"Huh?" Sootpaw widened his eyes in surprise as Graystorm took him out of his trance. "Um. . .I guess i'm doing okay", the cat replied glancing at Greystorm and looking back around not holding onto the toms gaze. Swishing his tail in the awkward silence, Sootpaw mewed.,"So, how's hunting for you?" He quickly thought of a mouse brained question. Of course hunting was fine, it was new leaf(?).

Warrior Code

1.Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
2.Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
3.Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
4.Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
5.A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
6.Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
7.A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
8.The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires or is exiled.
9.After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
10.A Gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.
11.Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
12.No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.
13.The word of the Clan Leader is the warrior code.
14.An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his/her battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense.
15.A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.
16.Each Clan has the right to be proud and independent, but in times of trouble they must forget their boundaries and fight side by side to protect the four. Each Clan must help the others so that no Clan will fall.

-Medicine cats may not have a mate or kits.
-Kits must stay in camp until they are apprenticed, and are not allowed to hunt.
-The safety of the Clan is more important than the safety of one cat.
-Clans must not unite together to drive out another Clan.

Sandstar has been awake for a while, and has been comfortably laying in her est grooming herself. She's been waiting to hear Movement in the camp, and with the sound of a faint shift of a den, Sandstar flicked her ear. With the last lick of her paw, she arose from her warm abode and strutted out the den with tiredness. She would've had a great sleep if her troubles of her clan mates past hadn't bothered her. She wouldn't dare tell the clan , she knew of having a past may bring bad look to the clan. Sighing she shifted as she sat down under the fallen tree above her den. She watched as cats moved around but stayed to them selves. Lets get this started,Sandstar murmured.
Looking for a responsible cat, she spotted a great pair of cats. She purred and started off to Scarpelt and Reefclaw. "Scarface, do you mind leading a border patrol?" He faced the tom,"And Reefclaw can you take a hunting a patrol out by the river?" She waited for it to sink in and followed up. "Take any cat you want I'll be here if you need me", she meowed gain walking back to the outside of her den.

appearance: Brindleflower is a number of colors, she has chocolaty brown covering most of her with tabby marking of darker brown down her spine. The orange in her body mixes with her brown fur as its in patches; on her face and above all her legs. Her belly, chest, and paws are covered in white color making her look more feminine than her name.
personality: The she-cat doesn't say she hates her name, but always has second thoughts of her 'frilly' name. She thinks of herself more rough than more of a petty flower. Brindleflower is very brave when it comes speaking out of terms, she calls it'speaking her mind at the wrong time'. She could be snobby at times, but the cat means well. She hadn't really been the social type as young cat. Her mentor helped get her out of her shell and more of what she is today.

history : Brindleflower had once a brother, but barely knew him since he died the day after they were both born. Her parents, devastated, but were still in it to raise a strong kit. They had told her about her brother as she grew through her kit hood. She was told he would've been a great warrior or Leader, whichever path he would chosen, Brindlekit was getting annoyed of her parents sadness to their lost kit. At 5 moons she had been more shyer than ever, she had only played with her parents not the other kits or apprentices.That changed when she got her apprenticeship, Brindlepaw was starting to show her true self already by the 1st moon. Her mentor gave her confidence and helped her through her life. Her parents had actually started to drift apart and had even forgotten about her at times. She was feeling more of loner-ship than friendship, she was only happy with her mentor, which was more of a big brother, Jayfrost. They had great moments. When she got her Warrior name, Brindleflower was made to her true potential. Her mother and father died at 20 moons and funnily she felt very little grief, but she felt bad and was very sad at there passing. But has lived with peace with her 'brother'.

Brindleflower used her strength while traveling through the harsh winds and piercing snow hitting her eyes. She could barely see in front of her, but barely making out the trees in her way.
She had started feeling her paws going numb through the freezing snow, more of which she was getting colder and it was started with her paws. Her fur, which is not long at all, has not helped her one but through her years of Leafbare. Brindleflower was getting weaker with every step she took. She was struggling to keep going and be the brave warrior she was, but collapsed. . [hr]

Noticing a familiar cat from the corner of her eye, Sandstar turned her head to see Pinefrost. He greeted her with a nod and a 'good'morning',and took it to continue the conversation. "Good'morning to you too,Pinefrost, and actually yes", she meowed with tilting her head toward the sky,"the weather isn't that bad for leafbare,"With a quiet purr she joked. "How did you sleep?" she questioned while looking at the tom. "Also, when you came out did you see if Timberpelt waking by any chance?" Sandstar knew her deputy would already be awake. Maybe he had trouble with hi sleep too? she thought to herself hoping she was right.

"I didn't hear anything and I sure didn't send him on anything?" She mumbled just so Pinefrost to hear her. "Maybe your right". She was thinking of going in the warrior den, but was also thinking of waiting for the tom. Oh well she thought,"Well, would you like to take a walk?" she meowed in question. Sandstar had always liked taking walks around the territory. It reminded her of what she was protecting as a leader, always refreshing her mind of happiness.

About to reply, the tan she-cat turned her head to a familiar meow,Reedpaw. "Good'morning back to you Reedpaw", Sandstar quickly said back to the young apprentice. But remembering Pinefrost was accompanying her on the small walk she was going, she turned her attention back on him. "I don't mind going myself, if yu wnat to train Reedpaw?" She asked the tom.
