Oh, I love everybody's characters! I'm super excited to see how everyone interacts together! I'm glad everyone is so open about helping Nanase learn the elements too!

Bumble Bee : Hey, if I'm correct Zasa is a teacher yes? I was thinking maybe Keanu could be one of her students at the moment?

At present, Nanase was currently standing in front of an open stall showcasing a number of bracelets and necklaces, only a short way from where Ren was haranguing a local fruit vendor. One necklace in particular had caught her eye; a lovely blue gem set into a deep socket, hanging delicately from a silver chain. “It’s so pretty,” Nanase murmured to herself, eyes sparkling as she examined it. Of course, she remembered, slightly dejected, she had no money. Of any kind. And, since she was now part of a war effort, she supposed she shouldn’t really be spending money on frivolous goods. But, it was still fun to fantasize!

Nanase turned to look at something else, feeling slightly startled when her hair didn’t flit across her shoulders like it normally did. At present, her red hair was wrapped up in a scarf atop her head, concealed from view. “It’s too conspicuous,” Red had said to her, shoving the scarf in question into her hands. Nanase pouted a bit at the memory. She didn’t like it one bit, but she supposed it was for the best. Ren had more experience out in the real world then she did for sure. And speaking of that!

Nanase abruptly turned and hurried over to where Ren was standing, seeming to appear at his side she got there so quickly. “When did you say we were leaving again? Is it soon?” she asked, a hint of excitement in her voice as she looked up at him. Something else must have caught her attention, because she then declared, in a delighted voice, “Oh, look at that over there!” She didn’t move away though, instead she refocused on his face, appearing to be waiting for his answer to her question.

OOC: Actually, Keeekeeey, Nanase is standing right over next to Ren, and by extension, Che. The person you're referring to by the pigs -- Hana -- is actually Ren's shirshu! xD Also, Roy, the fruit stand seems to be where everyone is conveneing! Maybe Acadia needs to buy something?

IC: Cocking her head slightly as she examined Ren's face, Nanase waited patiently for him to answer her question. Or, at least, she was trying to, but there was just so much going on around her! She was rather oblivious to the darker-skinned girl that had slipped up next to Ren, mostly due to the fact that her attention was drawn over to where the sheep-pigs were making noise at the much larger animal in front of there pen. However, Nanase turned quickly when she felt herself by slightly jostled by a boy wearing a sunhat. It was getting quite crowded over at the fruit stand!

"Oh, we just got here!" Nanase replied cheerfully to the boy's inquiry. "But, we're actually getting to leave too! We--" However, Nanase broke off abruptly when the girl that had been standing next to them leaned in to the boy and began speaking to him, as if she were telling a secret. Nanase felt her cheeks warm slightly; she had thought that the boy had been speaking to her, not realizing it was actually the other girl and now she felt a little silly for having answered without thinking into it. She shifted, turning back to face Ren quietly, slightly less bouncey now. She couldn't hear what the girl was saying to the boy for the most part, but one thing did carry on to her ears. Nanase whipped around to face the due again so fast it was a wondered she didn't hurt herself "You're from the Southern Water Tribe?!" she demanded, eyes sparkling with glee. "That's where we're headed! You wouldn't happen to be a waterbender, would you?" Nanase asked excitedly.

"Ren, wait!" Nanase exclaimed, grabbing his forearm but using all the strength in her body to keeping him from pulling her up onto Hana with him. She didn't think he'd leave without her, but you never knew! "And don't say that to her, she's had a hard time!" she barked at Ren. How could he make such a mean comment about those bounty hunters after this girl had just barely escaped them! She'd been taken from her family! "Wait!" she demanded, letting go of Ren and hurrying after the girl before she could get too far. "I'm Nanase," she reached and took the girl's hands in both her own, gripping her hands tight. "Of course we'll take you back to your family, you can ask around about him yourself! Come with us!" she begged, smiling encouragingly at the girl. Nanase was too distracted by convincing the girl in front of her to come with them, that she failed to notice the other new girl speaking with Ren. Apparently, she'd forgotten the boy as well.

"We'll be happy to take you home! We can protect you! No one wants to mess with Hana," Nanase said lightly, nodding at Ren's shirshu.

"This is going to be so exciting!" Nanase declared, smiling happily from Che to Acadia. "It's so great to meet both of you, and it's sure to be much more fun with the two of your traveling along with us!" she declared, practically bouncing up and down. it had not occurred to her that Ren was less so thrilled than she was. Nanase, apparently having realized that Ren was becoming impatient, released Che's hands and quickly turned and hurried over to him and Hana. As she got closer, she began slowing as she approached the shirshu. Nanase hadn't forgotten her first failed attempt to mount the beast back on Oka Island, and this time she was resolved not to make a fool of herself! Recalling the ease in which she'd seen Ren swing up into the saddle, Nanase took a deep breath and then attempted to vault onto Hana's back behind Ren. The sight was rather comical as she slipped almost immediately and hit the ground with a rather audible thump. Having landed on her butt, there was a bit of pain in her tail bone, but it wasn't nearly so bad as her wounded pride. Nanase blushed heavily in embarrassment, deliberately avoiding eye contact with everyone in the immediate area, except fro Ren, who she glanced up at sheepishly. "Help?" she mumbled in a soft voice, looking imploringly at him, though still extremely embarrassed over what he was probably thinking about her at this particular moment. She hoped that they could just hurry over to the docks and get on the boat, and set all of this behind them as they set sail for the Southern Water Tribe.

OOC: Sorry for slow/short post, I was a little but ill the past few days, so I'm trying to get back into the swing of things!

Oh, that would've been so great! Then we could do the "choo choo" noise instead! *claps* I can't wait till we get to the south pole so we can see Zasa! Also, so I can start playing Keanu! Oh, and Nanase will get to start learning waterbending! *is very happy*

Nanase yelped as Ren unexpectedly pulled her upwards. She more or less flopped for a few seconds behind him until she settled and found her balance. Upon Ren's comment "to get set" Nanase inhaled sharply and latched onto his waist. She had learned her lesson the last time she'd rode the shirshu that when Ren said to hold on, he meant it. Last time, she hadn't taken him seriously, and had more or less gone flying off the back of the shirshu--just one of many in a long list of falls involving the large animal. This time she was taking no chances, so Nanse basically started death gripping Ren's waist, determined not to embarrass herself twice in one day, both times involving Hana.

Admittedly, it was a bit... weird for Nanase. To be holding onto someone's waist, and to be in close enough proximity so as to ride with them. She had never done anything of the sort before. Of course, she had never really done much of anything of any sort before, so everything was bound to be a bit weird at first. Plus, from where she was sitting on the back of the saddle, there was nothing else secure for her to actually hold on to. Thus, he current situation!

She tensed as Nanase lurched forward, but her grip loosened slightly (just barely) as she became accustomed to the shirshu's gait as they rode. Nanase couldn't help but glance around in interest at all the things they passed, and she was a tiny bit disappointed when they came to a stop at he boat. There wasn't much of interest to look around at, but her excitement was renewed when she realized that this boat was going to be the gateway to the start of her bending journey! As that thought occurred to her, she began shaking slightly in excitement.

Ren broke out of her grip as he dismounted, and she made no move to stop him or anything of the sort. Without him in front of her, Nanase eased forward in the saddle and carefully took up Hana's reins herself. Hana had thus seemed pretty docile when Ren wasn't riding her, but Nanase didn't want to take any chance. If the shirshu decided to shake her off, then she was definitely going to have something to hold onto! Additionally, she made a conscious decision to heed Ren's warning and stay sitting on Hana. As much as she wanted to jump off the beast and start exploring the boat, she at east recognized that Ren knew what he was doing much more than she did. That was why she'd hired (scammed?) him to protect her, after all. So she contented herself with sitting on Hana, lightly gripping the reins. She busied herself with examining some of the other people on the boat instead, wondering what their purposes could be going to the south pole.

OOC: I love Tau guys, he's absolutely wonderful and adorable! ^^

All done with Iris! I'm quite proud of her! ^^

Huh, why would Reya be sad? *is confused so scrolls up to read Reya form*

... My soul has exited my body, Reya has such a sad story! How could her mom kill such a cute little Eevee, that's horrible! I feel so bad for Reya, I hope Iris' girls don't make her too sad. :'( I hope Iris and Reya can become friends. Maybe they can swap grooming tips sometime!

Sanctuaryforall1 Aww, yay! I bet they'll make great friends! Iris will definitely love her Arcanine, she loves the floof and Arcanine is very floofy! If Reya ever talked about what happened to Tikki, Iris would probably cry to be honest, but she would hug Reya and tell her that her friends are her for her now. Iris is v sweet. ^^ This is random, but we should have a little bath session at some point! Like, everybody taking care of their Pokemon, and silly shenanigans ensuing. Like, I imagine a lot of Ryker's Pokemon don't like bath time!

Aww, Iris' Vaporeon and Reya's Gyarados could play around together and blast Ryker's time with water and stuff. Imagine a soaked Tyranitar being all angry with Gyarados! Ooh, what if his Sandshrew curled into a ball to hide and Vaporeon just like, bats him around. She might be to regal for that though. :D

For Hero and Desdemona, Iris would be distraught over her babies' beautiful shiny fur! But for Hermione she might just start shoveling sand on her all like, "Do you feel anything yet?" :D

Slowpoke is pretty goofy, but your probably don't want to double up. Lickitung is pretty derpy, haha! And Walrein has the Oblivious ability, so that could be a good personality thing.

Oh yes, that sounds perfect! Maybe they met up because Kelsey needed a Jolteon for her work, so she reached out to Iris and Iris agreed so they researched together, and when they finished up Iris mentioned she was going to Orre to study possible ground types and Kelsey thought it would be fun for them to travel together and Iris did too, so here they are! :D
