[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: arial; text-align: justify; width: 400px;]Sutton looked increasingly confused until he revealed his loss of memory. Oh. That explained the up characteristic timid nature. But still, it was so weird watching Epsilon act like this. And to act like he was afraid she was going to hurt him or something! "Well, I won't lie. You were kind of an asshole." Sutton said, stepping back in hopes she'd appear less threatening by giving a little bit of distance. "But we got along just fine, you and I! Old allies." Sutton said, vaguely wondering how much he remembered.

She waited for a reaction of any sort for a moment, then faltered. If he was so concerned about his behavior in the past, would he think she was a bad person for having associated with him? Sutton quickly went on to add, "Look. You weren't all.. Whatever you are now, manners and all- but as I knew you, you were an alright guy. You had a big personality, but our tribes were allies." She said, wondering who all had hated him so much that he'd gotten convinced his past self was some horrible bully. He wasn't perfect, and Sutton didn't know his whole story, but she knew he didn't deserve to have such a low opinion of himself.

"Do you remember anything?" She asked.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: arial; text-align: justify; width: 400px;]Sutton was never far from these kinds of situations it seemed. She could not catch a break with run-ins with humans. When she scented Mercury and humans, their paths mingling at certain points (although likely different times), Sutton grew worried. She did not want the same to happen to Mercury as had happened to her. They didn't deserve that.

Of course, awhile Sutton knew she wanted to help them, she also was aware of two other glaring details: A) she was injured and would not be able to make any quick movements and B) she was a tiger. The second part was fixable, she could always shapeshift, but even then, what would her plan be? To distract them somehow so Mercury could run off before they noticed them? By now the humans were probably growing suspicious of all the odd activity about the area- the noises, the attacks, the occasional odd sighting. Maybe eventually it would all prove useful to scare them off, but as it was now, it only made things more dangerous for the RadicalClanners since the humans were on such high alert.

Sutton shrunk down into a raccoon so that she could get closer without arousing suspicions of any sort. At worst, the humans might think her to be rabid for being out in daylight if they saw her. She inched nearer to where Mercury was standing still. "Hey. Shh, this way." Sutton called, her voice hardly above a whisper as she tried to get Mercury's attention. She didn't fully expect them to move to follow her as they appeared planted to the ground in fear or shock, but she hoped that her presence and encouragement might help convince them to quietly get out of any possible line of sight of the humans.

They'd have to get out fast, though. The humans would not overlook a many-tailed animal as just a regular oddity of nature, even more so now with all that had been going on.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: arial; text-align: justify; width: 400px;]Sutton had not forgotten about the whole incident involving the Rift either. In some ways, she had expected them to come back. Not everybody had necessarily looked happy when Talia called for the cease-fire, and she knew they wouldn't blindly accept Sutton's word. And yet, they hadn't been back for a long time. Apparently both sides had been able to uphold their promise.

Although her concerns about it all had not completely gone, Sutton had other things to focus on at this point. She did not have the time to worry about the Rift when there humans about the camp and territory. Things were growing more dire with each passing moment, and the temporary hidden camp they'd settled into to avoid humans was beginning to feel permanent. How long before Peter and Leon would just call it, and move?

Sutton did not want to see another clanmate injured or affected by the humans. If it wasn't for Saito's super speed, he certainly would have been shot. And Sutton, who lacked that ability, she was shot. And she knew it was only a matter of time now before someone else was hurt, or killed. Wanting to clear her head of these thoughts for at least awhile, Sutton slipped out of the makeshift camp. She limped along the border, and noticed a familiar smell.

The Rift. She tensed, and her mind flashed to her shoulder, wrapped with bandages. If they were hostile, she would not be much help for RadicalClan in her current state. Still, she could not turn back. So Sutton advanced and found it to be Talia standing there, coughing a bit. Sutton's feelings toward her were mixed- she never fully felt comfortable with the Rift, and probably never would, but from what Sutton knew, Talia was a creature of her word, she was respectable and fair. Sutton nodded her head in just a tiny gesture, although she knew better than to get too comfortable before she knew what the whole situation was about. "Talia. Can I help you?"

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: arial; text-align: justify; width: 400px;]Sutton looked at Talia closer now- she did not look well, either. What had happened to her, she wondered. Still, she would not bring it up. It seemed as if Talia wasn't eager to share whatever illness had fallen upon her. She opened her mouth, about to say something, when Lunae approached. Please, Sutton thought, don't let her ruin this. She shot the kitsune a cold look. "She's come on friendly terms, Lunae. She's to be treated with respect."

She turned back to Talia, and while the tigress still held some bit of skepticism, logic overruled old grudges. Talia had been true to her word in the past, and she had no trouble believing she was here on no unfriendly terms. She was clearly a bit surprised to have her coming around offering help after everything that had happened between their two clans, but Talia looked as genuine as Sutton could imagine. "Anger and grief often leads one to overlook logic and only want revenge. But you listened. That's character. Thank you." She said. Sutton realized that the Rift's previous departure had been sudden and tense, and she'd never truly thanked Talia.

The deputy nodded with Peter's words. She did not mention yet a move, as that had never been openly discussed much yet, although she suspected that's what he meant by saying that they'd have to come to a final decision. "Our problems seem persistent, and the humans are getting more... Bold." She said, thinking of the hunters and the shooter. "I don't know what can be done to help, but I'm not much of an ideas girl..." She paused, looking at the others and then back to the visitor. "Regardless, your extension of help is a very much appreciated surprise. I know many see us still as the enemy, but I hope relations can eventually be repaired."

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: arial; text-align: justify; width: 400px;]Maybe Peter wasn't calling her, but his seemingly urgent shout piqued her curiosity (and concern) and so Sutton rushed toward Peter. She opened her mouth, about to ask him what he needed when her gaze dropped to his leg and she snapped her mouth shut, accidentally biting her tongue in the moment. Her surprise overpowered any kind of reaction to the brief sting. "What the hell did that poison girl do to you..." Sutton muttered, mostly to herself.

She dug her claws into the dirt angrily, because Peter of all people did not deserve this! And there was that nagging worry in the back of her mind... What if it got worse? Then what would they do? "I'll find Saito, he's got to be around. Don't move that leg of yours." Sutton said, beginning to scan the area for Saito.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: arial; text-align: justify; width: 400px;]Another Lunae kid? Sutton was having trouble keeping up. She limped over and gave the young member a little nod of hello. "Good to meet you, Rec. I'm Sutton." She introduced herself.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: arial; text-align: justify; width: 400px;]awesome! I'll probably leave this open awhile longer so that everybody can finish up and stuff, thank you for taking care of badges, loner!

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: arial; text-align: justify; width: 400px;]i love all the rocks

    ok so what about this::
territory is mostly a canyon like in picture three, with a good river running through for fishing [possible good things: fish (prey), swimming as a passtime, natural barrier to keep enemies out. possible dangers: fast in some parts, rocky and dangerous like the rivers for white water rafting]
The canyon can kinda be mostly closed off, surrounded possibly by forest and the entrance into the canyon can be like natural arches around where areas of the rock have been eroded by the river which is now dry (arches can be like those in pictures 1, 5) and these arches can form natural bridges and stuff.
maybe camp can be like multi leveled, within caves and stuff and you can get from place to place by these land bridges and such?

just an idea to maybe get things going. boy oh boy i love rocks

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: arial; text-align: justify; width: 400px;]Sutton frowned at Saito's rough handling of Peter, and she bared her teeth in warning. "It won't kill you to be a bit more respectful." She snapped, although she was quiet after that. There was no sense in starting an argument with the issue at hand, and she knew it was in Saito's nature to be kind of a grump. The tigress narrowed her eyes in concentration as she watched Saito get to work, and she didn't realize at first that he was asking her for something.

She glanced up and blinked. "Ice? In the middle of spring?" She said, clearly doubting the possibility. Nonetheless, the tigress conjured a small pail and started off. It wasn't hard at all to get water. That could easily be fetched from a number of sources. Ice would be the tricky part, but she had a feeling she knew where to find some. Not that it'd be safe. She shifted into a raccoon and left the pail in a hidden spot before she went to where the humans had been staying. Her fur prickled, but it was daytime and many of the men were out in the mines.

Sutton rummaged through their things shortly before finding a cooler. It was hard at first to maneuver her awkward paws around the lid, but she managed to pry it open. A Solo cup was lying as litter on the ground near a chair and she used it to scoop some ice from the cooler. She scurried back to her pail, shifted back into her natural form and returned to Saito and Peter.

"Ice and water." She stated, dropping the materials near him.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: arial; text-align: justify; width: 400px;]Sutton nodded. "We could use the knowledge, really. The sooner you hold a session, the better probably." She said. Even though they had Saito now and he'd proven himself a good healer, there was always the possibility he wouldn't be around one day. They might need some others to know about healing in case of his absence.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: arial; text-align: justify; width: 400px;]Sutton didn't know a whole lot about Astrum, but from what she did know she wasn't too inclined to agree with. No wonder the goddess hadn't magically healed her. Sutton wasn't exactly preaching in her name. "It's come and gone. I think Nevaeh showed symptoms at one point, but she's long since disappeared." Sutton said, half to Peter, half to Talia. "Things started out like illness, the possession was almost like the final stage of whatever it is. I've only been completely possessed by it twice, and the second time was a very short blackout, like I could almost fight it." She was not sure if her explanation was very helpful, but Sutton figured some information was better than none. "But there was no indication a blackout would happen until it did. No voices, no odd feelings prior, at least for me. And since, the symptoms have mostly left me. It's almost like it picks and chooses victims, because Astrum definitely didn't do any healing for me."

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: arial; text-align: justify; width: 350px;]nowadays so many territories are just in places formerly inhabited by humans where it's all very developed and stuff, so I think this would be different and kind of unique from what much of the site has been doing.

i like the idea of members sort of building upon it on their own, maybe creating structures and building along the way. You always see clans living in neighborhoods or cities or the like, but rarely one built by the members themselves. It would be cool to develop the territory like that.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: arial; text-align: justify; width: 400px;]/sorry for the late response!

Sutton frowned. Apparently there wasn't much to go off of, then, and she hadn't known him long enough or well enough to just explain everything. He'd have to recover the memories on his own somehow. The tigress shifted, her tail lashing behind her as she thought. "I mean, you got one memory back, right?" She said, trying to sound optimistic even if she had no idea how to help him. Not that he'd asked for help, but Sutton planned to regardless.

"That means they're still there, somewhere. It's a matter of recovering them. Do you remember what you were doing at the time you remembered?" She asked as a new idea came to her. Maybe something triggered his memories. Sutton wondered briefly if she'd be able to navigate to the old Tribe of the Harvest Moon territory- it was probably long abandoned but if he was brought back there, even briefly, it might spur something.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: arial; text-align: justify; width: 400px;]Sutton had seen this coming- despite all their attempts to change things, the humans were sticking around. But honestly, she was used to moving around at this point and the tigress figured that as long as she was with the clan, she was happy. "Noted, Peter." She said with a nod. There wasn't much she really wanted to keep, and so she glanced at Leon, who appeared more troubled by the news. "Hey, if there's anything you need help bringing along, I can carry stuff." She offered.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: arial; text-align: justify; width: 400px;]Sutton padded up soundlessly behind Leon, although she debated whether it would be best to leave him alone. She was a good, stable creature. Knew right from wrong, always did her best to be helpful and kind. But she had never been very good at lending comfort. Sutton was a hard one, and it didn't make it any easier that she and Leon had never grown extremely close.

The tigress cleared her throat awkwardly and sat down. "I imagine this can't be easy." She said, nodding to his things. They were, really, the last things he had left from his old home. Sutton knew what it was like to miss a place like that. She often dreamed about the old Tribe ruins. But the pain had eventually dissolved into fond memories. "I could help bring things. I don't have anything to carry for myself, and Peter said himself that you can pack things for the trip." She offered.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: arial; text-align: justify; width: 400px;]Sutton had not seen Lunae go, but she'd noticed her ditch the meeting. And then she simply hadn't been around again after that. The tigress was unsure how she felt about it. She almost felt guilty to think of it, but she was maybe a little relieved. Lunae was unstable, and they needed some stability to make it through the trip. At the same time, Sutton had once had a friend in Lunae, or so in her opinion. But that was all before the personality change. Before this Lunae.

Either way, she did not have time to overthink the disappearance of the kitsune. If Sutton knew anything about Lunae, she'd be able to handle herself, wherever she was going. And man, did the tigress hope she might have a change of heart.
