Porcelainkit frowned and bit her lip, fighting back the tears that swelled in her eyes. To see Stormglass like this... she didn't know whether to feel relieved that he wasn't bottling up his emotions, or to feel heartbroken. She always knew her father as a powerful man. After all, he was deputy. He had fifteen children, and she was one of them. Probably the most problematic one. She was glad that her birth body was in a comatose state, and she assumed that everyone would be happy too. All she did was argue with him, and she even attacked her own brother, Evenkit. In that same day, she no longer claimed him as her father in a blind fit of rage. Therefore, she would no longer be a burden to him.

Then Lostkit was pulled away by the current. She knew that this was practically eating him away. The air was heavy with grief, and she had no idea how to deal with it. Maybe her presence alone would let the blue tabby know that she did care for him, with the love of a daughter.

Upon hearing her name, the bobtail kitten's ears perked, and looked towards the deputy, a small smile on her maw. "Yes, Stormglass?" a part of her wondered why did the blue tabby want her. At least she wasn't mentioned by name, or the guilt would eat her up. The bobtail padded towards the riverbed, flinching as a drop of water landed on her paw. Ahead, was that same tree she fell off of as Featherkit. Sharply inhaling, she looked at the blue tabby and prepared to speak.

"There's no such thing as the perfect father, like there is no such thing as the perfect children," Trust me, I know. She flicked an ear and thought of more words. "Don't let yourself be miserable; or at least, not for long. Your kids will still love you, even if they try to deny it. Stormglass, you're deputy. But you are still in your kits' life. That's what good dads do." she finished with a small shrug. Did she use the right choice of words?
