Casey looked at the chair, then the cot, deciding she would prefer the cot. She looked at Neil, frowning "Where did they go..?" She questioned innocently. She was too young to realize what this meant. She looked at him
, blinking. He must have been lonely all this time, just like her.

Alexei was limp in her arms, his head oozing blood. His mare was whinnying, freaking out. She was terrified from what happened. There was blood on the ground from Alexei's wound. He was unconscious and not responding. It didn't look good at all. He seemed as good as dead. He was pale, and any hit to the head is never something good.

Kate jumped again, relaxing only when he heard that his voice wasn't angry, he seemed nice, welcoming. She blinked slightly before hesitantly stepping in "I don't want to intrude.." She said carefully, nod wanting to make enemies with these people. She perked up a little at the sight of the wolf "Oh..! Wow! Some pet..!" She seemed to open up a lot more at the sight of this animal. She always had admired them from afar, but never this close. She moved closer, but stopped. She looked embarrassed. Kate looked away, apologetically mumbling a sorry. She didn't want to just barge in and steal the wolf away from the boy who already seemed to be petting it.

Jackson tried catching a few things that fell from Shiina, only to catch a bra. He quickly flung it halfway across the room in his haste to get it out of his hands. He blushed again, quickly looking away and rubbing his hands on his pants leg as if it was dirty. He turned around, opening his mouth then shutting it. He did promise they could go then. So he might as well keep his promise. He went to the dresser in the room, picking up a couple bucks. After stuffing the money into his pocket, Jackson turned back to Shiina. He couldn't believe what he was met with. Shiina, struggling to get the locked door open. He blinked for a moment, trying his best not to whack her away. She was innocent, like a child. She had to be treated like such. He gently moved her hands away "Look.." He took out his room key and inserted it into the lock. He unlocked the door then turned the knob. It opened. He looked at her, shaking his head "See..? It was just locked..we aren't stuck" he reassured her, taking her hand again and leading her out of the room and down the hall.

Kate smiled slightly in return, lifting her delicate hand and shaking his extended one "Nice to meet you Dalton..I'm Kate" She looked around the place, smiling once more "You've got a nice place..! A nice group as well.." She glanced around at the other girls "But..there's no nearby flowing water.." She pointed out, accidentally giving away the fact that she must be a pretty good scavenger.

Jack completely froze at this, stiffening up. Every instinct in him told him to run. The trained hunter would know who he was in an instant. He couldn't breathe. His heart started beating fast. He stared at Opal with wide eyes "I-I really don't think...!" He tried to speak, but by then Opal was already tugging him towards her father. He was hoping he was wrong, maybe her father wasn't the hunter. He knew this was silly hope, but he could help praying it was so. His hand twitched in hers. Not only was he a vampire, but he was also a strange boy in the house alone with his daughter. That wouldn't look good. He swallowed hard, realizing he had to face this man. He slowly let Opal tug him to the front door, trying to control his heart rate.

Owen seemed amused, pleased almost that she minded her own business, but his plans involved her as well "Oh you'll be going too.." He informed, smiling slyly "Where's your favorite place to eat?" He asked, tilting his head every so slightly. He kept that sly look on his face, seeming almost smug. He had some plan going on, that was for sure.

Jack took a deep breath, trying to relax. He couldn't give a logical explanation for being so afraid, not without blowing his cover and losing Opal. He frowned slightly before looking at her. He forced a smile "Oh..? Okay..yeah I'm sure you're right.." He was glad he could have time to calm down, and he did, thanks to Opal. Her stroking his hand really helped. He smiled faintly, actually relaxing. He held onto her hand, wanting to have some support. He tried relaxing completely, and somewhat managed. Maybe he was overreacting about this whole thing.

Jackson couldn't believe what he was hearing as he led her along. That would be like giving a six year old the key to the gun cabinet. He raised an eyebrow as he led her down the three flights of stairs. He shook his head "Sorry Shiina.." He said "No can do.." He stuffed the key into his pocket instead, leaving her hand hanging, so to speak. He knew she would be upset with him, so he gave his explanation "If you had the key..you might lose it or give it to somebody else.." He glanced at her, adding something she could understand "Somebody bad..that could hurt you" He frowned "And it's my job to protect you..Giving you a key would mean I wasn't doing my job" He looked ahead again, thinking that was a duable explanation. He held her other hand tightly, but not tight enough to hurt her in any way. He simply led her outside, going for the sidewalk. He kept to the less busier side, taking her towards the nearest shop he knew had art supplies. He hoped maybe that would cheer her and lift her spirits.

Owen sat up in his chair a little straighter, smiling at her. He had been gazing at her this whole time "Then we will be going there tonight" He explained to her, practically forcing her to go to dinner with him. He didn't exactly give her a yes or no option. It seemed he wanted her to go, and he was going to get what he wanted. He always did.

Jack was very stiff, and stayed that way for a long time. He swallowed hard before speaking "It's nice to meet you too, sir" He threw in the sir just to be polite and normal. He didn't want to give off any bad vibes. He wanted to be like a normal kid. Maybe he was wrong about this guy, he didn't seem like a hunter, but then again, he himself didn't seem like a vampire. He smiled slightly at Opal as her father seemed to accept him. So far at least. He relaxed more when tea was offered. He guessed he could choke down that disgusting human drink. As long as he seemed normal. Then he realized something. Vervain..what if he served vervain tea? He was doomed, that would definitely blow his cover if he exploded into cries of pain. It would also make him seem suspicious if he denied the drink. Either way, he was so dead. He swallowed hard again, trying to relax and tell himself he was over thinking it again.

Jackson was glad when she didn't push the subject. He always liked when people just shut up and listened. He wasn't rude, he just didn't like his patience being tested, and he did not want to blow up on this sweet girl. Plus, he would probably get yelled at himself for upsetting his assignment. He stumbled slightly as suddenly Shiina was pulling him instead of the other way around. He rolled his eyes, but couldn't help smiling faintly at this. It was all so amusing to him. He was glad there was an art shop nearby, it would probably save him a lot of trouble. His amusement faded as she made her announcement. Great, it was times like this he wished Shiina was assigned to a girl. He bit his lip, something he was starting to notice he did often. He nodded once to show he heard her, then led her inside. He headed to the back, where, sure enough, there was a bathroom. He led her to the girls side and stopped at the door, releasing her hand "Okay..you go do..whatever, I'll be right here" he informed, promising his presence nearby.

Owen waved his hand dismissively "And dress nice.." He added, as if work clothes just wouldn't do. Maybe he just wanted to see her fancied up, dress and high heels. Or maybe it was something else, she couldn't tell. Owen was suspecting her. No girl just agreed like that without questions. Nobody was this happy and cheerful about a job that practically made the, a servant. This was all too strange to be true.

Jackson was not prepared for what she had done. To be honest, he didn't expect her to even know how to sneak away. He patiently waited by the bathroom door. He waited and waited and waited. He started to wonder if all girls took this long. Then he began getting nervous. He bit his lip, pacing along beside the door. Maybe she had come across some trouble, maybe she had fallen in. He didn't exactly think of the possibility that she could have gotten away, or that she would willingly run from him. Finally he had had enough. He gave a quick glance around before slipping into the girls bathroom. He felt like a pervert, but he had to do what he had to do. He silently hoped nobody was in there besides Shiina. As Jackson stepped inside, he scanned the bottom of each stall. His heart sank when there was no feet in any of them. He frantically pushed each stall door open, realizing Shiina was gone.

Panic, Jackson was going to panic. That's when he saw the open window above one of the stalls. Thankfully the clean toilet had Shiina's dusty footprints on it from her escape. He was trained in spotting these clues. He bolted from the restroom, resulting in a few of the women about to enter to let out a shriek. He didn't care, all he knew was that he had to find Shiina. He darted around the shop until he found that window again. It was above a dumpster. He leaned up on the side of it, observing a Shiina sized dint in the trash. He gave a bounce as he whipped around and took off again. His heart was racing, he might have just failed his mission. He went from street to street, alley way to alley way. He HAD to find Shiina. As he ran, he would occasionally stop to give a panicked 360 turn before calling "Shiina..!!"

Casey frowned, surprised when he suddenly got up and started pacing, looking..sick almost. She got concerned again, worried for her new found friend "Neil...?" She squeaked "Are you..okay?" She didn't understand any of this, and she was starting to get scared.
