[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]Chicagocrimes was a familiar face, by this point in time. The serval would approach the other as if their arrival was rather frequent - after all, she popped up often. She was a representative of a clan whom happened to press efforts into making her presence known, without being obnoxious. Though, perhaps the fact that she sought for a dual-joining had been slightly different from her usual agenda, and therefore, presented itself as a small, but pleasant surprise. "Yo, Chica." The serval would greet, raising a forepaw and offering her a heedless wave, whilst a blithe grin traversed his jaws. "Welcome to the clan, then." Something had happened, surely.. Something had happened, but he wouldn't pry for now - especially seeing as Frighty had already inquired of the other's reason for slipping from the Sanctuary. Euph had already covered the tour and the likes, too. "Let me know if you have any questions or concerns whilst you're here, alright?"

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]"Derrick." The serval would resound with a steady sigh. "Steel yourself, already." Derrick's son was missing, then? "Are you gonna panic, or are you gonna propose a raid to get your son back?" Nighttales would resound, expression dimming for a brief moment. He was assuming that he'd take the latter option, though. "Are you leading it, or am I?" He wouldn't mind, after all, but he had no eagerness to waste time. Perhaps, he was being a little more harsh than usual - but Derrick was someone he had known for a while, and he wouldn't allow for the other's panic to loiter and bind their actions for long.

His heterochromatic orbs shifted towards Neo, whom hadn't mentioned anything - as expected, of course, but he'd speak to her anyway. "The Cartel is.. Actually, they aren't an enemy of ours yet, but it looks as if we'll have to change that." Night figured that he'd explain briefly - though, perhaps she already knew? Who knew, but he didn't want to just leave her lingering, seeing as she might've had questions that she'd have wanted to ask.

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]"Well aren't you a loud one?" The serval would resound with a blithe chuckle. "Perhaps, I'll arrive sooner if you say 'please', next time around." Nighttales would tease - though, possibly, he was somewhat serious. He wouldn't arrive in a timely manner to bashful shouting, after all, and seeing as Vol was seeking to somehow manage to.. mellow-out Eclipsecub, somewhat, he figured that if the other knew that 'please' would present him with quicker results, then maybe he'd begin using it. "What is it, then?" He'd inquire, quirking a fictional brow as he drew to a halt before the pair.

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]"Oh, but I am being patient with him, Vol." Nighttales would resound with a hefty sigh, fictional brows knitting in a rather weighted manner. Honestly.. What had he done to piss of his comrade to such an extent? Though, then again, he couldn't really blame Vol either, could he? Nighttales just hadn't said the right things at the time, had he? He had never been one to say particularly hopeful or inspiring words, and he doubted that such was what Vol had needed at the time, either. They had been dragged through the mud, time and time again. Nighttales supposed that he just hadn't been able to do anything for them, in the end. The least he could do was just shrug off their bashful attitude, right? Or perhaps, dismissing it was worse. Who knew, now? It was almost as if.. whatever had existed between them, had been jaded, and thinned: like blood had been dilated by water, or a rope had been whittled away by the wind. Nighttales wouldn't drop his end, though. Or, perhaps in Vol's perspective, he had seemingly dropped it a long while ago.

"A mentor, hm?" The serval would hum, before resounding with a sigh. "You know that our perspective on what is best will probably differ." After all, he would have said that Gideon or Euphemia would have made the perfect mentor, to some - but individuals such as Yuri would easily differ in opinion. "Why don't you pick and ask, Vol? I'd say that the list Yuri gave sounds like a good array of candidates, to myself." The serval would add. "I can offer to teach, too." Though, with all the venom that Vol seemed to slide his way, he wasn't too sure as to whether he was just asking for it, by suggesting such a thing.

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]It seemed as if things were working out perfectly. Well, not everything was clean-cut, and yes, the Doctor-position technically wasn't filled. But, Sarangerel would have the capabilities of a Doctor, and would train Cottoncandypaw, too. Such was a relief. A light grin graced his jaws, and he'd resound with a relieved sigh. "Well, would you look at that." There were always methods to fix problems, but it seemed as if his daughter had stepped in to save the day, this time around. "Thanks, Sarangerel, you're a life-saver. Quite literally, too." Considering that she was a medic, and all.

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]"Lightsails, huh?" The serval would allow a blithe chuckle to skim his jaws. "That's actually a nice name, not gonna lie." Nighttales added - of all the substitutes that had come thus-far.. That was likely the closest thing to a real name that Damiano had gotten.. And the fact that they were able to regenerate names this easily was beginning to reach astonishing heights.

Anyhow, Nighttales arrived shortly after Nefariouskit, and though they sat a little ways away, he'd pivot briefly towards them, and quirk a fictional brow. "You don't want anything?" Perhaps, they didn't like the idea of giving a stranger a hug - actually, that was probably better, in all honesty. He was rather relieved that children weren't comfortable with offering hugs to strangers loitering by the border for sweets.

However, Radioactiveplague was someone whom he found greatly familiar, and whom had been around for quite some time, as of now. "Yo, Radio." The serval would add, a blithe grin gracing his jaws, followed by a brief wave. "Sweets, huh..? I'll check if there's something to my liking, I suppose." Nighttales wasn't someone who tended to dish out hugs often, but it wasn't something he'd necessarily shy away from, either.

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]"Hmm." Nighttales couldn't say that he had known Winter, upon noting the frame briskly weaving by the borderline, and departing. He supposed that there was nothing to comment on. She had been around, and she had been familiar, but she had really attempted to keep to herself, up until the very last moment. It seemed as if she had other priorities after all, and that was fine. It was an understandable matter - clans didn't exist for everyone to immediately rope themselves to, permanently, for the rest of their lives. Not always, anyhow. That, and loyalty was a truly fickly thing, nowadays. If anything, everyone was loyal to themselves, and a lot of the time, only themselves - and that was how the world worked, and it was best that way. Not in a cynical manner, or anything of the likes: but if someone departed because they merely had other places to be, then hey, Nighttales could understand that perfectly well; it wasn't as if he was touchy about these kinds of departures, after all.

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]"So, you're wanting me to make you a list of possible candidates to become Eclipsecub's mentor?" The serval quirked a brow before resounding with a sigh. "I already said, Yuri's list sounds like a good one to me. Rick and Yuri would be rather strict in their teachings, whilst Frighty would make for a good teacher too." The latter likely being a little more patient, perhaps.. Possibly.. Actually, he wasn't too sure of Frightfur's teaching methodologies. "There's also Gid and myself." The serval would have suggested Euph, too, but it was possible that he wouldn't really wish to deal with Eclipsecub's bashful tactics. "There, list made, no?"

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]"Damiano." Nighttales would resound with a blithe chuckle, quirking a fictional brow as he overheard the other individual call for a meeting. Sure, sure, it was all fun and games, so he'd listen up, and entertain these several secrets about himself, that even he didn't happen to know of. However, it was then that he happened to overhear the other speaking of the fact that he was cheating on his fiancee, with Papika? It wasn't as if he'd get up, and throw a fit - he wasn't really the type of person to expose such frustration, and even now, he knew that this was all merely silly. However, he'd offer the slight shake of his head. "This is usually funny and all, but that's disgusting." Night would resound, offering a heedless shrug. "I think of Papika as my daughter."

He paused for a moment, briefly observing the various photo hovering around. "Look, I find your antics amusing and all. But, don't drag Papika into this, Damiano - especially in this way." This was almost making it out as if Papika constantly loitered around older men for the sake of forming relationships with them. Sure, Damiano was stupid at times like these, and therefore, amusing - and Nighttales really wouldn't mind the other attempting to 'foil' the truth behind the apparent enigma that happened to be the Commander.. But, illustrating Papika in such a perverted manner was something that even he wouldn't stand for. "Sure, most of the time, things are nothing but a big joke: but implying that a child is in some sort of romantic or sexual relationship with an older man is really a step too far."

He paused, withdrawing a brief sigh. "Soooooo sorry about this, but I'm going to have to get rid of these, alright?" Nighttales would add, offering a shrug, before attempting to conjure some fire and splash each ember in turn upon the various photographs.

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]"Pros and cons, huh?" The serval offered a shrug, before shifting his heterochromatic orbs towards Yuri in a jesting manner. "What are your cons, Yuri? I'll take note of them for you." Nighttales would return his mismatched orbs to Vol, before resounding with an eventual sigh. "So, you don't know anyone's pros and cons at the moment, for yourself? I can't see why I can't gather some, then. Though, what do you suggest as being 'capable', Vol? Activity? Combat-ability? Sociability? I need to know what kind of person you're looking for first. 'Capable' is too vague of a term." Plus, there were reasons as to why Eclipsecub might need all of those aspects within his life, at the moment. Someone who was around often. Someone who could teach them how to fight in a coordinated manner. Someone to teach them how to act, too.

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]"I thought so." The serval would respond, offering the child a light smile, before then supposing that he'd suggest the idea he had in mind. "Pick something then, and I'll get it for you. Sound good?" Though, perhaps they wouldn't enjoy that, either. Kids could be peculiar with what they wanted, after all, and Nighttales supposed that if they just.. didn't want anything, then that was fine to. But, if they did, then the serval wouldn't mind fetching them something in their place, too, if that made it easier on them.

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]"Not just that, but you look a little.. different." Nighttales would resound in a contemplative manner, drawing to a halt shortly after Vol had arrived, before his heterochromatic orbs would promptly shift towards Papika, as she noted the tail sprouting from Mid's spine: an extra one. "Oh, you grew a new one?" The serval inquired, quirking a fictional brow. He was certain that such was what it was, and the fact that Papika had been quick to pick up on its newfound presence only confirmed his assumption. "I'm guessing that's why you look so grim, then." He'd add, fictional brows knitting in a subtle concerned manner. "Want me to fetch Cottoncandypaw for you, Mid?"

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]"Hatari?" Nighttales would inquire, quirking a fictional brow in a rather curious manner, considering the way by which they had been pacing. However, their actions were certainly concerning, seeing as it implied a certain depth to their thoughts, which was somewhat obvious by this point in time. "What's up?" The serval didn't pace often himself, though - when he sought to think, he took a stroll. Though, such idle walks were reserved for the dusk, seeing as he would be one of the few individuals awake at the time, given his contract with Demios.

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]"Oh, from the Tribe?" Nighttales would resound with a pleasant hum, quirking a fictional brow in a curious manner. "Well, it's a pleasure to meet you both. I'm Nighttales Xerses, by the way." The serval added, introducing himself, whilst allowing a blithe grin to easily skim his countenance. Horizon and Beni, huh? Hardworkers, it seemed - after all, they had only become allies recently, and the Tribe was already particularly eager to keep in touch with them? Such was always a good impression - though ever since their new leader had taken up the reigns, it seemed as if good impressions where all in which he had received. They had done well as neutrals, too, which was an impressive feat, no doubt. "How is the Tribe faring, by the way?" He figured that he would inquire, out of a subtly piqued interest.

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]"Oh, Yo Daichi." Nighttales would resound, a heedless grin illuminating his countenance, as he'd proceed to draw to a halt beside Papika and Damiano - whilst sparing a blithe chuckle as his reaction to Damiano's brash retorts towards the kai-ken. "Did you get a good rest?" The serval figured that he'd inquire - the question did seem fairly general, though underlying concern loitered in his inclination to resound with that one in particular. After all, Daichi's werewolf predicament had kept him from sleeping for quite some time, before. Nighttales didn't sleep at all, nowadays - but his body was capable of handling it, due to Demios' contract, and even treated it as an advantage. Daichi on the other hand had suffered from such.

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]"It's white sticky rice rolled into a ball-ish shape, essentially." Nighttales would resound, drawing to a halt by Mid and Gid, pivoting his heterochromatic orbs briefly towards the pair. "They have a strip of dried seaweed on each, and sometimes you can put stuff inside it, such as fish or meat, or even red-bean paste." Though, the latter was more of a dessert-ingredient, in the end. "And you can make the rice in several different ways by adding different grains or mixing bits of seaweed into the actual rice before balling them up." The serval finished his elaboration with an airy sigh, before returning his gaze to Daichi. "I'll take one too, if you don't mind." He'd add, offering his comrade a blithe grin - after all, they looked delicious, and easily tempted Night into wanting to pluck one for himself.

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]Nighttales had been nearby the docks, also, at the time, perhaps reflecting on a woman THINGS - though not to the significant extent that he had fought himself buried too deeply in his own contemplations. Thus, he managed to hear Retrokig's resounding calls for Nef, and his mismatched orbs would pivot briefly towards them whilst passing by. "I'm sure he'll be along in a moment, Retrokit." The serval added, before deciding that it was likely best if he didn't linger for too long, seeing as the other was evidently seeking their brother to gift him with the plushies that they kept tucked away from the river.

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]Nighttales wasn't really the type to enjoy stuffed animals, simply because he had never been the type to fuss over toys, despite the comfort that plushes could give. They were nice to have, certainly, but he had never gone out of his way to collect them, either. The serval drew to a halt beside Paprika, briefly noting her somber exprsssion, before promptly shifting his mismatched orbs towards Imo - whom seemed to be offering her the rabbit-toy. He paused, and figured that he wouldn't intercept, though a smile managed to grace his maw briefly in the meanwhile. Night's gaze then pivoted towards Jessie, and her array of plush-animals. "Hm.. I wonder if there's one that Spec would like.."

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]"Sounds neat, Seija. We'll be there; thanks for the invite." Nighttales would resound, offering Seija a blithe grin, alongside a nod. A late new year's celebration, huh? It wasn't too late, in his own opinion - not all celebrations had to be on the immediate day, after all, and he actually preferred it when people weren't rushing to cram celebrations regarding an entire year, into a singular night. However, the serval certainly would have been somewhat curious to hear of this attack that Lithiumclan was being understandably wary in regards to.

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]Seeing as Derrick's son had recently been taken by the Cartel, it seemed as if they would have to finally begin conflict with this one group, with somewhat of a puzzling agenda. Though of course, were they to simply hand Aleks over, then there would be no problems, would there? Anyhow, the serval drew to a halt in the center of camp, parting his jaws before resounding with a brief announcement. "Derrick's son, Aleks, has been captured by the Cartel." The serval would resound, allowing for people to gather throughout a momentary pause, before continuing to elaborate. "Therefore, gather here if you want to participate in the rescue-raid." It probably seemed rather abrupt - but they'd tell the Cartel what they were there for, and if they were to deny as such, then they'd have to form a rather convincing argument otherwise.
