Yes, there is no specific year, however in my personal opinion I always thought seventh years were "too old" and fifth years "too young" so I chose sixth year. It's right in between and perfect.
Saire- Thank you for your interest. I wasn't expecting another roleplayer, and Loki and WiseGuy were to have the role(s) that need to be filled. Yet, I don't want to turn a promising roleplayer away, so I would like to say as I will consider your application, Loki and WiseGuy applied first.
Also, I would like to ask you to change the Animagus part of your form. It takes years of hard work and magic to become an Animagus in the Wizarding world, and you must be properly registered. Thus, it would be highly unlikely that a Seventh year would be an illegal Animagus despite the beloved James and Sirius being able to do so to help their werewolf friend Lupin.
There was an issue back where this request was made, and I decided that it was not fair to other roleplayers and their characters. Everyone wants their character to be "special" but I can assure everybody that in the way I'm setting up this roleplay, every player will get a role in the plot.

That is what I'm planning, Saire. There will probably be Anti's spot to fill, I just don't want to open it without at least an okay from her, but so far no one has responded. I'll shoot out a second one with a warning. If they're not replied to in another day or two there will be more spots open I suppose.

Oh Loki, I think you misunderstood. Only the male Hufflepuff is able to be applied for at the moment, since Anti hasn't yet replied to me and she had an accepted character. So far, I'm not deciding anything. At the moment I'm pretty fried because I'm getting ready for a wedding that's occurring tomorrow and Sunday, so the plan is that there are two individuals who have until Sunday to respond to my PM before their characters are opened by me, and Saire will get her position. I do not want to accept WiseGuy yet because there is a chance, however small, that no more spots will open and then they will compete for the Hufflepuff position. That is my raggedy plan.
