BLUECROSSTAGS! || No one had heard her. Of course… Blue visibly started to sink in her posture – until a voice with the energy of a crack of lightning crossed the serene meadow. The girl’s muscles tensed, she visibly flinched, and she stared with a single wide eye at the approaching wildcat. Her mind raced to think of an explanation or an excuse to spill to the patroller even though she was not terribly in the wrong - but she was scared.
Then the other female was upon her and Blue was reduced to muteness for many moments. The stranger moved with such confidence and capability and something in the feline’s eyes told Blue that she was catching onto the fact that Blue was a coward. Chicago introduced the place as the Sanctuary, so it was what Bluecross had been looking for.
Slowly, the small canine was moved to speak again. This time in the presence of another. No obvious signs of aggression had come her way and she hoped the worst thing that would happen would be the other girl kicking her out of these lands. ”I was looking for the Sanctuary,” Blue told with the faintest bit of relief in her tender voice. All her traveling alone was amounting to something. At the very least she had been able to follow the vague directions given to her to this meadow.
What she wanted to ask next brought a fluttering feeling to her gut. ”Well..” She began and then paused and then took a big breath that to any normal creature would have seemed shallow. ”I. I heard that you offer shelter to people here…sometimes. I was wondering if I could see about that?” She met the pale light purple eyes of her company. She also took in the black definition around the cat’s eyes and the nose ring gleaming in the bright sun. Blue quickly broke her gaze for Chic was too intimidating.
