Cheerwine smiled as they embraced, wings ruffling up in excitement. "You're a hard guy to find Mack! I've been looking for you for ages, and when I heard there was someone here with that name here—ahhh, I had to check, y'know? I mean, it's not a super weird name but I had to see—" she stopped herself, looking to Sweetophelia with a bright smile. "It's nice to meet you too! Uh, so is joining an option? 'Cause, I mean, if Mack's here, might as well settle in too, right?"

Alright, if she was going to live here, she'd need to familiarize herself with the area, figure out what was what and all that nonsense. Cheerwine opened her wings, jumping lightly off the side of the island. When she'd flown over, she'd been amazed by the main island, floating in mid air, roots and vines hanging slightly down the side. Maybe she could dig out a house there—that'd be pretty awesome, right? Singing off–key nonsense under her breath, she noticed a dip in the island's side, just beneath a cliff. Flying down, she brushed the vines aside. Behind was a cave, dark as the night and deeper than she could see. It was a small, unnoticeable place from the outside, difficult to reach if you couldn't fly. Grinning, she poked her head out. "Heyyyy! Did any of you guys know about this awesome cave? It's full of centipedes and stuff!"

"Aeon! Aaaah, you're here too!?" she chirped excitedly, feathers ruffling up as she bounced from foot to foot, barely containing her excitement. Looking to Mack, she giggled, snorting slightly as she offered a lopsided smile. "Aw, come on Macaroni! Their just like scaly caterpillars!" Hearing a voice from above, she pocked her head out, ears raised curiously as she looked up to see a small white puppy. "What, can't you fly?" she asked, sounding honestly surprised. The little pup looked like a macawine—except white, and less feathers, and no wings. Wait, wait, she'd heard of these—they were canines, right? That made them cousins! Through, I dunno, evolution or something. Leaping out of the cave, she soared back up to the island's level. "Sure thing, cousin!" Diving forward, she aimed to lightly grab Aurora in her talons. "D'you have a name?"

"Aw, flip yeah!" chirped Cheerwine, grinning like a little kid. "Can I have some? I haven't had sugar since I got stuck in that licorice factory last year. Now that was fun!" she said, laughing slightly. She kind of missed the adventures she'd gone on while looking for her family. As happy as she was to all be back together in one place, she almost wished she had a reason to wander again. Maybe there was a way to do that while still living here?

"Oh, sick!" Cheerwine said brightly, apparently unaware of the tension and her brother's discomfort. "What's in there? You got any pop? I haven't had any in months," she said, splitting into a grin. It was only then that her enthusing began to fade, noticing the Mack's restrained hostility. Casually, she strode over to stand by him. She didn't say anything—she didn't know if this was private or embarrassing—but she leaned against him, pressing her pelt against his in the hopes it would calm him. Still, she found her curiosity bubbling and fizzing. She didn't know allies could travel to visit each other—she'd thought they had to stay at their own places. Could she do that, maybe? She was kind of stir crazy as of late.

What a total bummer! When she'd been further north, she'd found a whole box of this fantastic swiss hot cocoa and creamer, a nice dark chocolate flavor. She even had whipped cream and chocolate and carmel syrup to drizzle on top. It'd been too heavy for her travels, so after a few days of fun she'd left it, and now it was way to far. After a little bit of searching, Cheer did manage to find some older packets; nothing fancy, nothing foreign, and nothing homemade. What a dip. Then again, anything chocolate tended to make her vomit, being a canine and all, so maybe it was a blessing in disguise. What was the point of eating poison if it wasn't delicious? Finding a fairly flat rock, she cleared away the snow. Taking a pitcher and a stack of cups in her talons, she flew them over, setting them on the stone lightly. "Hot chocolate!" she called, giving the sweet brown choco–nectar a longing look. "Come help yourselves!"

She'd always been a sports kid. First gymnastics, then hockey—she actually went through a curling phase. That had been weird. But the Jersey girl had always felt a pull towards fencing. It was like old timey stab duels, except totally legal and way more exciting. It had taken some serious training, but with her hyper movements, she was a blur of momentum, constantly on the move. It was her third year participating—and this year, Charlie planned to get her hands on a medal, preferably in gold. "Sup 'pop rocks,' you're looking sullen," chirped Charlie as she popped up begin Aleksi, cracking open a glass bottle of soda, grinning as it hissed. "Where you from my dudes?"

In all honesty, Cheer zoned out for 98% of the meeting. Focusing was really hard, so to be honest, she only remembered the first bit. But a murder mystery event—talk about absolutely awesome! Not to mention the title of "adventurer." It would be pretty sweet to wind that, you know, considering all the years she spent as one. Grinning, she chirped, "Congrats to the pro–mies and the rest of you—bummer!" she called out, still not entirely sure who exactly had been promoted.

Slipping up quietly from behind. Cheer paused, biting her lip. She'd been away from her brother for so long. What if she didn't know how to offer comfort anymore? What if she made everything worse? But she couldn't just do nothing, right? Without bothering to alarm him to her presence, she grabbed him in a tight hug from being. "Hey, look on the bright side, Mackaroni," she said as she poked her head over his shoulder, offering a sympathetic smile. "At least you only have to look at half of my ugly mug now, eh? Plus, I hear the ladies love that grizzled soldier look."

A soft howl echoed back as Cheer flew over, offering the kid a gently response in the way she new best. When she'd first been separated from Mack and the others, she'd howled every night. A way to mourn, and a half hearted hope they'd hear her. That they'd find her. Of course, they hadn't. The puckering and stretching of the scars on her stomach with every step were a painful reminder of that. "Nothing wrong with a little howl now and then, kid," she said, offering a forced smile.

She'd looked around long and hard, asked all the right questions, and considered her options. Finally, Cheerwine had made up her mind. She wasn't leaving Blizzard Clan; her family was here, and she was sure as hell not going to lose them again. But she couldn't help the wanderlust. Adding more supplies to the bag she was packing, she grinned. This was the best idea she'd had yet! Slinging it over her shoulders, she grinned. "Yo, dudes! Uh, hey, I don't know how much of you care, but I'm going on a trip—I wanna try and visit all the clans and groups, ya know, every single one! I'm still gonna live here—I'll be coming and going between trips, but, uh, just heads up, yeah?" Cheer yelled.

//i'll basically still roleplay here with about the same activity as usual; almost like with dual joining, but with her other membership kind of sort of as a loner?

"Yo, forget the maple leaf cash–money my dude," Charlie said, wrapping an arm around Charlot with a grin. "I literally got more than I know what to do with, and the more the merrier, ya know? What're you in the mood for short stuff? Protein shake? Salad? Or you lookin' for the good stuff?" she asked with a grin, taking a hard swig out of her soda bottle, grinning with her usual odd good naturedness.
