She was really quite tired of being alone, to be completely honest. She wasn't much for long stretches of solitude, so she'd finally packed up and gone looking for somewhere to live, somewhere with people, somewhere she could settle down and have good friends. That was the plan, at least. Toriel paused at where she believed the border to be, glancing around thoughtfully. She was fairly certain when going about these things you were supposed to wait for someone to show up so you could join, but them, she'd never done this before. "Hello?" she called with a gentle smile, glancing around. "Is anyone here?" Oh, she hadn't ended up in the wrong place, had she?

Smiling lightly, she tipped her head to the side, nodding. "My name's Toriel. I'm looking to join, if you wouldn't mind?" she said to Jude cheerfully. What a cute little child! She glanced curiously to Solardust as she padded over, blinking for a moment, confusion lingering in the back of her eyes. It was strange. She almost felt like she'd seen them before. "And what's your name, my child?"

"Well, it's a pleasure to meet you all," she said brightly, smiling. It was… admittedly just a bit overwhelming, but in a nice way. She certainly wouldn't have to worry about being lonely anymore, would she now? "A tour would be wonderful, but I don't suppose we could keep it short? Once I've got an idea of my way around, I think I'd prefer to just relax and read," she said, smiling. The fourth to approach-Zhivko, he introduced himself as-made her feel strangely on edge, as if this was one she should be avoiding. Ha, all sorts of strange deja vu today, with him and the child who'd introduced themselves as Solardust. It was probably just her imagination, though.

It was strange, the feeling of someone you just met being someone you knew well, someone who you cared about deeply. At first, Toriel had assumed it was her own excitement getting the better of her, ready to join and be around people again. But it had hung around, the feeling that she knew the child who had introduced themselves as Solardust. That was fairly impossible of course, and she was rather certain they'd never met, but all the same, the feeling persisted. Sighing, she shut her book, folding her reading glasses before setting them on the cover. She stepped outside, glancing around hesitantly. She wasn't sure what she was doing, but she sincerely wanted to speak with the child. But then, maybe this Solardust was a bit mature to be called child. Still, she couldn't help but think of them that way.

A fellow lonely soul looking for others to be around. Chances were though, that was likely where the similarities ended, considering Meira was a lioness and Toriel was a goat. Approaching curiously, she offered a light smile. "Oh, hello there. Might I ask you about your name and business?"

Training? Toriel approached with a hesitant frown, brow furrowed absently. She was fairly certain they meant combat training, but was that really necessary? Yes, she knew how to fight, and she was willing to if the situation called for it, but couldn't they simply do something else? Perhaps read or some such? What if this left a bad influence on the children? Letting out a frustrated breath, she glanced around for a partner. She really should participate, if only to make sure no one got hurt by mistake.

Toriel is a female goat living in Bone Clan. She's extremely gentle and loving, intelligent, and very overprotective to her friends and family. She absolutely loves puns, and has this strange love for eating snails. Despite her sweet pacifist nature, she's extremely fierce if anyone attempts to hurt those she cares about, and is very strong. She also believes that she knows what's best, which can lead to bossy moments.

She's open for just about anything; friendships, enemies, interaction threads, etcetera. She is not open to kidnapping, torture, or death, or doing any of those things to others. She WILL however adopt ANYONE and EVERYONE who needs adopting and fiercely mom them with pies and education.

"Oh, hello child," Toriel said, smiling lightly. The strange feeling of knowing and not knowing still hung over her, but she did her best to ignore it, instead approaching lightly. "You said your name is Solardust, did you not? It's quite a pretty name," she complimented, sitting down nearby. "How long have you lived here, then?"

Toriel blinked in surprise for a moment, then lit up, beaming, tilting her head back slightly to try and admire the flower crown. "They're absolutely beautiful," she said brightly. "Thank you." There was a pause, and then she split into cheerful laughter, not because anything funny happened, but simply because the small action had made her feel strangely happy.

She couldn't place what is was about the boy. But there certainly was something about him. Something that made her uneasy, afraid, worried. And sad. That feeling was the most confusing of all. You could worry about a stranger, even be afraid of them, but someone you just met shouldn't make you sad. It was hard to understand, and somehow, she wasn't sure she wanted to. Toriel began to wonder if going for a stroll through the ruins with no one but her thoughts for company had been such a good idea. She'd felt so happy before, and now, with the confusion and uneasiness and fear and sadness and sadness and sadness… Taking a deep breath, she slowed to a stop. Maybe she should go talk to him, show herself he was just an ordinary child, no reason to be feeling anything so drastically. Yes, that was the best plan. "Hello?" she called, wondering if her was near enough to here her. "Zhivko?"

Something about his smile felt strange, as if he was almost too happy. It wasn't obvious or glaring, and she couldn't really say why it felt so fake, but the feeling was there. "Ah, hello," she said, smiling lightly. "Yes, that's my name. I don't need anything," she said, trailing off. How to say this? "I just was wondering if you'd maybe like to sit down and just… talk?" It was a bit of a strange request, Toriel knew this, but the same force that repulsed him from this strange boy made her want to protect him, take care of him, fix everything. Of course, she had no idea if there was anything that needed fixing in the first place, but the feeling persisted. Maybe if the talked, just sat down and talked, she'd understand. Maybe it would help her make sense of the strange mix of feelings that seemed impossible to coexist and did anyway, help her understand why she felt like they'd met before.

"You must be quite good to make them! Once when I was a little girl I tried to make flower chains, but I'd always end up ripping right through the flowers on accident. I was so upset I started crying!" Toriel said lightly, laughing at the memory. Pausing, she smiled, looking to Solardust brightly. "Earlier today I was thinking about perhaps baking a pie-what do you think? Do you prefer butterscotch or cinnamon?" Strangely.. she felt like she knew the answer.
