Tammie shrugged. "Who knows? Maybe it's a giant flesh-eating lizard," she snickered. The banging ceased for a moment, a muffled 'What?!' coming from the closet, but Tammie didn't pay it any mind. "Maybe you should open it," she purred, slipping behind Tomoko to push her towards the closet. "After all, you're the more experienced magical girl here. If something that wants to tear off our faces does pop out, you can protect us~."

As soon as the doors opened, a person wearing a disheveled lab coat tumbled out. He was alive thankfully; he coughed and muttered curses under his breath as he tried to fix his now cracked glasses. Seeming to notice that there were actually people in front of him, he almost launched himself to his feet. "Ah, many thanks for opening that closet for me," he said quickly, going to shake Tammie's hand then Tomoko's. "I presume you two are here to join the club?" Though his appearance was messy, he wore a bright (albeit twitchy) smile.

Tammie let out an offended gasp, putting a hand to her chest. "Excuse me?! Constant supervision? I'm not a kid!"

The boy's face fell. "Oh. Only one other person, huh?" he sighed. But he quickly perked back up, waving his hands. "That's fine, that's fine. Don't worry, that's fine." His eyes kept twitching. It was not fine. "No, no. Not that many people joining. In fact, I'm the only one here. Which is why I'd like you to reconsider." He dropped to his knees, clasping his hands together in a begging position. "Please! Please join the science club!" He started blubbering, tears and snot running down his face. It was a pathetic sight. "I should've known that science wouldn't be popular in a school full of magical girls. Everyone's all obsessed with making things pop out of thin air. But why? Science is so important! Without it, we wouldn't be able to understand how the world works. You get what I'm saying, right miss?" he sniffled, blinking up at Tomoko.

The boy's expressioned brightened. "Really?!" He hopped up and shook Tomoko's hand rapidly, seeming almost as if he'd snap it off if he had the strength. "Thank you, miss! You're wonderful! I promise you won't regret this. Together we'll make amazing discoveries." Then, remembering that Tomoko wasn't a ragdoll, he stepped back and pushed up his glasses. "You can call me Kamana. May I know the name of my two aspiring professors?"

"Ooh, aspiring professors~" Tammie purred, winking at her friend. "Didn't think ya would choose to get stuck with me." Turning back to Kamana, she squeaked "I'm Tammie!"

Kamana smiled widely, though with the way the corner of his mouth twitched, one would think it was painful for him to do so. "Ah, very nice to meet you as well, miss Tomoko. I do hope we'll have more newcomers in the future. Science is a collaborative field after all." He nodded to himself assertively and took a breath like he was about to go off on a tangent, but Tammie cut him off before he could even get a word out.

"Thanks dude, but we gotta dash. It's getting late," she said, inching back towards the door, signaling Tomoko to follow.

Kamana just laughed it off as if he was used to this. "Okay. That's fine. I'm fine," he said, rubbing the back of his neck. "Just please show up to the meeting on time tomorrow. Don't ditch me like the group last year. And the one before that..."

Tammie had woken up late- that much was visible from her appearance. Her hair was tousled from not brushing it, there were dark circles under her eyes, and if one looked closely, they'd see some cuts and bruises on her legs. Trying to read a textbook while walking down a crowded staircase was a bad idea. She regretted rolling out of bed this morning. Spotting her friend sitting by a tree, she lazily toddled over to her. "Hey Tomo," she said with a yawn, too tired to pull any fancy greetings.

Tammie let out a disappointed groan. "Ugh, you too? I was hoping you'd be more awake than me so you could carry me to class. Now I have to find someone else to do it..." She smiled softly, though her brows furrowed like she was thinking of something else. Shaking her head, she offered a hand to Tomoko. "Shall we head to class now? It's still pretty early, but Michiko will probably let us sleep a few more minutes."

"I think that's the first cool thing I ever saw you do," Tammie laughed. "Guess it doesn't come naturally to you, unlike moi~." As she followed Tomoko into the school, she smacked her forehead in a vain attempt to keep her eyes from fluttering shut. "Ugh. I need to do something to wake myself up." Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed someone with a rather...interesting appearance? The girl was leaning against the wall, apparently watching the crowds or something. That was odd. But why not go mess with her? That was something Tammie did best!

Cackling evily like a gremlin, Tammie left Tomoko's side and skipped up to the girl, offering a wide smile. "Watcha doin' standing in the hallway by yourself, cute stuff?"

'Swirly?' Tammie repeated in her mind, exasperated. Did she look like ice cream or something? Maybe butter pecan... Her face only sported a cocky grin as Tomoko came over, not ashamed of her behavior at all. "Pleased to meetcha, babe," she hummed, winking back at Choko. So that was her name? She supposed her clothing resembled chocolate quite a bit, kind of like a fudge brownie...Suddenly dessert sounded really good right about now. At Choko's last statement, however, Tammie's skin went pale. "Wh..G-Girlfriend?" She seemed totally out of it for a moment, not sure whether she should blush or burst out laughing. In the end, she did some awkward combination of both, covering her face with her hat as she wandered off in a random direction that probably wasn't the way to class.

Tammie had to move her hat away from her face so she could actually see where she was going. Her face was red, but she was smiling as she glared behind her at Choko. "Geez, don't you know when to shut up, girlie?" Well that was pretty hypocritical of her. Tammie was one to take these situations far beyond where they needed to go. "And you!" she stared down Tomoko as she waited for her to get a little closer. Her giggling fit returned as she asked her next question. "If...if your girlfriend's not me, then who is it, hmm? What's her name~?" She wasn't going to take on all this embarassment by herself; why not drop the attention on the poor girl beside her?

Tammie tried her best to muffle her giggling at Choko's antics, but the girl's stubbornness made the situation too good to resist. She was glad when the group finally found it's way to history, else she'd probably pass out from laughing too hard, and Tomoko would probably die from embarrassment. As she witnessed her friend tackle another girl, however, her smile grew to dangerous proportions. "Aha! Target sighted!" Tammie announced, elbowing Choko and pointing at the green-haired lady. The mischievousness in her eyes couldn't be contained as she sauntered up to the other pair. "And who's little missy over here~?" she purred.

Tammie smiled briefly at Mayu as she was introduced, before making an offended gasp at Tomoko. "We've only known each other for a day? So what? Our friendship isn't enough, is that what you're saying, Tomo?" Her body slumped and she added in a few fake sniffles. "You should change your name to heartbreaker." She shuffled over to a seat next to the wall while wiping her 'tears'. Drawing her legs up to her chest, she glanced between Tomoko and Mayu before chirping, "So! How long have you two known each other? Gotta be long enough for y'all to enter such a loving embrace, am I right? Or are you guys just cuddly like that?" She figured she could tease her friend a bit more before Choko introduced herself.

Tammie clapped her hands on her cheeks, trying her best not to squee at the pair in front of her. "Muffin? Well aren't you two absolutely adorable~. Are you sure you're not a couple?" she joked, though this time her tone was genuinely lighthearted and not aimed at embarrassing anyone. "Must be nice to have someone you're close to in a field of new faces." Speaking of new faces...Tammie jumped in her seat as a girl pretty much flew into the room and slammed right into the wall. She grinned sympathetically, the situation feeling all too familiar. That looked like something she would do herself, if she had the right powers. "Woah there, you okay? Nice entrance." she called out.

Tammie waved enthusiastically at Hisae, patting the desk next to her. "Yo yo, sit here. I can teach you all about this magical girl stuff," she said, throwing in a wink. Of course, she knew next to nothing about anything, but a newbie wouldn't know the difference, right?

As Mayu finished her introduction, Tammie stared at her wide-eyed. "Holy shit! Eight years? Does that mean you're like a veteran or something?"

Luckily for Tomoko, Tammie didn't catch on to anything. "Wh...9,000? Why would you even wanna live that long? That sounds so boring! And think of all the wrinkles... No forget that, she must look like a skeleton by now. If even that..." She stared off into space, unable to comprehend how someone would preserve their appearance for that long 'Maybe she's actually a ghost? Yeah, that's gotta be it.' She eyed Mayu skeptically, smiling. "Oh, are you planning to live for a thousand centuries too?"

Tammie made a peace sign at Hisae, sticking out her tongue. "Hey man. Name's Tammie. Magical girl extrordinaire. What's with the...uh..." She made a circular motion around her face. "...Everything there? Are you cosplaying somethin'?"

Tammie looked at Mayu and Tomoko with a confused look in her eyes, though she still grinned. "Am I sensing something here? Are you--" She jumped when Choko started whining like she just discovered something unspeakable. "What? What is it?!" Her question was answered when Tomoko began stuttering and waving her arms. She did that a lot today. It didn't take long for Tammie to make a connection. "Wait, seriously?" She facepalmed and let out a snicker. "You mean all that shit I said about you being a spy was true?" A smile that could only be described as a cat smile made its way onto her face as she rubbed her hands together. "Oh my. Oh dear, Tomoko. Now that's a problem. What should we do about this~?" She sent a wink in Choko's direction. "Nice work, detective~."

Tammie stared at Hisae increduously as she mentioned losing her eye. Wasn't that like, a huge problem? With the way Hisae was talking though, she guessed it was nothing to make a big deal over. "It kinda sucked?" She repeated, laughing. "You said it so casually. I'm honored to be in the presence of a total badass~." Tammie examined the other girl's mask, tilting her head playfully. "Oh, so you're not from a war zone? Never woulda guessed. But what the heck kinda power do you have that requires you to wear a gas mask? Seems kinda dinky that it would affect you too."

Tammie looked up at Rose as she approached and might've actually greeted her...if she and Tomoko weren't already at each other's throats. She watched the exchange silently, inwardly sighing at how quickly the situation escalated. More than that though, she found herself surprised at the way Tomoko had reacted. The way she went from being sheepish to being ready to stab someone in a split second was almost scary. As the other girl went away, Tammie tugged on her hat, letting out a small huff. "Don't sweat it, Tomo. Dunno who asked her to get all aggressive about it anyway."

Tammie hummed sadly at Hisae before perking up again. "Oh, air and gas, you say?" She suddenly slammed her desk, leaning in closer. "Does that mean you can poison people? Or make stuff blow up?!" she asked excitedly, clearly not taking this seriously at all.

"Attempted murder?" Tammie let out a snort and waved her hands. "Oh geez, I sure hope not! Though we do seem to have a few, ahem, folks here," she said, her eyes trailing around the room as she thought about yesterday's events. Finally, her gaze landed on Rose. "...Some more ready to kill than others, apparently. You're not one of them are you?" She glared at Hisae suspiciously, pouting a bit. Although she was mostly joking, she didn't exactly want to befriend a psychopath.

Tammie hummed thoughtfully, her eyes shifting around. Well, they were supposed to be drafted into a war, but that aside, going all out with your magic in battle was pretty fun. "Yeah...Yeah I guess it is!" she said, smiling brightly. "You shoulda seen me the duels yesterday. I totally destroyed my opponent!" That was a complete lie, but she difn't care. Hearing the bell ring, she hopped up from her seat almost instantly. "Ah, looks like it's time for the next class. We should ptobably go before we get crushed in the hallway."

"I'm sure she knows where she's going," Tammie said as she approached the door and watched Choko run back and forth. "Yeah, definetly." Suddenly, she got an idea. "Hey, Hisae!" her eyes lit up as she pointed at the girl. "Can you do that wind thing you did to get into the classroom? But without breaking our faces? Or anything else? I'm sure we'll travel a lot faster that way!" It probably wouldn't be remotely difficult or dangerous to use that power on all five of them at once, nope.
