[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify]Sanguine didn't feel terribly motivated to do much of anything, but she approached her brother nonetheless. The serval flicked an ear absently and made a point of staring off into the distance. Just, you know, to make sure everyone knew she couldn't give less of a shit about what was going on. It was part of the image. "I guess I'll take a stab at it. Give me one." the femme finally said slowly, after a lengthy period of silence.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify]Sanguine joined the crowd as well, casting the newcomer a look of mild curiosity. A new member, hm? They were clearly in need of members, that was certain, but the whole concept of taking in strangers without knowing a thing about them still baffled her. It wasn't like she had any say in it, of course, as it was common practice, but it still felt weird. "Hello. I'm Sanguine." she stated anyway, taking a seat by Queralt and Wadanohara.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify]Sanguine supposed it couldn't be too hard to learn herbs, and someday it would undoubtedly prove useful, so she sat down with the others and gave Queralt a nod of greeting. She made a quick attempt to guess what the herb in question was, but her mind drew a blank, so she said nothing. How did medics remember all those, anyway? Sounded like a boring job.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify]Sanguine responded to the decision with a satisfied grin. Good to know Q was aware what she was all about. San held a firm pride in her home and its reputation, and enjoyed any chance she was given to expand the group's influence and power. Unfortunately, her ambition vastly eclipsed any sense of reason she might hold in regards to a fair raid, so her choice of enemy was perhaps a bit unwise. "How does RiverClan sound, Q? I know they have a lot of supplies and shit, could be useful. Scare 'em a little. I know we're outnumbered, but I can make it a quick job." the serval explained, her unsettling amber gaze locked on her brother. She was less asking for permission and more asking for an opinion she probably wouldn't listen to, in all honesty.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify]Well, Sanguine had absolutely no decency, so she went right ahead and pointed it out. "Shady name, dude. Foxheart. Outta curiosity, where are you from? Just wondering is all." the serval stood beside her brother and Wadanohara, head tilted in obvious uncertainty. It wasn't that she didn't mean to pry, because she did, it was just that she felt they had a right to know who was joining the family, in her opinion. "I'm Sanguine by the way. Sanguine Rose." the wildcat remembered to add.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify]Sanguine weighed her options, unblinking. RiverClan was booming, it was true, they had grown considerably and were becoming more well known again. That also meant, despite their numbers though, that they had a lot more supplies. More goodies. If they could strike fear into such a large force, it might give the Skulls a needed boost in reputation. But then again, what if they were beaten? It seemed very unlikely to San, because she didn't see anything past her invincible image of herself, but she supposed it could possibly happen.

She could listen, she decided, to Q, and attack SolsticeClan if she wanted. They were smaller and would be easier to beat up and run from. It was the safer route. But where on earth was the fun in that? How boring. If they only struck at weaklings, they were just petty bullies. If they hit a big power and were successful? They'd be seen as more than that, as a more frightening foe.

Finally, Sanguine made her decision. "I'll lead a raid on SolsticeClan. If it goes well though, — which I know it will, mind you — we're definitely hitting RiverClan, got it? We'll have to!"

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify]Sanguine was always up for some grunt work, even such a small task as delivering a message. It felt like a great purpose, even though it was small, to act on behalf of the Skulls. The serval padded over slowly, listening to her brother's proposal. Hmm, where did she want to go? There were quite a few options, after all. "I can visit the Aristocracy." Sanguine finally volunteered, her copper gaze wandering to the horizon. She had heard about a revamp in leadership in that place, and wanted to see for herself what was up with that.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify]For her assigned task, Sanguine had been asked to lead a raid on an enemy, which in this case was SolsticeClan. She'd been dreaming of a bigger fight, but whatever, that would come with time. The serval sat just outside camp, tapping a paw against the ground impatiently. "Anyone that wishes to join the raid party on SolsticeClan, follow me! This is going to be a quick hit and run, try to take herbs or supplies if you can find them and don't hesitate to attack anyone that gets in your way!" San exclaimed, heart pounding in her chest already. She hoped these SolsticeClanners wouldn't be a waste of their time.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify]Sanguine was uncertain how many enemies would stand in their way, or even how much they stood to gain from this, but the serval was determined to make it a success nonetheless. Two amber optics scanned the surroundings from the shadows, and a slender wildcat crouched, unmoving, in the outskirts of the Clan's camp. The raid party was close behind, she hoped. Taking one last deep breath, Sanguine glanced back behind her. "Go straight for herbs. Destroy what you can't take, and don't hesitate to fight your opponents with the intent to kill." she whispered, voice sounding more like a hiss at this volume. Finally, muscles tense, she gave the signal. "Go."

And with that, the Skull darted into enemy camp.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify]Oh, a fight! There was no better way to publically prove you were a terrifying and fearsome warrior than a good old fashioned spar. Sanguine was all for it. The fiery serval jogged over with determination in her eyes, eager to get some battle training in. Of course, she was also doing it for attention, but that was probably already clear to everyone watching. What didn't Sanguine do for attention? "I'm in." she announced, coming to a halt in front of Scar.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify]Sanguine was not very familiar with many of her comrades yet, besides of course Q. She was still fairly new to everything and how things worked, so she had decided to take it upon herself to meet some people today and maybe make a friend or whatever. The serval, at the moment, was just waking up from a nap and wandering about the ship. There was still a lot she hadn't seen in all her time here, as it turned out. She figured at some point she had to run into someone she hadn't met yet, right?

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify]The first enemy Sanguine happened upon was the leader, it appeared. Well, that was certainly a challenge. Confident the rest of the raid patrol could steal and destroy while she distracted this chick, Sanguine set her sights on Kate. Kicking prey from their kill pile, the serval spat at the SolsticeClanner. "Gonna fight back?" she demanded in a sing song voice, making a point to stomp all over the food she'd scattered.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify]Though she hadn't formally met Velkan, she knew him through meetings and having heard his name here and there as well. He seemed smaller in person. "Hey. I'm Sanguine." the serval replied, examining the captain with interest. Not being one for manners, being polite, or any bullshit related to that, Sanguine immediately spoke what was on her mind after her introduction. "Not to be an ass, but you seem shorter than I remember you from meetings." the wildcat remarked with a light laugh. It was sort of a mental thing, she supposed, to imagine the leader being physically larger since they were in charge. It had surprised Sanguine somehow that Velkan was a normal sized life form in person and not the size of a beluga whale.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify]Sanguine was unsurprised at the demotions, as she had yet to see any of the demoted surgeons in person, but she supposed it was probably a little upsetting to those who knew them personally, especially since she'd heard Peachmoon had actually been born and raised here eons ago. That was their deal, though, San reasoned. It wasn't like a demotion was the end of the world. It could mean a new beginning, or a chance to try something else. Power wasn't for everyone.

As for the promotions, Sanguine whooped loudly and grinned at the promotees. They all deserved it, in her opinion. "Good luck to y'all!" the serval said with a grin, and an extra little wink at her brother. The two of them were very different, that was clear, but San thought very highly of Queralt and was quite proud of his achievement.

Then, the stuff about raiding enemies. Now that was her jam. Maybe soon they could take a stab at RiverClan! That was a growing goal of hers, ever since the SolsticeClan raid.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify]Sanguine was foolish, and was of course taken by surprise when Kate lunged without a word back. The serval was smacked down and felt fangs draw blood from her side. But Sanguine was not all bark and no bite; she had a few tricks up her metaphorical sleeve. The wildcat spat at the leader once again, and aimed to jab claws into the SolsticeClanner's face to get her off.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify]Sanguine cackled at his reaction. She'd apparently wounded his pride by not-so-accident. If she had a dime for every time she did that... "Hey, no insult intended buddy! I only meant at meetings it seems like you're a giant 'cause I'm not seeing you up close." the feline replied, unable to keep laughter from her voice. "At least you're a pretty face to make up for it. Can't have it all, am I right?" Oh what a fantastic first impression she made. It was no wonder where Sanguine's reputation of being a loudmouthed asshole had come from. She prided herself on being a woman who spoke her mind, which by her definition, was someone who said any damn thing that popped into her brain.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify]Sanguine had already done a bit of battle training today, and as much as she wanted to do more, she decided it might be best to sit this one out and watch. Taking a seat a distance away, the serval reclined into a more comfortable position and watched Velkan and Wadanohara begin to spar.
