Driz had been working and experimenting on infected prey, but results were always inconclusive. To top it off, the calico had started to develop minor symptoms of the disease. Added to her frequent nosebleeds were small coughing fits where blood would escape her maw, and she hadn't slept in a few days. Dismaldrizzle was disappointed that she had contracted the disease, but she put her insomnia to a good use. The hours she could have been sleeping she used to continue researching and coming up with treatments.
