    //ahh what is muse

The girl's ears pinned back as she watched the other stroll up to the border. Who was this, again? Pardon? she chirped, her own voice thick with her British tone. Was this someone she simply didn't know? Perhaps Bastille knew who she was.

Talk? the angel echoed back, confused. She hummed and placed her paws down on the desk, much like a human was. It was just a silly quip that she still had from her childhood. She smiled softly and nodded to the child. ... Was Gorden a child? Age was just a large mesh of numbers at this point, she had no idea what anyone was. Whats on your mind, love? she asked, shaking herself out of thought.

Pixel was lost. She couldn't hear the other anymore. Why. Why why why... Why did she have to mention them. The angel felt the blood drain from her face, her ears pinning back. She could feel cold sweat form on her fur, her already fluffy pelt sticking up. Her mouth fell agape as her eyes stared at the floor. She mentioned them. All of the memories came flooding back. They're dead.

    They're dead.

    They're dead!!

She reached a paw up, wiping away her tears. When had she begun to cry? Pixel turned up to the tiger, her broken eyes finally crying. All of her pent up sadness and morning finally boiled over. Why did you remind me? she whisped uselessly, sniffling as she tried to calm her tears. They're dead. Get over it already! They are not coming back! It was all my fault... she sobbed, covering her ears, I should have saved them... I could have saved them!

Cassius and Alfred were dead. The friends she had traveled with for a year were dead. She promised to protect them, and they were dead...

Pixel turned to Eldrich, raising a brow. Weekly tasks? Again? How many times did this happen? It was a weird vicious cycle. She sighed and turned back up to the leader, mumbling a understood under her breath. How long until something changed...

Pixel had no idea what was happening. She had just arrived and so many people were here. The bright pink feline's ears pinned back as she took a seat in the circle of forming fellows. What in the name of heavens is happening? she muttered to herself under her breath. She turned to the Lion in the middle, as he seemed to be the one calling them all here.

//sorry for the late response .3.

Pixel only sobbed as she leaned against Romania. She just whispered It's my fault... It's my fault... over and over. She was broken. Hopeless. Useless. She couldn't protect two simple canines. What made her think she could protect the world she was put charge of? She sobbed, covering her eyes. Despite the fact, tears continued to stream down her muzzle. There was just nothing left of her. Everything she did somehow hurt another. This tiger was probably mad for crying at her joining. She couldn't help it. It just hurt too much. They were gone, and she could only blame herself.

Pixel rushed in after Cherry. After raising a brow at the serval, she's never seen him before?, she turned sharply to Hazel. What's going on?? she hissed out. She could feel demonic energies in the room. Faint. The angel huffed and summoned her sword to her side. If a demon got defeated, it was more than likely either healing or mad. Do you need medical attention? she asked, her eyes scanning a threehundred sixty degrees around them. They could be anywhere.

lets go to see the stars and the moon

Pixel huffed into her white scarf, taking steps forward towards the border. It had been a long time since she has been part of a group. She had gone on a journey of self enlightenment. She was a completely different person. She felt as if... after all these years, she's calmed down. Found tranquility with who she was. The angel sighed as she sat down at the border, her blue tipped fluffy ears twisting and turning to listen to the soft breeze around her.

Winter had come. The temperature was dropping and all the wildlife was fleeing or scurrying underground. She personally loved winter. It was such a nice, beautiful season. Despite that, it had the power to destroy anything in its path, simply if it wanted to. It was a strange thought... How many creatures has she met that could be compared to that of the season of winter? There were a lot of dangerous folks in this world. But... she supposed there were also a lot of nice ones. It was just a matter of who she met. And she felt like she was finally ready to meet again. She took a deep breath and opened her eyes. Here we go.

Pixel hummed as she heard the sound of someone approach her. Her crossed eyes unsheathed themselves from behind her eyelids. She blinked as she found herself staring at only the feet of the one infront of her. The pink cat's head slowly moved up to meet the other's eyes. Speaking of potentially dangerous creatures... She couldn't help but wonder what happened to the other's face. Something like losing half of your face is not something that normally happens, so it must have been created. Or... perhaps he was born with it. Who knows.

She sees that the whole 'name and business' thing has not changed. That's interesting. She wondered if this world would ever invent passports so that one was not required to do that every single time someone showed up to the border. She imagined it got boring, but she was never one for greeting joiners. Pixel Luane. The angel answered, Pleasure to make your acquaintance, I suppose mister Forrester.

Business? Pixel echoed, her ears perking up. Oh no, I'm afraid I have no business here. I have nothing to sell you. I have been looking for a place of residency though, yes. she agreed with a smile. Her long forgotten human background has not left her. The little joke to herself was more than enough to put a smile on her muzzle. Though, if this wolf had been born here, he might be a bit confused. How rude of her to laugh at the expense of another...

Also, that is your name, is it not? Pixel chuckled, amused with the other's antics. What else should I call you? Is Rodrick your real name or a name this place has given you? she asked, her eyes full of curiosity.

The name? The name of what? Pixel giggled, continuing with her game. The is a very broad term. Is it your name? Or perhaps its his name, as people only call him rodrik? Pixel had a bright smile on her muzzle, clearly having fun with the game. Ahh, words. How one could toy with them. Twist them and bend them to one's will to paint an entirely different picture out of the same materials. It was quite fascinating.

Pixel only laughed. She laughed and laughed, snorting and chuffling. She covered her mouth with her hands as she shook her head. Sorry... sorry... I promise I'm not normally like this. She reassured. She took a few extra moments to calm herself before taking a deep breath, holding it for a few seconds, and exhaling. It's a test. I wanna know how tolerant you folks are. I promise you word play is the most malicious thing I have under my belt. She offered Rodrik a bright smile with a swish of her tail. She decided to ignore Summer, finding her snappy and impatient. Well, she'd just have to wait her turn, Pixel supposed. She was in a perfectly fine one on one conversation with this new wolf, after all, when she had butted in so quickly! She supposed the bigger cat was supposedly trying to be nice, so Pixel had to give her credit for that, she supposed.

Pixel nodded to the question. I'd love to if you'd have me. But I must warn you; I do not fight. I am trained in various healing magics and herbs and I will aid in any way I can, but if your clan were to fall to war for any reason, I cannot help you. she spoke, blinking with her ears pinned back. Not only was she declawed, she had no fighting spirit. Pixel was a calm creature, not wanting to harm even a fly with her actions.

Wedding? pixel muttered under her breath as she padded close to the two. The angel hummed and tilted her head. Good heavens, are you getting married? Of course, she knew the answer to the question. She had been eavesdropping on the conversation and heard 'me and Kili'. That meant this one was to be wed. Of course, Pixel had not a clue on who this Kili was, but she supposed she couldn't be mad about that. She was new to the clan, after all. Or... the empire? She had heard some of the oldest clans were abandoning their clan names for new ones. It was quite interesting, to say the least.

Goodness, darling. That is no way to speak to a group of children! Pixel scolded Moonstruck. Who in their right mind growled at a couple of kids? Or... at least the first one was. The other seemed to be a bit older. Meh. They were both kids to her. She huffed and rolled her eyes, staying silent after Summer spoke. She had already asked the oh so important question, so the angel had nothing left to say. She touched her paws down onto the ground, her wings fluttering as she took a seat down on the ground beneath her.

Pixel hummed at the question, turning to Kate with her expression blank. How strange. How many times was she going to be required to say her name? She supposed it was with the joining process, as she had to introduce herself many, many times in all the other places she joined as well. Last time I checked, my name was Pixel she chuckled, a ghost of a smile spreading on her muzzle.

Pixel was not good at introducing herself. She felt it was annoying and tedious introducing herself to people over and over. She found it annoying repeating herself for the same asked question again and again. So. Instead of holding a meet and greet, she was sitting in front of a small made fire, lofting a heavy kettle over it with a few metal poles she had found lying around. Why didn't she use a stove? No one would come looking in the kitchen! ... was there a kitchen?

Pixel hummed quietly under her breath as she opened the steaming kettle and placed a closed strainer inside. Various herbs including jasmine and mint blended and strained their flavors into the simmering water. She only extinguished the fire when the water started to boil and the kettle screamed. She took the kettle off of the holder and slowly padded over the a pre-set table she had set up. She poured a hearty number of tea cups and took one for herself, sitting down next to the tiny table. It had no seats, and was close to the ground so anyone could take rest there. She took a long sip of the drink, her ears twitching in harmony. People were curious. Someone would ask her what she was up to eventually, and she would offer them a cup if they wished for one.

Degrading them? Would you like to explain how? Pixel hummed, her face falling flat as she raised a disappointed brow at moonstruck. Honey. I've been around since the seventeeth century. Everyone is a child for all I care. She huffed and shrugged at the male. But if you want to get your tail in a knot becasue of a title, thats not of my business. she snapped back at Moonstruck.

Pixel frowned. She didn't sound very enthusiastic. Most bride's eyes lit up at the idea of being married, as was the stereotype. Though... from the small amount they knew each other, Pixel could gather that this summer one was not very 'emotional.' Pixel signed before offering a smile. Well the only thing I could offer is to help, no? If you'll have me, that is. she offered. She knew she wasn't on the best of terms with the other, but she also supposed the other was a bit stuck up. It was simply just a harmless joke at her joining, yet she could feel a small tension between her and the other female.
