Bones flinched as the young one came up. "Asleep... but never again waking up. Dead." Since Bones had never worked with younger creatures, that was all she could say. She sat down, bowing her head respectfully to October.

Bones nodded. "Yes." She said, making a mental note. She continued to think. "I don't think cats can have great amounts of sugar." She attempted.
-
Bones nodded before writing it down slowly. It was hard writing with your head. But, she finally completed it. She set the rock down, rubbed her paw on it until the paw pad was white and stuck it to the right corner as a signature. She stepped back as to ask Spidersilk if she wanted to the same thing.
-
Bones thought. "We wait til low tide." She said. Low tide washed stuff back out into the ocena, not onto the shore like high tide.
-
"He is gone." Temperance zaid. "Put your paw on your chest. Feel the beating? That is your heart. As long as it is beating, you are... happy. But when it stops... you are dead. You are not happy and will never be happy again." Bones tried to explain quietly to the baby dragon.
-
/you broke my heart with that post Cations\
Bones watched Spidersilk, debating whether or not to tell the she-cat. No. Let her figure it out on her own. Spidersilk looked on the verge of breaking, crumbling. She steadily watched the she-cat, ears still pinned. She then looked down, unable to watch Spidersilk's act.
-
Temperance trotted back over to her home. What had happened? Well... she had been chased onto different territories. But she was back. Sitting down, she panted slightly. "I'm... home!" She called. Ah. Yes. Home!
-
Bones noticed the sores and her eyes skimmed the body of the taller she-cat. Was Spidersilk sick? Got into a fight? Whatever it was, it had gotten worse from when Bones last saw her. oh. Yeah. October..., She thought. "Ah, how could I forget StormClan?" She said, a smile creeping onto her features.
-
Bones looked towards the sky. The fog covered any chance to see the sun. "However long until Sun-high." She stated. Her orbs looked back at Spidersilk, taking notice of the pain. She seemed to have already gotten it covered anyways. Temperance sat back on her haunches.
The two didn't really have anything to do. And patience is key. It can't last forever, right? -
Bones pricked her ears at the mention of her boyfriend's name. "I know." She answered. "So do I. We are partners." She added, looking at the tall she-cat.
-
//yes. It is. Lol.
Bones nodded. "So do I." She said. Ugh. This sun was so slow. Slower than slow. She had seen glaciers move faster.
-
Bones was taken back. Her past... was something. "I lived with a rogue group. I was weird because I often studied the death of some animals. Mainly the bones. That's why my nickname is Bones. I left the group with a little kit. He followed me." She wouldn't say anything more. It was too upsetting to remember.
-
Bones' claws dug into the bark as she again attempted to free herself, ending in yet again another fail. She growled, trying again.
What happened?
Well, Bones had been following an interesting bug, she wanted ot learn more about it, when it had gone inside a log. Bones had poked her head inside the only opened end. And, thanks to her ears, had gotten her head stuck.
"Help!" Her muffled voice could be heard. -
As much as Bones hated to admit it, she had to.
"I'm stuck." She said. She doubted it would be easy to get her head unstuck. On the bright side she had found the bug! It was on her nose.
She tried again to free herself, resulting in failure and getting stung by the bug. She let off a loud 'ow'. -
"My head! My ears are too large to let me pull back out of this log." Bones said frantically. Couldn't he help her yet? I mean, the bug had stung her nose, her head was in a log, and she just wanted to go see Phantomstep. But here she was.
-
Bones squeezed her eyes shut tigght, waiting for her head to be chopped off with the diminishing log. Her claws dug into the ground as she waited.
Suddenly the familiar soundboard Phantomstep made her open her eyes, making her realize she could infact get out. She just needed to come forward.
"Hey... you can stop shredding now." She told the... thing. A few snorts could be heard. Was Phantomstep... laughing? -
Bones felt fear tingle through out her body and her tail actually fluff up, for the first time ever. She struggled to get her head out as the chopping came closer. A screech escaped her as it was closer, ready to chop her head off.
Twisting and turning in a screaming fit, Bones attempted to escape. -
Bones felt a paw hook around her chest. Phantom. She thought. With his help of pulling, and her twisting and turning, they might be able to get her out without her head being cut off.
Alright. So the blades had slowed down. But they were still getting closer. She continued to try to pull her head out. -
//omg. I never realized how funny getting your head stuck in a log could be. I'm dieing.
Bones was basically scared for life by what she was experiencing and seeing. Why? She HAD to go after that bug. She HAD to almost get her head chopped off. And now this? She could imagine her friends and her as elders now, telling this story to the kits.
She had been so deep in thought that she hadn't realize her head actually was slowly getting pulled out. It hurt. But it was working.
Although something terrible happened. Something that would forever scar her. She slipped forward. She yowled. It was right there. In front of her face. With that one thrust, she shot backwards, head free and now flying through the air. She landed, rolled, but stood back up.
"I'm free! Finally! I'm free!" She cheered. Suddenly the thoughts of how she got free came back to her and she shuddered uncontrollably. What she had saw can never be unseen. -
"The images of what happened in that log will never go away." Bones said. Her eyes were as wide as two full moons. Her face had been scrunched up against that thing in there. And she smelt weird.
She looked at her taller friend then to her boyfriend.
"I will never be the same." Bones muttered. So now, not only did she have a phobia of snakes, but now logs.
