The fluffy form of the blue seal point stood just on the edge of Windclan's borders, her blue eyes closed in a moment of pure satisfaction with having arrived here. The tiniest of smile son her face, the feline basked in the smell of the moor with all of its wildflowers, feeling the cold winter sun gently touch her fur, warming it to some degree. Of course, the feline had gone quite a ways to get where she was now; a former kittypet who decided that sort of life hadn't been for her. But that was plenty of moons ago, and she had only left after her brother had abandoned her, leaving her for many months of solo travel encountering passer by's and exchanging stories.

Those past seven months she was leaving all behind her, however, as she stood here at the border, knowing just enough about Clan life to respect them to the point where she would patiently wait no matter how long it took for someone to come and find her. If things didn't work out here, she could always leave too, of course, but there was a certain love Melchior held for the moors with all of their flowers that made her hesitant in looking for another home.

It's just so peaceful, she thought to herself with a sigh, finally opening her bright blue eyes again, scanning the horizon for the shape of any sort of Clan animal to come her way.

She had seen many a weird thing on her travels in search of a forever home, but had yet to really encounter a spider who had the very interest in speaking to her. Mildly surprised did the female feline's ears twitch as she searched for the Brown Widow's voice, finally spying the much tinier creature, and Melchior felt very hesitant about shifting her body as if she were to accidentally step on her.

"Oh," she mewed in her cool, quiet voice. "Pardon me, I didn't see you there. My name is Melchior Magi-Sinclair, I was looking to join if no one would mind me doing such," she asked, looking up from the spider only as Sans approached. As he smiled, so did Mel, feeling comforted by such a pleasant face before her eyes flickered back down towards the arachnid.

Already she felt that sense of warmth and kindness one experiences when they find the right place they're supposed to be in, at the right time. Her smile melted into one of much more natural and warmer proportions, and the female ducked her head to show her gratitude towards those that had showed up so far. The smell of the moors and wildflowers clung to their pelts ( and in the spiders case, her body, Melchior presumed ) and she hoped that in the days to come, she too would begin to smell like this place she would now call home.

"Goodness- why thank you! Araneolus is such a pretty name too, tell me, does it mean anything?" Asked the femme, blinking her blue eyes warmly at the Brown Widow, before her ears flicked at the sound of more approaching paws, the the domestic feline's gaze turned towards the snow leopards, and she nodded her head in thanks towards the offer.

"Thank you! Actually I am wondering one thing, I like to explore the territory on my own to get to know it better, but would you mind telling me of areas I should steer clear of in case they're dangerous?" She asked politely, tilting her head to the side as she flicked her long, fluffy tail behind her, before looking at Levi. Goodness, there were more and more coming; faster than she could keep up, really!

"Thank you! The pleasure is mine, Levi," she said, turning her kind, warm smile towards the canine.

ooc. I just saw this but hey, here I am o/

ic. It was still so easy to just get lost in the massive pine woods, and sometimes Caspar had started to wonder if perhaps he was looking to not be able to find his way back. As if getting lost between the trees would be the saviour, and if he simply left, he could find his own way back home- but home was starting to feel torn and conflicted. The pace of waking up in the morning and interacting with everyone else was starting to just feel so... natural. The smell of the ocean was starting to become comforting, and really, the only thing he could think about complaining about now was just how damn cold it was. Watching his billow out in tiny clouds, the male dully focused ahead of him, his dappled paws traipsing over fallen pine needles as he swerved around branches and through brambles, not knowing where he was going, just letting his paws doing the thinking for him.

There came a point, he faintly realized, where the scenery had started to change, and he really had to strain in order to hear the ocean by this point. Maybe he really had gotten lost this time, and there was a small seed of both anxiousness and excitement weighing in his belly as he still continued to push on. The trees began to change, and he noticed the bare boughs of weeping willows and the dark brown of cherry blossom trees without their bright pink companions. Had it been spring, Caspar would have loved it here, but currently he felt the same sense of dread and melancholy the dead forest of winter brought.

"You really are lost now, Caspar," he mumbled to himself before his ears pricked, hearing something moving a little ways off. Thinking it might be prey, or someone else, did the feline follow after the sound, breaching the small clearing where the shrine was. Surprised did Caspar blink his eyes a few times, before registering that Summerpaw was here, as well, and the feline tilted his head to the side as he looked at her for a few good moments, trying to decipher what on earth she was doing.

"Summerpaw?" he questioned, padding forward a little more, looking at the shrine with faded curiosity. "What re you doing here? Wh... what is this place?"

He had found himself back at the shrine again after walking once more that day, thoughts slightly troubled, but nonetheless his dappled paws carried him over the territory to where the mass was growing. Odd, since last time he had been here, it was much more quiet. Watching his breath billowing from his mouth, he stopped, looking at Meteorpaw with faint interest. She was the one he had seen at the border, the one who had greeted Seafoam with such intensity. It was clear to see she had returned from... wherever, judging by others reactions and words, but from where?

"People seem to know ya from around here," he commented, padding up towards Greenday, as she was the only one he was most familiar with. "But I don't so. Name's Caspar, seems like you returned or something? Where'd you go to, then?" he asked, not unkindly, but a brow was raised in wonder.
