
- General interaction/etcetera
- Basically anything that isn't on the closed list tbh, I'm not too picky, so feel free to offer up your own ideas.

Picky on:
- Romance in General: I would actually love a romance plot in this girlie's life, but I'll be kind of picky about it. Not super picky, but if anyone's interested I would want them to have some sort of interaction first to make sure they get along and don't hate each other or anything. This could be long or short term, and even healthy or abusive (towards her, she's not exactly the bully type). I really just want her to have some form of romance in her life. Whatever it would be it would probably take some time to develop though, since it tends to take Kris a little bit of time to really trust people.

Closed to:
- Death: She might get multiple possession/shapeshifting eventually, but she doesn't have it yet, so dying would be a problem.
- Being maimed: I'd like her to keep her limbs and organs, so no luck here.

Plot away! c:
