The policeman looked back and forth between the two. He smiled seeing that she was trying to take the blame. It was clear he didn't belive her and that he wasn't going to listen. "Rei just get out of here and start your new life, this isn't what you want, trust me",said Alex. He genuinly mean't what he said. He was what some may call "bad news" and even though he had enjoyed being with her, he knew that she was better off without him. The policeman pushed him into the car and slammed the door.

Alex stared out the car window as she lept at the policeman. No, this isn't possible. He shut his eyes and covered his face with his hands. He convinced himself he was dreaming, but just then she ripped the door open. He looked up and saw her, she had red eyes and the blood of the policeman was on her face. He hunched over the side of the police car and threw up at the sight of the blood. Just then his body couldn't handle anymore and he fainted falling over the edge and onto the cool cement ground.

Alex awoke a little later with a major head pain. He tried to sit up, but his vision turned completely black. The memories of the past few minutes rushed back into his mind. He knew he probaly should be scared, but he wasn't. Alex had dealt with a lot in his past, and seen a lot of crazy things. He knew that there was something different about Rei and now he knew what it was. Even though he had put the pieces together, he still couldn't actually say it out loud. She's a vampire. The whole time she could have been waiting to prey on him, but he knew deep down that he felt a connection with her. He wasn't about to just throw that away because of what she was. Rei was different then any other girl, not only with what she was, but also with how she acted. Alex felt a connection with her that he couldn't shake.

Alex got up and walked over to Rei. He put his hand underneath her chin gently making her look at him. "Never apologize for something you can't control." It wasn't her fault that she was a vampire and he knew that. Regardless, he didn't want it to end like this, so he held out his hand. She could either take it or leave it, but he was giving her a choice.

"I get that a lot", he smiled at her. He couldn't even under stand himself or his thoughts about the whole situation. It had been a really crazy day and his body was beginning to be tired. "I should get home, it's getting dark." He lived in an apartment in the city. It was small, but it was perfect for him and his friend troye. They would split the rent, but since the apartment was in the ghetto it was very cheap and affortable.

"I'll see you tomorrow?", he asked from over his shoulder. He yawned as he began to walk towards his home. His brain was slowly processing over everything from today. This by far was the craziest day of his life. There was a full moon high up in the sky and an owl hooted in the distance. It was chilly to say the least, but there was only a small breeze blowing.

Alex stood by his wondow, looking out at the full moon. He couldn't sleep, his mind wouldn't allow it. Everytime he closed his eyes he saw Rei. Sometimes it was her just standing looking at him, but other times it was her face covered in blood and her eyes red. He felt a connection with her, but she could also vamp out at anytime and he could end up losing his life. He hadn't gotten this far to die just because of his lack of suspicion. He had to take things slower, even if it seemed like it would be hard. He barley knew her and she could just be "playing" with her prey. Finally he layed down and fell into a light sleep.

Lizzie heard the door bell ring and went to answer it. When she opened it an expression of shock flashed across her face. She quickly covered it with a smile. Oh great she thought as she saw her ex standing there with a smile. He opened his mouth to speak, but she cut him off. "Thomas, I don't want to hear it, I have a boyfriend." Jealousy was not attractive and that's all that Thomas felt. He was insecure about everything and Lizzie broke up with him because of it, but that was the only way she could get rid of him. "What's his name?",he asked. She quickly thought of the last boy she had talked to ,Crimson, and answered,"Crimson."

Alex woke up with a sharp pain in his back. He slipped out of bed and looked at the clock 6:30 it read. He got dressed and grabbed a granola bar on the way out. While he drove the memories of the past night flashed into his mind. He pulled into school 10 minutes before the bell would ring. He went to his locker and grabbed all his needed books. Just as the bell rang, he sat in his seat next to a red head.
