[justify][font=georgia]Nagi- er, Fabian? How does someone manage to muck up their own name? Ali was pretty darn sure she'd never be able to get her own name wrong, but then again maybe the guy had recently had a name change or something. Or maybe he'd had something else on his mind and had spoken without thinking. Regardless, the guy was joining and the cream tabby felt her smile widen a little as he said he wanted to join - apparently she wasn't the newest kid on the block anymore. "Of course, welcome aboard - name's Ali, nice to meet you." Well technically it was Alicia but she tended to go by Ali and it varied day by day what she introduced herself as. Apparently today she was just opting for Ali instead of saying Alicia and telling people to call her Ali.

[justify][font=georgia]A meet and greet? Well seeing as Ali was pretty new herself this probably wasn't a bad idea at all. Making her way over, the somewhat short cream tabby cat let her green eyes flicker over Daryl whom she'd already met and then move to the hostess. The girl in question was a white furred wolf, someone she hadn't yet had the pleasure of meeting. Familiar friendly smile turning up the corners of her mouth the she-cat would speak. "Hey there - I'm Alicia but I go by Ali most of the time. Nice to meet you."

[justify][font=georgia]Alicia Carr had left ArcadianClan at a reasonably early time in the morning due to the fact that she had quite a lot of ground to cover in one day. When Iason had asked for people to go and inform their allies about Volcanicstar's death she had immediately put her hand up to go to not just one of their allies but two of them. It wasn't because she knew the guy or was close to him, not even because she felt a sense of duty towards the deceased male. In fact Ali had joined ArcadianClan right after his death and the clan's change of territory, so the most she really knew about the guy was that he had died when a volcano had erupted and that he had left behind a lot of grieving friends and family. From what she'd heard people seemed to believe that he had been heading back into the territory to look for any stragglers and the lava had just eaten him right up. People described his actions as "heroic" and "noble". Ali saw it as idiotic - what kind of person walked into a lava filled camp? She got the fact that he must have felt as if it was his job to make sure no one was left behind but what he'd done didn't sound heroic to Alicia. Who just walked straight into a lava filled camp whilst knowing that if they died they'd leave behind kids and siblings and friends that might not ever get over the loss? Her reason for wanting to go was mainly because she liked to wander and she figured that she had a set number of days to live her life and she didn't know when her set number of days would come to an end and she wanted to see as much of the world as possible before they ended. Before she ended.

So Volcanicstar's supposedly "heroic" actions was the reason why the cream tabby feline could be seen not too far away from ArcadianClan's territory. Despite having left that morning it was now well past midday and the sun looked as if it would be ready to set soon. As she had never been to either WindClan or EclipseClan it had taken her longer than she had hoped to reach them despite the fact that she generally had a pretty good sense of direction. Then of course they had slowed her down once she had gotten there with all their apologies for her and ArcadianClan's loss as if she was close to the guy. She wasn't, not at all. Anyhow, Ali knew that she couldn't be far away from home because she cold see the area the volcano had affected further to her right. She'd been told to skirt around the damaged areas instead of going through them in case she fell into one of the trenches filled with lava or something similar happened to her. So that's what she was doing. It didn't bother her at all that going around the effected areas made the trip a little bit longer, she simply figured that it gave her more time to see what was around and to check things out.

The pretty cream tabby's forest green eyes were on the singed and ash covered land to her right as she walked. The sheer extent of damage from the volcanic eruption amazed the feline. She had known that volcanoes were definitely damaging but she didn't think they would be so utterly devastating.. It was no wonder the clan had had to leave their old home. It was as she'd been padding along and observing the ruined land that she heard them. Paw steps. Stopping in her tracks the green eyes of the girl flickered around curiously. Who was hanging around so close to both ArcadianClan's current home and the lands devastated by the volcano? Also, were they trouble? Should she be worrying?

[justify][font=georgia]For a moment the tabby feline had glanced around, casting her green eyes around her surroundings. Most of her attention was focused away from the volcano, for the girl had no reason to think that anyone would be in the ash covered lands to her right. After all, being there was just an accident waiting to happen - the place was full of lava filled trenches, ash and crumbling trees. It was most certainly not the sort of place that screamed of safety or security, in fact it wasn't the place that you'd expect to find anyone roaming about or living. No one with a brain would willingly wander around the lands there - not to say the damage wasn't somewhat alluring. Ali herself had been tempted to wander through just to look at the extent of devastation, but she'd been given instructions not to walk through the old territory and so she wouldn't. Well, she wasn't planning to until something happened.

The sound of rocks and rubble all tumbling down at once in a mini-avalanche caught the feline's attention. Ears pricking she instantly whipped around, surprise showing in her forest hued eyes as her focus shifted towards the charred former territory of her new clan. What on earth was someone doing in there? For a moment she couldn't spot anyone and she briefly wondered if she was imagining things, but then she noticed them. They were walking towards the volcano, keeping themselves low to the ground as they moved. They were skinny and slightly scrawny but certainly taller than she was and probably older too with their body covered in brown fur. Who were they and what were they doing? They seemed to be trying to get around unnoticed and Ali decided quickly to check out who they were and what they were doing. Sure she'd be disobeying the instructions of not entering the old territory but it was better than letting someone walk into a trench of lava or something.

Moving towards them, and the volcano, the feline called out. "You realise you're walking straight towards a volcano, right? A recently active volcano. Probably not a great idea." The cream tabby called out, flashing him a small smile, the same friendly one that she gave pretty much everyone she came across. Ali herself wasn't overly tall and was slightly on the short side but you got used to walking quickly when you had shorter legs than others and so it didn't take the feline long to be standing before the male. "Alicia Carr, by the way - I go by Ali most of the time, though. You are?" She queried, tilting her head to the side, her words not unfriendly.

[justify][font=georgia]So Ali had been tasked with decorating the camp's boundaries as her weekly task. The thing was, she had no idea just how to decorate them or what to decorate them with. Iason had given the task to probably the least creative person around when it came to arty things, which was a real pain because it meant that Alicia would then have to ask for help with it. But oh well, she didn't really mind asking for help, especially if it meant that she could get the task done quicker. This was why the cream furred girl could be found near the center of the camp with a few baskets full of decorating stuff. There were things like paints for those arty people, beads and flowers and anything else that could possibly be used to decorate the camp. With a smile on her face the green-eyed girl spoke up. "Hey guys, we're decorating the camp boundaries - anyone want to help out?" She called, her tone filled with her usual bubbly brightness. Although a slightly lost expression showed in her green gaze, hinting that she had no art or decorating skills whatsoever.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 500px; line-height: 12px; text-align: justify; font-size: 12px;]As she approached, the girl could see his ears flattening back and his mouth moving a little as if he was saying something under his breath. Which he probably was, he didn't exactly look like he had wanted her to come on over but she wanted to check things out. When she got close she realised he wasn't that much older than her, most likely a few moons at most. He was certainly a little scrawnier than she was, and much taller - Ali didn't know very many people her age or older that were shorter than she was so she couldn't say she was too surprised by that. What did catch her by surprise was their apparent closeness in age and the way he spoke so very blandly.

"I'm aware." Well, okay then. So if he was aware of what he was walking towards, then why was he doing it? That would have been the next question on the girl's lips but he was still talking, saying that it was nice to meet her. At the same time as he spoke he straightened up, confirming the fact that he was indeed a fair bit taller than she was. The confirmation of what she had already suspected didn't phase her.

Now she just needed to get the name out of him - she'd asked him so she hoped he'd have the manners to answer her. What she saw happening was his bright and electric looking blue eyes widened and he looked quite panicked. One of the few things that Ali did actually happen to be good at was reading people, thus it wasn't hard to spot the panic building inside of him. A simple "um" left his mouth sounding slightly strangled and she looked up at him out of green eyes as he shuffled his paws in a quick but somewhat awkward seeming manner.

Was he simply shy? She'd met a few shy people before. Fabian, a recent joiner, had mucked up his name and that seemed to be somewhat due to shyness. Although she couldn't really be sure, she didn't know the guy well and as such he was a little bit of a mystery to her. This guys didn't seem much like Fabian though. Thus the girl simply let the corners of her mouth turn up into a small and friendly smile, he didn't seem like trouble. A little mysterious, but mysteries were fun.

"Nice to meet you, too. So... now you know my name, I guess it's only fair you give me yours. And what you're doing here - most people don't skulk around volcanoes, y'know." Ali's words came out with her smile still on her maw and her tone jokey and friendly. But that was Alicia for you - warm, bubbly and friendly pretty much all of the time.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 500px; line-height: 12px; text-align: justify; font-size: 12px;]first off - happy birthday <3 but seriously, school comes first and it's totally understandable. good luck with your exams c:

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 500px; line-height: 12px; text-align: justify; font-size: 12px;]The WindClanners appeared quickly, one after the other with most of them telling her it was a pleasure to meet her or saying that they hoped the news she came baring wasn't bad news. Unfortunately though, it was. Offering another small and tiny smile the cream tabby spoke up, green eyes flickering over the WindClanners as she spoke. "Lovely to meet you all," Ali responded, genuinely meaning the words and pausing for a moment before speaking again. "Unfortunately, the news isn't great. We recently had a volcano erupt and our leader, Volcanicstar, was killed in the eruption. His deputy, Iason, has stepped us as leader so I'm just here to let you know. Also to invite you to Volcanicstar's funeral - the date hasn't been set yet but if there's anyone who would like to come then I'll come back and let you know once it's been decided." The cream tabby feline explained, finding it somewhat awkward to be informing the WindClanners of the death of a guy she barely knew - much less inviting them to his funeral.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 500px; line-height: 12px; text-align: justify; font-size: 12px;]The first to appear was a male and as he made his way over he stated that he was the chief, the rank Ali assumed to be leader. Then there was a girl who didn't introduce herself but gave a nod of her head and then a female named Shade who introduced herself as part of the welcoming committee. She let the corners of her mouth turn up into a small smile of greeting before she told them of her news. "Here to let you know about our change of leadership. We had a volcano erupt and our leader Volcanicstar was killed in the eruption. His deputy Iason has stepped up as leader. I'd also like to invite you all to his funeral - the date hasn't been set yet but if you'd like to come then I can come back to let you know when we've decided." Ali spoke quickly, as if she just wanted to get the words out and not have to repeat them. Which she did. It was awkward indeed to be informing others of the death of a guy she hadn't even met before - let alone asking them if they'd like to attend his funeral.
