"Yes thank you for the mental images." Bones would mutter, scooting closer to Spidersilk. She was seeking comfort from what she had seen. She was somewhat in shock, her head and body was throbbing, and her should scar was bruised easily.

//that is actually probably everyone's reaction
Temperance did collaspe on Spiddersilk's shoulder. "Probably for the apprentices... kits shouldn't have to hear something like this." She would answer. Bones was feeling calmed already.
-
Bones looked at Spidersilk, offering a nervous smile. "I found this weird looking bug. It went into the log and.. well... you know how it ended." She said. She really wishes she hadn't ever seen the bug in the first place. She wouldn't have had to seen the horrors.
-
//more than likely... it was probably squished.
Bones started laughing slowly too before laughing full heartedly. She actually fell over laughing. Wow! Everything she had gone through, all for a mere bug?
-
Bones approached the quickly growing patrol, yellow eyes a bit duller than usual. She too was worried about the sickness, as she had found a few dead prey. She had studied them carefully, trying to find their cause of death. She came to the conclusion that it was the sickness.
Now Bones was probably the most sick one here. She sniffled, nose a bit stuffy. Her immune system probably wasn't as well adapted as these other cats were. And that was probably the reason the tall she-cat had more of the illness than anyone else here.
"Yes. Agreeing with Spidersilk, Phantom." She said, her voice slightly rattled from mucus. She simply touched her nose to Phantom's cheek in greeting, not wanting to get him sick. -
Bones sniffled before shaking her head.
"Nah -sniffle- I'll be fine." She said to Spidersilk. She was grateful that her friend was shielding her from the wind.
The tabby she-cat still wanted to go on this patrol. Maybe she could find another dead piece of prey and get a but closer to solving the illness. -
Bones approached, still getting sicker. She hadn't shown any of the symptoms. Yet.
"Danse? I have also been finding dead prey on the territory with the same symtoms. I have been studying their remains. I think I might getting closer to the solving the cure, but don't count on it." She offered, sniffling after wards.
She was afraid she was getting sick. And if she did... well from what she could tell this sickness untreated is lethal. -
Bones leaned on Spidersilk when the ebony she-cat came up to her side. She scanned everyone else and spotted Phantomstep gazing at the two. She weekly smiled at him, despite his emotionless face. Something was wrong with him, she knew, but what?
-
Bones shuddered, sitting in a corner of a camp. She coughed loudly, wheezing after wards. She shuddered again. She was sick. And that was that. She would have to go join the others. Well. Hold on. She began to part her fur. She groaned, coughing again, when she found the lumps.
She shuddered, standing slowly. She stiffly and slowly began to make her way to the other section before backing up and laying in her corner. There was no way she could make it over there. Maybe if she closed her eyes for now... -
Bones weakly looked up, eyes dulled. Seeing her friend, she smiled alightly, her head falling back down with a light thump.
"H-hhe..." She was trying to greet her friend with a simple 'hey'. Yet she couldn't. She closed her eyes again. -
Bones groaned as another shudder made its way through out her body. She coughed again.
"A-a, bbbug?" She stuttered. A light chuckle escaped her. Heh. Bugs. One almost got her killed. -
Bones could here all of them. Just fine. Yet she didn't want to move. She was afraid if she did, she would fall apart.
Hearing Phantomstep made something click. She opened her eyes slightly, seeing the handsome whirlwind. She then closed her eyes again and moved her paw, touching Blazeheart's lightly.
She coughed yet again, followed by a shudder. For a moment she thought she had died. Yet she was still here. Still here with Spidersilk, Auroradweller, Blazeheart, and her love, Phantomstep. -
Bones lapped the herbs up, chewing them slowly before swallowing. It would help her get better, right? It had to!
Feeling someone touch her, she flinched away, not wanting to get anyone else sick. Yet she couldn't go anywhere.
Was it just her or was it hot? She felt like she was in a humid desert. Ah. Probably just her. But the bumps... they itched.
The fem's skin felt itchy, as if something was crawly beneath it. She wanted to itch, but she knew better. She may be on of the sicker cats, but she wasn't dumb. -
It was too much. The constant heat of the sick ones and herself. The average feeling of weakness. the itch of the bumps.
Why did it have to happen to her? Already a few NPCs were moving a dead cat out of the area. She watched through narrowed eyes. How much longer until her own death?
She was thrown into another hacking fit. Blood splattered the ground next to her nest. She shuddered violently, studying the blood. Well. Nothing of her insides. Yet.
Bones felt weaker and weaker by the minute. Nearby, she was sure another cat was already dead, yet she couldn't tell. This sickness was taking everything and everyone. And, despite her being a atheist, she had resorted to praying to StarClan for help.
How many more was there to die, before it was her turn? She felt she was going to die right now. Another coughing fit, more blood spattering the earth. She lay her head down. Her breathing was slow, her fever over the top, her eyes sore. Yet she didn't give up hope on life. She had to live... for Phantomstep.
-
Bones jumped slightly at the sudden voice in her head. Ah. Phantomstep.
She searched around for the tom, despite her lack of seeing far. She spotted the familiar pelt of her lover, flicking her ear at him in greeting. She felt nauseous and quickly laid her head down. She couldn't speak to him telepathy, or verbally. Her tongue felt swollen and she didn't have the power. She was glad he brought her flowers... he was such a kind cat.
Bonds again hacked up blood. Yet something was different. She felt a large pang her stomach after wards and she convulsed mildly.
This wasn't normal. And she could do nothing to stop it.
-
Bones did eat them. Suddenly another pain. She felt like something was going on in her mind, like there was another being thrre. She blacked out.
And yet, when she opened her eyes, she was in a field. And there was Auroradweller.
"What- huh? Where are we?" She questioned. Why was she here? Why was he here? What was going on? So many questions swirled her mind.
She felt better though... almost youthful. What was going on?
-
Bones was deeply confused. She was torn between trusting him to keep her alive or not trusting him and accepting it, causing her death. Her yellow orbs blinked.
Then she thought of Spidersilk. Spidersilk would be heart broken. She had already lost her apprentice and everyone had seen how she reacted. How would she act if Bones died?
And what about Phantomstep? Her one and only love. Not only would she be broken, but he would be worse. He would break aswell, she was sure of it.
So now she turned her attention to the tom in front of her, still considering. Then she took a step a closer.
"I trust you." She said, reaching out her paw to lock with his.
-
From the outside, Auroradweller was gone. But Bones body was not. It had walked to the dirt pile. Strangely. First the body had convulsed and then fell limp, all life from it gone.
From the inside though, Bones felt terrible pain. Her soul. She had screamed at Auroradweller, asking what had happened, but he never answered. It terrified her. It was like a line had snapped, her soul torn from her mind.
Not only that, but the beautiful field was gone. Everything gone. Just a emptiness.
He had killed her. She had trusted him, and he had murdered her. It angered her, terrified her, and made her sad, all three of those emotions crashed into each other.
Then, for a few moments, Bones and Auroradweller had become one. They had merged. And a new line formed. A fresh one, a healthy one.
His commands rung in her ears. He... caused broken hearts?
"Auroradweller, where are you going?" She asked, but he was already gone. His voice faded, his presence leaving.
Wake up. Were those the last words she would ever hear from him? When his presence was completely gone, she was sure of it. Forever gone. What did he mean though?
Suddenly, she felt in control. She was no longer merged with Auroradweller. No longer in the feild. It was still dark, yet she could smell prey, here the singing of birds, feel the hard stone beneath her.
So she opened her eyes. She was laying on her belly, front legs sprawled in front of her. Her vision wasn't blury. Nothing itched,. Her chest wasn't hurting. She was... healthy. Suddenly, her tongue ran over a gap in her mouth. Huh. Missing a tooth. All well.
She stood slowly, unsure of what had just happened. Did he really heal her? Was she... better?
She slowly began to walk, out of the ruins, and back to camp, unsure of what just happened. She thought over and iver, not finding a scientific explanation.
So she went to the next thing: Auroradweller had killed her and she has came back.
-
Bones knew she had died. She just knew it. Auroradweller was the cause of it. Yet it had crossed her mind that he had saved her. If he hadn't of killed her, she would have died and never come back.
She was oblivious to her scent; vanilla and Auroradweller. It was on her when she had... been re-born? Whatever. She kept running her tongue over the gap in her mouth. Her front tooth was gone. It bothered her greatly.
She kicked a rock and almost tripped, but she had made it to the steps. Now she just needed to climb out of the ruins and run back to camp. She began her climb.
While climbing she thought over what happened to her soul. She had died, gone with Auroradweller, and then come back.
She finally reached the top and plopped down, panting.
-
Bones glanced up at the ebony oriental. Then she scrambled into a standing position.
"Oh hey." She acted casual. She didn't want to explain anything, as she wasn't sure what had happened. She recalled everything... she was just lost. She blinked her yellow orbs, looking at Spidersilk.
The cat seemed skinny... her form was more slouch and her eyes seemed blood shot. Depressed. That was the first word that came to her mind. Spidersilk seemed depressed. But over what?
"What happened while I was... dead?"
