    plot / When Viking children reach their mid twenties, they often go on a quest of sorts to earn their Viking name. If there happen to be several of these "fledglings" all at the same time, they will go on this mission together. Our characters are all out on there small quest - discovering a new island, and surviving there alone for a week - when dragons attack them, destroying their camp and taking off north with their supplies. Eager to complete their naming quest and impress the elders, they decide to go after the dragons instead of returning to get help. What they find is a giant island made of hardened lava and surrounded by ashy clouds, harboring as many secrets as it is dragons.

    setting / our clan lives on the island of berk. It's in the middle of the vast sea. There's no inhabited islands for miles in each direction, though there are plenty of uninhabited islands. Our houses all look pretty much the same. They're situated around the town center, the hall. It's where the chief holds clan meetings and where all celebrations are held, including the naming ceremony.




    There's plenty of other places in the world, places we haven't even discovered yet. But I'm sure we'll find them all eventually.

    HAGAN HADDOCK is the twenty three year old son of the chief. He's scrawny and probably couldn't even lift a battle axe, but he's got a big heart and a brain to match. He's the natural leader of the group, though they generally all pitch in. A bit sarcastic and definitely dramatic, it's obvious that Hagan has a uniqueness to him that makes him both relatable and an outcast all at once. He's desperate to prove himself, which might make him oblivious to consequences, and yet somehow he almost always fixes whatever disaster he was about to - or sometimes already did - cause. He rides a male nightfury with a big, goofy personality named Nòtt. reference.
