I'd enjoy RPing a Harry Potter plot as I haven't had very many active threads as of now. However I have a small issue; I don't think I can RP as any canon HP character accurately, but I can try. That said, I'm not sure how active I'll be. I try to give warnings before leaving for long periods of time but sometimes my muse just disappears.

Besides those things, do you have a plot in mind? Anything works for me.

    (Ah, it's fine, I understand)

Madison M.G Jackson wasn't social. She didn't like talking to people outside her family, but could act like she wanted to. However, what really annoyed her was the 'soulmate' thing. So, she decided that's what she'd study.

The study itself was interesting, it was the jobs that came with it that were boring. Currently, she was studying the public. M.G leaned back before speaking softly, "Nothing new, K.G. Couples; fake, real, I don't know. Friends; all around."

"M.G, I know what the code means." said the voice on the other side.

"You know me too well. Alright, I admit, I'm bored. However nothing is different from yesterday. This paper is impossible. Anyway, I'm meeting my SM today. I have the notes, and maybe I'll find something to write about later. I'll keep an eye out, okay?"

"Fine, fine. Go, I'll be here, send me the notes soon." K.G responded before turning the device off. Maddie sighed, standing up and closing her notebook. She capped her pen, before trudging along with the crowd. What she really wanted to do was to avoid meeting her soulmate, and stay alone, but she guessed that wouldn't happen.

Alexander Hamilton was new, he guessed. However it felt like he'd been in the area once before. Whatever, he hadn't ever been here before and he knew that. Alex had always lived in Nevis, and now he was in America. The land of the free.

As of now, he was trailing behind Aaron Burr (Sir!). Burr hadn't seemed fond of his rhyming, but he liked it so it stuck. Hamilton was a little confused about going into a bar - especially this early - but Burr said to stick with him and it'd be fine.

So, here he was, Burr giving him 'advice'. "You're smart, Alexander, don't waste it. Watch what you say in public, and don't get into fights."

Alexander had to fight the urge to add 'Sir'; okay, maybe he shouldn't use that 'nickname' so much. Burr obviously didn't like them, so he kinda wanted to talk to them.

He didn't have much of a choice when the attention shifted to him. The last name Laurens sounded familiar, but he couldn't tell. Lafayette - French, from what he knew. Hercules wasn't a common name, so he didn't know about that one.

"Oh, I'm Alexander. Alexander Hamilton. Nice to meet you." He smiled slightly, glancing at Burr. He seemed ready to walk away. Not that Alex was going to let him. He needed at least one person he was familiar with around.

Alex shook Laurens' hand, and so on, nodding when Aaron spoke. He didn't take a glass though. He had drunk alcohol on Nevis once, but that led to less than pleasant circumstances and he wasn't going to make that mistake again.

His eyes lightened up when John said they went to Kings'. Maybe living in a foreign country wouldn't be so bad after all. "I'm goin' to Kings as well." Hamilton replied, smiling a bit wider. After everything that had preceded this, he finally wasn't faking his emotions.

Hamilton wasn't shy - that was obvious - and, as of now, was really cheerful that he had friends. That way, he wouldn't have to deal with talking to any people he didn't have to when he got to the school. Which was a plus. However, he guessed that wouldn't last long. "Totally."

Alex huffed at Aaron's words, but complied. Not even people on Nevis were this strict. At Burr's question, he nodded, "Yeah. It's the only thing I can afford at the moment." Unless he wanted to stay on the street, but he wasn't about to say that out loud - though he had done it before.

Alex just nodded. He had to hide a grimace at 'meeting other people', he would probably make more enemies than friends if he spoke to more people. Not that it effected him that much, he always figured he was better on his own.

However when they mentioned singing, Hamilton got curious. On Nevis, singing wasn't very common - they had to worry about hurricanes rather than the arts. Though as they started, he figured it wasn't the type of singing he had been taught. It was more energetic and faster, but that didn't make it any worse.

Plot: In this world, soulmates are a common thing. You get scraps, cuts, and bruises the same places your soulmates do, though that's only one thing that happens for clues. Everyone also has clocks that count down to the exact moment you meet your other half. Fun, right? Not so much.

Rules: This can be a BxG or BxB or GxG I have two different characters, so you can pick. This will have touchy subjects for some(Abuse, blood, gore, cussing for example). Another thing I didn't say in the plot, I will be a convict and you should be royalty. Everything about your family, other than status, and attitude towards commoners and such is up to you. If you have read this, put the French word for England somewhere in your form. Oh, and put more than two sentences per post. (All things are based off of the song 'The Good Life' by Three Days Grace, to understand you should go listen to it.)

Jay cussed as the guard disarmed him, his dagger flying to some corner of the house. He knew that was it; the end for him and life as he knew it. And he never met his soulmate. He highly doubted they'd miss him anyway.

So, the guards restrained him and started back up to the castle. On the way, he made his reputation with the guards worse by making sarcastic comments about how they held themselves, outfits, and so on. More than ten times he was told to 'shut up' to which Jay responded that it 'wasn't in his vocabulary.'

After about three hours - was he really that far away? - they finally reached the castle. Jay had to have a trial before anything could happen, and now they had to wait for the current person in there complaining about whatever to finish.

Jay wasn't happy being in this situation. He felt helpless, like when he was a little kid and his mom had to help him tie his shoes. Or when he couldn't defend himself against the big kids when he was six, and his sister had to for him. There were countless moments when he felt helpless, and this had to be the worst.

When he heard a girl's voice, he looked up, and felt his breathing stop. Jay knew who this was - though not by name. People always said you would feel calm yet excited when you saw your soulmate for the first time, but this wasn't anything like that. He felt scared - what would she think of him? - even more helpless - why now? - and joyful at the same time.

Jay reacted the same way he did when the guards first showed up, and smiled while letting his eyes show his emotions - which he hadn't done with the guards, but this was his soulmate! He couldn't have emotionless eyes like the last time.

    (Alright, thanks for clarifying!)

Jay Collins was currently trying to bargain with a merchant. The man wouldn't listen to reason, and Jay was trying to convince him to lower his way too high prices. No one here could pay for anything he had, the guy should move up one district where people had actual money.

Yet, five minutes later, Jay was still arguing with him. He glanced up as he heard the royal carriage going down a street. "Huh," He muttered, "that's weird. They never come down here." Jay couldn't resist the temptation. Just what was the royal family doing? Only one way to find out.

With that, he left the merchant there without a reply, sneakily making his way along the street. He needed to avoid all guards and government officials. He had committed multiple crimes after all. Peaking around a corner, Jay realized that would be harder than he thought.

Jay pulled on his hood, letting his eyes follow the carriage as he walked casually on the road. He tilted his head as it stopped, in front of a dress shop. He was familiar with the owner, and that was a safe place for him to hide if it came down to it.

"What are they doing?" He whispered, turning his head to another shop as a guard turned around towards him. Jay didn't have a weapon on him, so picking a fight wouldn't be wise. He turned to an alleyway, one he knew would get him to the back of the dress shop so he could change into a worker outfit.

When he got there, Jay immediately saw the queen. Then he saw the owner - a middle-aged woman who was strict to the employees, and in turn Jay. "Jay," She called, "I need you to get the fitting supplies." He nodded to her, before going over to the counter to grab the box.

Jay was slightly confused as to why the guards backed up, but wasn't about to complain. "Hey," He replied. "I'm Jay." Though to be honest, not many called him that. Most knew him as Smooth Flyer or an alias.

Better to tell her the truth, though. "Nice to meet you." He continued, and he would have used have used gestures but his hands were a bit tied up at the moment. Which he still didn't like.

He had to admit that, despite the circumstances, he had ended up with a beautiful soulmate. Jay on the other had was a mess. His hair was knotted, his skin pretty dark from the grime that was building up, and his clothing was pretty torn up.
