Character Info:
-Iris’ first Pokémon was Eevee (which she dubbed Hero). In an effort to decide what to evolve her partner into, Iris basically decided to train each type of evolution available to Eevee. As she got older and they grew closer, this morphed into an interest in studying Eevee as a Pokémon with an unstable genetic makeup.
-They decided Hero would not evolve after all.
-Iris specializes in raising Eevee and its evolutions. In fact, she has some published work on Pokémon evolutionary theory in a fairly well read scientific journal.
-In the past, she has competed in some contests as well, and denoted herself as a distinctive coordinator.
-In her free time, she enjoys drawing and painting. She is quite artistic.
-She’s a fairly friendly person, and is happy to share grooming and care tips for Pokémon with other trainers.
-She has quite the collection of evolutionary items stored up for her work.
-Although she’s never done it professional, she does enjoy battling as a hobby.
-Above all else, she just enjoys traveling and being with her Pokémon.
-Iris is very kind and compassionate, and is usually described as peppy. She has a strong sense of tenacity, so she's very likely to persevere in the face of adversity. She's also usually very optimistic.
-She loves traveling around, and is very experienced at it. She's been to a number of different climates, and actually studies climatology to a degree for the sake of her work.
-She has several sketches and paintings of places shes been back home.
-She hails from the city of Rota in the Kanto region, which is known as a tourist hot spot because of it's pristine medieval architecture.
-When she doesn't have her Pokemon with her, they stay at her home, where her brothers help look after them. She will also occasionally send Eevee to different professors so they have a chance to socialize with different species of Pokemon, but she will always pick them back up later. Iris is very careful about making sure everyone gets equal training, attention, grooming, and love.
-Iris enjoys drinking and brewing lots of different kinds of teas.
-Like her knowledge of climatology, she has great experience in a number of different environments. She's often an invaluable asset on journeys which might include harsh environmental treks.
-Although she doesn't work out, all the hiking and rock climbing and swimming she does on her travels have left her quite fit. As such, she's pretty athletic!
-She loves watching competitive Pokemon battles, and she's pretty up to date on a lot of the going-ons. Before being a coordinator, she was originally going to focus on gyms. However, she realized the creativity involved in contests was probably better for her research overall, because it encouraged her to look at her Pokemon from lots of different angles in the way battling alone doesn't.
-Don't be fooled though. She can definitely hold her own against some strong opponents.

Reason For Coming to Orre: Iris is traveling to Orre because it has one of the harshest deserts in the world. She's hoping that if she exposes Hermione to these conditions (in a safe manner, of course!) they might discover a possible ground type Eevee evolution! She's also open to potential rock evolutions and, though unlikely, steel would be good too.
History: Iris hails from Rota in the Kanto region, a very medieval city. Ever since she was a little girl, she's loved Pokemon. This is very likely due to the fact that her whole family is involved in Pokemon to some degree, with her father and elder brother having been fairly strong trainers. Her mother was a famous Poke Stylist! Iris had a very happy upbringing with her family, and was very much loved. One day, she wondered into the forest near her home, and discovered a very small, injured Eevee in the woods. Iris took her home to her parents, and they helped nurse the little (baby) Eevee back to health. They looked around for the Eevee's mother, to no avail. Iris and this Eevee grew very close, so when it was time to release the Eevee back into the wild, it was hard on both of them. However, before much could transpire a group of wild Pokemon attacked, and Eevee came to Iris' rescue. It became clear that Eevee wanted to stay with her, so Iris officially caught Eevee as her first Pokemon. She named her Hero because Iris believed the Eevee could be a great hero to lots of people some day, like she'd been to her. The two became inseparable, and the two small babs grew up together thereafter.
Iris left on her Pokemon journey a ten like most kids. At that point, she and Hero began thinking about what Hero should eventually evolve into. This is how Iris' quest for evolution began! As a few years passed on, Hero and Iris decided Hero was perfect as is, and that she shouldn't evolve after all. Together, they continued their journey, catching and training many Eevee along the way!
Other: Iris does have a few more Eevee in her care that I didn't mention, but I didn't want to make the list too terribly long! Also, if it's okay, I'd like Iris to have a Z ring and a collection of Z-Crystals? And finally, you may or may not have guessed this, but my favorite Pokemon is Eevee!
